We had an amazing time at the aquarium! The mermaid dive for pearls experience was truly magical for our daughters. Kaya was so kind and answered all of their questions. It was so special for them to meet her, and they were mesmerized watching her swim. Meeting Aspen, the adorable two-toed sloth, was fascinating, and the river otters were so cute! Thank you to all of the friendly staff that helped make our day memorable!

It was fun to go again after visiting 7 years ago. A little crowded but not too bad on weekdays. Just went through the general exhibits, loved the otters and saw a new species of jellyfish! Really good about cleanliness all around and at the washing station after petting the stingrays.

I had a great time on a Sunday around 5 pm. Tickets had been purchased beforehand and it wasn’t as crowded as I would’ve expected. Finding parking was smooth, I enjoyed getting to see the sharks, river otters, starfish, and rattlesnakes the most, but I appreciated being able to take in all of the different species. I’m normally more of a museum type of gal, but this was definitely a trip I will remember with fond memories.

Such an amazing aquarium. Enjoyed all the sea animals. It was cool to see how rain falls in a different climate too. Love the mantis shrimp and jelly fish. I was surprise to see non-marine animals too! They had an area where you can pet the mantis rays. Also a cleaning section to wash your hands before and after touching them.

We had a trade show event here. Otherwise, I would have never thought of visiting an aquarium in the middle of the mountains.
To my surprise the aquarium is very nice with well created exhibits.
We loved the petting areas for different sea animals. We also saw animals strolling thru the exhibits while accompanied by staff members.
The stars of the visit were the two young tigers they had on site. Amazing animals!!
Would definitely recommend people to come visit and check it out if they can.

The aquarium is a pretty cool place for landlocked Colorado. It's even better than some on the west coast. I recommend skipping the weekend and trying to hit this place during the week. I've been both during the week and weekend, and IMO weekday is more enjoyable. The restaurant is definitely fairly generic food but a cool experience watching the mermaids and fish while you eat. So you're paying for the experience, not the food quality.

The aquarium was very educational and had a large variety of activities and species of animals for the children to explore. They had a wonderful time, and it was well worth the cost. We wish we had more time to explore, but our toddler was restless. We did not get to try the restaurant, but it looked beautiful. We will definitely return when we have more time and better temperaments!

The Aquarium was really cool. It's split into different biomes, so you can see the kinds of fish and other aquatic animals that live in those particular regions. I wish the tigers weren't sleeping when we went, though, so next time, I will probably see if I can plan our trip around a time we'll know we can see them.

Much better experience than I expected. The aquarium was not crowded at all when we visited. They have a large selection of aquatic life to see and learn about...and they have tigers too (that was a little different but not bad).

It was our first visit to the aquarium. After a delicious meat/cheese tray, we enjoyed a buffet fit for a king. They allow you to take drinks into the exhibit area. We'll definitely have to bring our grandsons here.

We had a blast at the aquarium. We stayed for dinner and the food was as you would expect for an “attraction” restaurant: service was attentive and we were surprised by a mermaid show. The kids did not want to leave! After diner we had to walk through the loop another dozen or so times. Make sure you feed the rays! One staff member, Ethan, was particularly memorable. He engaged with the kids and was happy to share his incredible knowledge of all things. He really was the cherry on top to make our experience the best. Cheers to you Ethan! We appreciated your time.

This aquarium is really special to me. I just love going here. The sturgeon window is my favorite, I love watching these beautiful creatures fly through the water.

The animals are well cared for! They're not falling ill or being injured in the enclosures. It's clear the team is very concerned about their health, water quality, and environments.

The exhibits are all well designed, allowing for clear, comprehensive and, in some exhibits, really unique views. Most window heights are easily accessible to wheelchair users and children. Two tanks have a step to reach them and the wharf area tanks might be a bit too high to be completely accessible (I haven't used my chair at the aquarium so I can't be exact).

The educational signage is really well done, particular in that first room that focuses on Colorado wildlife. My only complaint is that most tanks don't have signs showing who everyone in the tank is.

I've only visited at night because I love how intimate the lighting is when it's dark outside. It's also much quieter at the end of the night. The only downside is that the otters and tigers are usually sleeping by then :[ Just found out about the sensory days, I'm really looking forward to being able to visit when the big sounds and such aren't going.

Really great experience for the whole family. We love going to the aquarium. I would recommend getting the package where you can feed the stingrays, see the 4D theater, and get a drink. The exhibits are beautiful and the animals are happy.

We were visiting from out of state (Idaho). It's a great place to take the kids and have some good bonding and family time. There's a variety of fish to see. From gold fish to sharks. The icing on the cake was the tiger 🐯 exhibit.

So much fun! Even got to pet the string rays, And the employees are so helpful! Granted the prices for the photos are expensive, maybe should have a ticket price to include it for a discount but overall very good!!

The aquarium is such a fun place to visit for all ages. This was our second time, and it is still just as exciting. You can easily find yourself lost in there for a long time looking at all the different fish and taking pictures. It's really fun when it's not as busy when you have as much time as you want to just watch and take pictures of fish as if you were a real wildlife photographer, trying to get that perfect shot. To see how the fish move around and even dont bother other fish at least is a neat thing to see because it gives you a perspective of how they are in some manners in water. To have the opportunity to go one place and see such a wide variety of water life is a great thing that Denver has. If you get a chance to take your kids it's a must do, can make it a day trip, date, venture out there's a lot to be seen. You won't be disappointed. They do have a restaurant. However, we have never eaten there. They also have a gift shop with lots of cute stuff. If you're visiting Denver, I recommend making a stop here.

Denver aquarium. Had a quick blast at the many exhibits at the Denver Aquarium. They have river otters🥹, a macaw, and two male Sumatran tigers. Two unrelated male tigers in the same habitat is very rare. It was awesome to see. Nice little break from the work day.

They are open until 10PM thats a huge plus. Spend about 1 hour if you only see the exhibits without animal interactions. Our toddler enjoyed his visit throughout, so so for adults. But the apir of juvenile tigers were a site to see. Even though they were confined than being in the wild or at least in a big enclosure kinda puts the perspective off about zoos. They are open until 10PM.
