Great bakery! Only open to the public on Saturdays from 10-2:30. It's a little wonky. You take a number and fill out a form with all the things you want. Breads, pastries, you name it, they have it! They call numbers 2-3 at a time to go in. Once called inside, you hand over your form, they put everything together, you pay and you're all set! Highly recommend.

This place is a gem if you love bread, scones, muffins, cookies,rolls and excellent croissants!!

The rating says it all. The products speak louder. The best chocolate Babka ever. The best rye. Lavender sourdough? Yep. Croissants, cookies, pain au chocolat...and on and on. Exquisite delights that are a feast for the eyes. Friendly, outgoing, kind and helpful staff. Retail customers can only get their fill on Saturdays. Get there! Share with your neighbors and friends.

We got a multitude of options to try out and they were all fantastic. Highly recommended, it's obvious this is a top notch bakery. If you're in the area, you should definitely make a trip over here.

I love this place, very much suggested bring your own grocery bags you can never buy just one thing! I got sourdough lavender, rye bread, cinnamon roll, sticky bun, and a  Chocolate Babka roll! Enjoy the photos, but more importantly go and smell the bread😂🤗👍🍞🥐🥖💜

YUM!!! My husband and I pre-ordered online for Thursday pickup and the process was very easy: I received an email and text as reminder for pickup, and once we arrived our order was right there ready to go, no line or wait. There is a $20 minimun on the pre-order. The rosemary sea salt sourdough is wonderfully flavorful, and the jalepeno cheddar batard is a MUST TRY. So soft and delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try more.

I went to Grateful Bread for the first time yesterday. My family has been telling me about it for a while and we finally got there. I bought a jalapeno Tillamook batard. When we got home we sliced it up to dip in olive oil. It was so good. This morning I toasted a slice for breakfast and it was even better the second day. I live 85 miles from Golden but I'll definitely be looking for reasons to travel there on a Saturday.

Definitely worth waiting all week and then in line at the door. So many good things to see and smell and buy and eat. The Grateful Bun, the cookies, and the bagels are my favorites.

First time going today and was not disappointed. Everything we got was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the jalapeno batard. Everyone working was also extremely pleasant. Will be back next week!

The best bread and pastries I have had pretty much anywhere. We showed up on Saturday about ten minutes before the opening time and was 80th in line. It took about a minute per person so we hung out for and hour and a half. Absolutely worth it. The Turkey croissant was so gosh darn tasty I will order a few for next time. Each loaf is around $6 which is reasonably priced and once your number is called they are quick to grab your selection and proceed with checkout.

The Grateful Bun is one of the best things I have ever had. Grateful Bread Company also made me realize that I’ve never had a proper croissant before, as theirs was perfectly flaky and buttery on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. Don’t even need to add anything to it, just delicious. Will be back for more!

This place is absolute trouble. I have certainly sampled my far share of items and everything is consistently great. The jalapeno cheddar bread and pretzels are absolutely amazing and certainly can be accessorized in many ways once home. The croissants...ALL of them are DELICIOUS. Just do it, don't mind the wait on some summer days as its worth it. Thank you team for what you are doing to stay open throughout COVID.

AMAZING! As someone who moved to the area from a city with a plethora of fantastic bread bakeries, I was disappointed when I found less here-- and then I found Grateful Bread. Everything they make is fantastic, from bread to pastries to cookies. Whatever the special is, try it!! Plus, they have been diligent about COVID safety, which is so appreciated in these times, and always have friendly staff. I sure am grateful for their bread. :)

I try boutique bakery breads all over the country and this one had a huge amazing variety of high quality choices. It can be discouraging to see the long line but they ran it very efficiently and though there was a about a hundred people in front of me it only took about 45 minutes. BTW: I was there at about 10 minutes before opening. It was worth the wait and I left with a great selection of choices that lasted my entire visit even when sharing with friends. A must visit in the denver area and is almost as good as Zingermen's Bakery in Ann Arbor

First time visiting and they did a wonderful job. Very friendly staff, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their baked goods. They have everything from light sourdoughs to wonderful whole wheat boules. Their pastries are fantastic too! I'd give them a 10 star rating if I could, will definitely be coming back every Saturday.

Absolutely amazing bread. If you value a crusty French baguette, it’s definitely worth the wait every retail Saturday. Other favorites are their rosemary sourdough, lavender sourdough, sticky buns, pretzels, and ginger molasses cookies.

Best bread and baked goods in the world. I always get a loaf of bread, a couple ham and cheese croissants, some jalapeño pretzel sticks and a cookie. Always busy, but worth it.

The bad reviews of this business make me sick. Yes, their bread is very popular. Yes, there is a line to get it on Saturdays. Does that make them bad people? No, it means they have a good product. It's bread, not a cure for whatever you think it's going to cure. Get there a bit early, buy their lovely bread and enjoy it. These people take great pride in making a great product and will be doing so for a long time.

Grateful Bread had been around for a long time and is a favorite among resturaunts. This means they only do retail sales on Saturday. If you can get here Saturday morning. Do it! All the favorites run out fast.

Awesome staff and even awesomer breads and treats! Jalapeno cheddar breads are drool worthy. Mmmm
