Today was my first visit at Highland Smiles and I wish I could give them 10 stars! Everyone in the office was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Arnold took her time to explain everything in detail and make me feel comfortable. I have definitely found my new dentist in Denver!

Be careful! The dentist in this place did the wrong treatment to me, even though I told her many times that I thought something else was wrong since the beginning. Due to the respect I have for people who gets an education, I listened to her advice and accepted to start with her treatment. Quickly, and in pain, I told them the treatment wasn’t working that I needed the other treatment she talked about. Instead of accepting that she was wrong, she insisted nicely that I had to try for a few more week cause she had the same problem for weeks and it worked. For weeks I was in pain, but going back for her to do something but nothing she did worked. After weeks of pain, finally she said I was going to need a root canal!! So I was right and her treatment didn’t work! I went to another dentist and finally my problem was fixed. Now, highland smiles is trying to charge me over $600 (After insurance) for the FAILED “treatment” they provided, and for the pain they made me pass through for weeks!! Do NOT go to this place, maybe for a cleaning or easy stuff cause the technicians did a good job but the dentist…. Never going back to this place.

I've had good experiences with Dr. Rohleder & hygienists, but recently with Dr. Arnold, my 2 crowns were very rushed. I found Dr. Arnold to be lacking any bedside manner. There were no expectations set and no follow up care of expectations were explained other than "you're numb, you might need a bite adjustment".
After expressing nervousness to the assistant regarding a root canal, the assistant who seemed to be visiting for the day and new to Dr. A said- "if this turns into a root canal, we really f*cked up" - super unprofessional and I now know, not something he could even comment on accurately. While finishing the two crowns, Dr. A was shouting instructions to the assistants as she walked away down the hall without any further interaction.
It being my first crowns ever, I did not know what to expect and was in significant pain the following week and came in for a bite adjustment. I experienced Dr. A invalidating my pain and was at an emergency dentist two weeks later because this office is closed on Fridays. (and only offers "look up an emergency dentist" on the website)
Two months later, I've spent twice the $$ on root canals needed because of the nerve damage that may have occurred from the chunk of cement that was left between the two crowns and was poking into my gum tissue. When my endodontist asked that Dr. A's office clean out the cement, the hygienist told me that it "would likely not make a difference", which further invalidated the pain I was in. My pain was reduced by at least 50% the next day, but still needed a root canal because of how inflamed the nerve had gotten due to negligence and being rushed.

I tried to communicate with the office via follow up email review they ask for, but have heard nothing. Very disappointed.
