Papa Johns Pizza

Excellent new york-style 16-inch pizza as you can see three toppings sausage pepperoni and black olives. Only way to go in Denver Colorado. Papa John's. The only thing that could have been better would have been too buttery sauces for that 16 in New York Pizza . Should never be stingy with the sauce boss.

We order from here regularly and it’s pretty consistently good. We had extra people for a family party and one of the pizzas wasn’t made quite as we ordered. I called and explained and they re-made a new one, no problem, apologized profusely and gave us a 2-liter of soda. Thanks for the great customer service and we’ll keep coming back!!

First time order delivery wasn’t best, but something optimistic in my head said maybe the second time may be a go! I ordered online & got delivered in 25mins!!!! (& the delivery person was super smiley &quick🩷)

We were in the middle of planning a funeral, contacting family and wanted a bite to eat on the go. Of course we could have Wendy's or McDonald's. We thought we'd stop in and see if we could get a quick slice of pizza. The crisp, fresh, flavourful pepperoni pizza they prepared in the amount of time waiting in a drive thru for a cold burger was great! The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Next time we'll spend more time here!! Great pizza place!

Had a great experience. I made a mistake on my order by not ordering online for the deals and Danny helped me out and gave me a discount. really made my night and the pizza was great!

I always order online, so I am never really concerned about delivery time, nor have had problems with it. I have been using this location since I moved into my house nearly 7 years ago. There have been little snafoos with my orders on rare occasions, but the managers whom I have spoken with have always been extremely accommodating!

I’d like to mention my experience on the day before Thanksgiving. I ordered online, and (stupidly) thought I’d just “pop” into the grocery store. What I thought would take 15 min, tops, took an HOUR! By the time I came to pick up my pizza, the manager, David, was SO KIND and informed me that he tossed it since it had been sitting out for so long and will make a fresh one for me. On top of that, he upgraded my medium to a large. That was so nice and he certainly didn’t have to do that. Thank you!! It was nice to go home, get some cooking done for the next day, and have a fresh pizza to much on for dinner. 🙂

ALWAYS order online for best accuracy! Modifications are NO PROBLEM if you use their ordering system directly.

The pizza is hot, the drinks are cold (some places keep warm bottles, who wants that?), the service is good, the delivery was 40 minutes from oven to door on a Friday night. I know fast food is always hit or miss on any day but my experience gets 5 stars

UPDATED Review on 4/14/21. Well, I've ordered my Pizza (The Works on a Thin Crust) from this same Papa John's Location 3 more times since I last posted my original review in December of 2019 (Being a Professional Chef, I don't order out very often). The 1st time (in 2021), the Pizza arrived Hot and prepared properly. The 2nd time I ordered my Pizza (I get the same kind every time with slight changes. The Works on a Thin Crust) I ordered Extra Mushrooms. Not only did it not come with Extra Mushrooms, it came with no Mushrooms at all!! It was to late to complain and get a replacement so I ate it anyway. Still good, but I missed the flavor of the Mushrooms. The 3rd time I ordered my Pizza, I ordered Extra Mushrooms, Bell Peppers & Olives with Extra Sauce. Since I had a problem with ordering Extra Toppings the last time I ordered, I called the store location and made sure they saw that I had ordered the Extra Toppings. The person that answered the phone apologized for the previous mistake, looked at my order to confirm my additions and said they would make sure it was made properly. The Pizza arrived within the time frame quoted online (30 minutes) and was prepared properly. Since I've worked in the Restaurant business for over 40 years, (25 of which I was the Executive Chef), I can understand that sometimes even the best places/people can make mistakes. So all in all I'm very satisfied with this Locations consistency in the quality of the food and timeliness of delivery, even during their rush hour times (5pm-9pm). I will definitely be ordering Pizza and the Cinnamon Pull Aparts again from this location in the future.

I just finished a Thin Crust, Works Pizza that I got from this Papa John's location on Christmas Eve 2019 at 630pm! Not only did it come quickly, (under 30 min) it was also nice and hot, also not sticking to the top of the box!! The driver was very personable and courteous and managed to find my location (Unit) without any trouble, even though other delivery drivers from other restaurants have had problems. This location gave me the best Papa John's pizza I have ever had. The thin crust was nice and crispy and the toppings were loaded but not so overloaded that it fell apart. I am definitely going to be ordering another pizza from this papa John's location in the future.
BTW, I'm a Professional Chef with 40 yrs in the business and even we get guilty cravings!! LOL.. Thanks...

This pizza joint has the best General Manager I have ever experienced. With the horrible roads due to weather, he had only 2 delivery drivers and him alone filling a lot of pizza orders. I used to work at a Papa John's in El Paso and I do know the stress of getting those pizzas made QUICK. That manager managed to do it ALONE. What a guy. And my pizza was the best I have had since I was in El Paso, 3 years ago.
If anyone in Lakewood or Denver needs a good job, Papa John's in Lakewood CO on wadsworth near jewel, is hiring and I must add of all the jobs I've had in my 67 years, Papa John's was the most rewarding and funnest......

Great spot as far as food quality and customer service goes.

We order from this location all the time and have never had an issue. Our pizzas have all come out looking and tasting as expected and on time. Some of the employees have a hard time with processing gift cards and the like, but the manager is really on the ball and has saved the day on multiple occasions.

Holly is amazing and deserves all that the company can offer her. I still have not received my food after an hour and fifteen plus, but her customer service is top form. She was calm and assuring on phone, and extremely polite. Very impressed with her representing.

Simply Incredible!!! This was the best pizza I've had in a long time. A piping hot pizza delivered to my door, the freshness is lingering in my mind, freaking out of the oven hot, I'm impressed. I ordered the barbeque chicken. Thanks PJP's, excellent service from the phone to the door...

So far every order from this location has been awesome. Every time I order extra cheese, I get it. Their gluten free pizza is way better than dominos. Thanks guys, officially converted.

Food was hot and fresh! Request Mathew for a delivery driver he is amazing he goes above and beyond! Most drivers stand in the lobby we have to go down and get it he brought our food right to our door! Thanks Mathew for going the extra bit excellent customer service!

I haven't had any issues they always get my order right.

The pizza was great and was made quick. I went to a 7-eleven to get drinks before and ordered pizza for dinner. By the time we arrived, it was ready to pick up. Speedy service and great pizza.

The best you can ask for from the Papa. Cheap and easy solution for delivery eats in the Lakewood area. Ordered 2 large pies- 40 minute estimate, 20 minute delivery time at 8pm on a Friday night. Driver was quick and courteous.

The pizza s were very good and make the way I had ordered them . Best pizza we ate in a long time . Great tasting Pizza.
