Blessing Restaurant Gettysburg

This place is a new place in Gettysburg and worth a try. It has really good salsa and other food but is very understaffed. It was not super busy but busy enough on a Saturday evening around dinner time. There was 1 server and he was stretched very thin. They had 1 food runner on staff but she did not understand English. The server held it down well though!! The portions are very generous and very very tasty!! They have Pupusas and they are highly recommended by me!!! Maybe a jalapeño one soon??? Haha. Give this place a try and then go get some ice cream and walk around.

The food was so good! Our waitor was extremely nice! I ordered a chicken Quesadilla. Other family members ordered different items off the menu and they all looked so delicious! Wasn't able to get pictures since they kind of dove in! Definitely will be back again!

This place IS a Blessing and easily the best Mexican restaurant in Southern Pennsylvania. It's hard to find good Mexican food this far east, but Blessing Restaurant is un diamante en bruto. Pupusas? Excellent. Birria tacos? Ginormous. Highly recommended.

Food: Pretty good! We love Montezuma's, but this is a pretty darn close second! The chimis were thick, the fajitas were tasty! It all went down great! Our pocketbook felt it quite a bit at $20+ for fajitas, but once in a while is an alright thing. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, the food was prompt and delicious! Highly recommend! (And the wild salsa that came with the chips seemed almost like a gazpacho. Really good gazpacho!)

This was a fantastic experience. The blessings mix fajitas were cooked in a carved out pineapple 🍍. It was delicious. The tres leches was great. We also had the chriozo queso.

Food here is really good. I've had a lot of fajitas all over the country and these were some of the best as far as the flavor of the meat. I had steak, and it was delicious. Service was great too. Would recommend if you are in town visiting. Meal was roughly $23 before tip, which isn't too bad for steak fajitas.

Excellent customer service, great Mexicann food. The birria tacos were Bomb! They have Salvadorean dishes too😍 The Pupusas were delicious and the Tamarindo tasted homemade!!

The food was delicious, the quesi-tacos were my favorite! The attention was very good, and the place very clean.

WOW! That's how we felt about all the dishes we ordered. The food was fresh and delicious. From empanadas and pupusas to quesi-tacos and nachos, you can't go wrong. They are understaffed (as most places are these days) and were apologetic for the wait. We didn't mind at all. That was Friday night.

We enjoyed the food so much we went back for lunch on Saturday!

Ordered from Uber eats and what a treat!! Everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were huge.
Their queso dip is thick and came with lots of chips. I had the Al pastor burrito which was filling and beyond tasty. Ditto my husband’s steak chimichanga and my daughter’s chicken chimichanga. Just perfect really. Great job Blessings!!

Food was delicious!! Speedy service... Birria Tacos were good :-) ... only complaint is... couldn't order single tacos... had to order a 4 taco plate which I shared with my Brother...if you like Mexican food... This is a must stop while in town... we stuffed our belly before making a 10 hour drive home.

Food is extremely delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The salsa they serve with the chips is extremely delicious. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the Gettysburg area!

Went there with my family on my visit to Gettysburg, delicious Mexican-Salvadoran Food, the service was quick and amazing!! Definitely will come back on my next visit.

I’ve been to 31 states. Let’s be honest…most states can’t do Mexican food like CA. There food however was surprisingly delicious. Good price and good proportions too. Their staff was absolutely wonderful. The music was a good level. The bathrooms and restaurant were very clean. They also had the good coke lol if you know what I mean. I would definitely recommend eating here! Especially cause it’s one of the only places that aren’t the typical cuisine in town which is all the same.

Really great food! Was very happy to see tongue tacos. They were amazing and I highly recommend trying. Flavors were fresh and clean. Atmosphere was great. Nicely decorated, good music and relaxed family friendly setting. Service was prompt and kind.

I read such good reviews online about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try at the end of a long, rainy day. Everything we ate was fantastic. The queso was nice and hot and the perfect level of spicy; so was the free salsa. I had the bean and cheese pupusa. It’s huge portions, so I could not finish it—but it was absolutely amazing. I’m only in Gettysburg for vacation, but I would love to come to come back often. And the service is just as good as the food!

The birria tacos were absolutely life changing! We ate there 2 nights in a row! We also loved the chicken and cheese pupusas, al pastor tacos, and the plantains. An awesome little gem in Gettysburg. We cannot wait to come back!

We ordered the Mega Blessing Mix, I must say every dish was delicious, the papayas have been my favorite Salvadorean dish for years, and they do them well. The Birria Tacos really hit the spot. I will come back.
