Beau Jo's Arvada

This place puts the RAD in Colorado. They have a very different style of pizza here called Colorado Style. Think deep dish but different. After you eat the front part of the slice, you put honey on the leftover crust and eat it. 5/5 stars quality. I recommend the Pepperoni pizza and the Pacific Rim pizza which is a variation of a Hawaiian pizza. We followed up with peach cobbler and ice cream.

As awesome as the food was, the service was even better. 6/5 stars. Our waitress was Heidi. She was so patient with us as first-timers that we called the manager over and gave him our compliments about her warm service and sparkling attitude.

In the summer, they have live music on the patio. See you there!

When we first went in, I went straight to the restroom... it was so clean (which makes me feel good about my choice of places to eat). I've always thought if the restrooms are dirty.. what does the kitchen look like!

We travel all over the US, this had to be some of the very best pizza we’ve ever had. And our server Kristina was awesome! The honey to dip your crust in afterwards was freaking genius! If we come back to Denver we will absolutely be back.

Wow, where to start. The staff and atmosphere is very welcoming and warming. The staff was awesome and attentive, they were the best I've had ina a while and I appreciate it. I came here to treat my brother who visited from out of town who happened to love pizza. I'd actually say he's a pizza connoisseur.

We went with the house side salads and the 2lb Mountain Pie which was enough for 4 people and was really good. My wife and I got the 1000 Islands dressing and my brother got their Homemade Ranch. The salads were very fresh; the lettuce was crispy, the tomatoes were sweet and firm, the croutons were the perfect size and had weren't as dense as others that are really dense and hard. The cucumbers were firm and fresh and the pepperoni was spicy. The blend of mozzarella cheese blended well with the salad.

Now to the pizza, we ordered the 2lb Mountain Pie, which had a larger crust that you could eat with the honey that they also serve. It's meant to be a sort of dinner and dessert kinda thing which was interesting and tasty. You had full access to the tools of pizza making with all the ingredients, sauces, and types of cheeses to bring your pizza dream to life. They also had a crushed red pepper blend that was so good I had to buy some for back home before we left.

All in all, I rate this spot a solid 5 for 5 for the atmosphere, quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff. There wasn't a pint when I wondered where my server was and I never ran out of my drink.

I've never tried Colorado style pizza before but their pizzas were really good! Would love to try them out again if I ever come back here in the future.

Experience was great, food was also great. The only reason for 4 stars was more knitpicking reasons, but because the crust could've been a little softer, however, there are real no dislikes about anything. Overall, it was a great experience, and I do recommend Colorado style pizza.

I had the lunch special, the1lb with mushrooms and green peppers and a side salad. They definitely have huge portions I couldn't come near finishing the app, the salad was full of veggies and the pizza was beyond awesome. It's got this really thick crust and they give you this warm honey and chipotle seasoning that's amazing!! Danielle was my server and did an amazing job, super on top of everything even though the restaurant was crowded and busy. My new favorite pizza spot by far!

This place is the best!! Amazing pizza, our favorite is the hipster. Add on the honey and boulder pepper and you're good to go! Their apps are also great, mushrooms are fantastic, as is the hearty arty. Honestly we've never had a meal here we didn't enjoy.

But what's really great is the service. We've been a number of times and the servers are all pretty great, however, the manager is INCREDIBLE. He's so awesome and really supports his employees too.

We love coming for happy hour, but happy to pay full price for the amazing food and wonderful service we've always received. Come support local ❤

Our first dinner in Denver and it was outstanding.
It’s very American Italian food but great food is great food.
I was very impressed with their pizza crust which is both crispy and soft.
You must try the pizza and save the crust for dessert. You can dip into honey which is recommended by the owner.
What a genius!
Overall both their pizza and pasta have nicely chewy texture. I am personally like it very much.

We just moved to Arvada in April so we're hunting for our favorite spots. This was our (family of 4) first visit to Beau Jo's. My daughter and I ordered sandwiches that were delicious but they don't picture well because it just looks like a bunch of bread though there's plenty in between. My husband had the adult Mac and Cheese with 3 toppings and my son had a small Mother Load pizza. All delicious! We had a tiny issue with one of our meals and they bent over backwards to correct it. We will absolutely go back. Great experience!

Love their pizza but not liking their wings. I know, if I wanted wings I should’ve gone to a wing place not a pizzeria. Anyway, the wing appetizer is overpriced, the wings are small, and for some strange reason they’re served on corn chips instead of with carrots and celery. Just doesn’t go well with chips. Stick with the pizza. That’s amazing.

We had one of their pizzas, and it fed our family of 3. One of the best tasting pizzas I've had! We ordered the little italy. Best part was the bottle of honey they brought to the table that could be drizzled on the thick edges of the pizza. The waiter was also exceptional. Loved the food, the service and the environment.

Mistakes happen. It isn't the mistake that determines an experience it is how it is handled. We were sat and then did not get acknowledged for 10-15 minutes. I am bad with time, but was able to make decisions and chat and I am very very slow at making decisions. Danielle noticed us looking around and came over to take care of us. From that point forward, service was amazing. She was friendly, accurate, patient, and checked back often. She made sure our drinks were always refilled. The food was amazing and Danielle was patient with our requests for pacing so we didn't get all the food at once and we could enjoy it. We were heard and well taken care of after she was involved. She notified her manager of the problem and he came over multiple times to check on us, make sure things were good and answer questions. (I love their buffalo sauce, turns out is from their distributor so I can't buy it. Guess I have to go back!)

Thank you Denny and Danielle for taking care of us. We will come back more often, you have made loyal customers out of us.

A Colorado's must have, the pizza is just mind blowing
My favorite is divided in two. 1. Once you finish a slice, they give you honey to put on the crust, and it was a completely new and amazing experience, it tastes amazing
2. The spicy flakes they've got for topping the pizza. Yes, it is spicy, but gives the best flavor to pizza

Visiting Denver from Omaha NE. Stopped in to try the honey pizza crust and the pizzas looked tasty.

Received our drinks and appetizers quickly. The hearty arty is spinach and artichoke dip and it's Fullll of artichokes and so good. The garlic bread was not a wow factor by itself but it was tasty with the artichoke dip. The honey cheeeeeese bread was so good. I've never had anything like that before. I can't wait to make something like that at home! Mind blown it was so good.

Ordered our pizzas and somehow the ticket got lost and our pizzas came out later than expected. Denny, the manager, came over and handled the moment professionally. We accepted his apology and will be back in a few months to try it again when we're back in town.

Makenna, our waitress, was on top of keeping our drinks full and kept checking in on us.

The staff was amazing, the food was amazing, go get yourself some honey cheese bread and arty hearty.

Heard about the Colorado Style Pizza but never had it. The waitress was extremely helpful, gave the run down on the menu, always asked if I needed anything and gave me tips for Denver since I’m not from here. Ordered the Cajun Small Pizza, definitely spicy! Really good and interesting eating the crust with honey. Great place and good!

Awesome place for pizza. Very unique with many different types of pies. They put honey out for you to add to the crust which is cool. And it tastes great. The pizza was fresh and the crust was very good. Was very thick yet it had a crispy crunch. The garlic bread was also very good. Highly recommend visiting here when your nearby.

We went here twice this last week with a big party both times, the food was excellent the service was fantastic they did a really great job. I will be taking friends and family here again.

Me and my friend Max attempted their Grand Sicilian Pizza Eating Challenge. 14lbs of pizza, 2 people, 1 hour. We did not succeed but had a great time. Staff was super friendly and pizza was delicious. Thank you so much!!!

Love it all! The staff here is really friendly and attentive. The pizza is always absolutely delicious and I love the wings. Delilah was very helpful today on my takeout order, And so was the blonde man who took my payment! :)
