Great spot to take your dog! There are trails as well as a large open field. Dogs can be off leash once they are 100 feet from the parking lot. I saw horse crossing signs, so I assume there are also horse friendly trails.

ahh, Fall!! the leaves have started changing and the beauty of the park is enhanced by the stunning colors from the huge variety of trees and foliage that surround the park.
there are numerous paths that are great for walking your dog, riding a bike or horse or just to take in the lovely autumn weather.
you can do a long or short walk by taking a short cut,
I do recommend good walking shoes, something that is waterproof is best as the real can be a little slick after the rain.

Great place to go for a short hike (2-3 miles, or less) with your dog off leash! There's a big gravel trail or more rugged trails through the woods if you prefer. Dogs tend to congregate at the polo field to play, like a dog park. Please pick up after your dog and make sure your dog is under voice control at all times so that we are able to keep dog friendly access to this great park!

Simply THE best dog park in Allegheny County. We live down the street from Riverview and it's (Riverview) not even worth the drive because it's so heavily littered with dog feces due to no trash cans. Sewickley park is well cared for and it's a park for responsible dog owners to enjoy. Worth a 20 minute drive here to enjoy this amazing clean park.

my fav hiking park. miles of real walks thru the woods... up and down hills, different types of trees and creeks. off leash area.... even miles of off-leash paths for hiking with my dog. not the same old tedious flat paved groomed walkways that montour trail has.

This isn't a bad place to take a nice walk. Make sure to avoid the horse poo and check out the abandoned building and its fireplace and the awesome steps there! Now, somebody tell me where to find the history of the structures that are nothing but remains now, please.

A beautiful place for a hike. Very moderate spots. As many places as we have hiked, I'm surprised this one got away for so long. An awesome find this summer. Will definitely be back.

I bring my dogs nearly every weekend. The trails are fairly well maintained, and very versatile as you could wander for hours, or just do a 15 minute loop. The dogs who run off leash in the main field are almost always very well behaved, and mine have made a few doggie friends playing there! Be warned, though, there is a mud pit/puddle in the middle of the field that my small dog lovvveeess to roll in. I think it could be easily levelled out, but no one who maintains the park has taken the initiative. Still, if you’re willing to let your dogs have fun and get a little dirty, this place is perfect for dogs and owners with good recall.

Such a nice park! Clean and big. And you can let your dog off lease 100 yards past the parking. Tons of nice trails. Some into the woods and some easier and more people friendly! Will be going here alot!

Huge park with miles of networked single/double track trails for hiking, biking, and horses. There is an open field in the middle of the park (dog park). Nothing is fenced in so ...dogs that run might want to avoid this place. Dogs are allowed off leash any where in the park except with in 100 feet of the parking lot areas.

I went for the off leash area and the whole park is off leash! You can walk the trails w your dog and there is no big fenced in mud pit! The only leash area is within 100 ft of the parking. Very nice 😊

This is a hidden treasure! There are plenty of things to do and they are all pet friendly. Take a hike on foot or grab your mountain bike and hit over 12 miles of trails. Grab your four legged best friend and run thru the field and down to a stream. There are even options for the equestrian adventurer. Highly recommend taking the time to stop.

Great place for a hike. Fantastic for dogs as they can run free (it's off leash). Love this place.

Absolutely love it here. Mostly all of it is off leash for your dog with tons of trails. I travel pretty far to bring the pup here.

Nice park but noone has their dogs on a leash! Trails were muddy and rutty. Pretty scenery!
