The Empire Lounge and Restaurant

Food was delicious! The only thing I would say is to go a little easy on the salt. I ordered the stake frites and the steak and fries were veryyy salty. It could have been the peppercorn sauce, but it was way too much. Other than that, the beef tartar appetizer was incredible! Brussel sprouts and burger as well! Staff was very friendly.

The Empire is my absolute favorite place to eat. I only have the chance to swing in here every couple of years on my visits to Colorado but I always make the trip and they never disappoint! This year was no exception, amazing food in a wonderful atmosphere. I will always make this a destination in my Colorado travels!

Absolutely fantastic, nice little patio setup outside. My lady and I stopped in just for desserts and coffee and it was just great. Service was quick and friendly and the food was top shelf. Recommended highly if you are in Louisville and looking for a unique little spot without breaking the bank.

Excellent food and service. The Paella was the winner with incredible depth of flavor.

When Empire came to East County over a decade ago they changed everything for us with excellence in dining. Today they still lead the way with innovative and delicious dishes, a casual atmosphere and top notch service. Always a favorite.

We have always had good service here, even though we have always gone during happy hour. They make a pretty good old fashion and we love their charcuterie.

I brought in my two kids and mother after a couple of hours ice-skating in downtown Louisville. My 3-year old daughter had a bit of a meltdown as we were getting seated- but the host found us a nice quiet corner of the restaurant while the manager went in back and fetched a couple slices of bread and some warm butter for her. My daughter perked right up at this gesture, and was all smiles and sunshine the rest of dinner. The staff made a wonderful effort with the kids throughout the meal. It isn't always easy to have a nice dining-out experience with two young children- but the staff at The Empire went way above and beyond to make our night.

Excellent spot in Downtown Louisville. All the food was excellent (and reasonably priced). The Ruben was the best I've had in a long while. The side salad was wonderful. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Will definitely be back.

I was not sure what to expect from the name and outside but a rich history seemed likely. The menu was varied and quite up to date. The roasted brussel sprouts were excellent. Server was stretched a little too thin but, was very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed The Empire. I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop and my wife got the pan seared chicken. Both were extremely good. The rainbow chard that came with my pork could have used a little acid, but otherwise was very tasty. The root veggies that came with the chicken were also very good. The kiddos enjoyed what they ordered. Dessert was phenomenal. I got the caramel custard which may be my new favorite dessert. My wife got the funnel cake which was also very good. Service was prompt, and very courteous. Overall great place and one of my favorites since we moved to Boulder. Would absolutely recommend.

So we started with appetizers the artichoke dip and deviled eggs are so good. Next was entrees tried my moms fish and chips and holy heck it was breaded perfectly. I had the steak which was top notch cut and cooked perfectly. Next was dessert the beignets were amazing and the cheesecake delicious.

Such good food, in a calm environment. The wait staff and kitchen crew are 100% on it in all aspects.

It's a relaxing spot. I just wish it was closer to my house so I could go there more often.

It's clean too and the minimalist design is amazing.

We've been to every restaurant in town repeatedly and our go-to is Empire, especially for lunch and happy hour. The food is excellent, the prices reasonable, and there is no better happy hour cocktail around. During the height of the pandemic Empire was the only restaurant contact tracing, which was really encouraging for eating out during a scary time. However, they never had to call anyone since they followed such good cleaning protocols etc. HIGHLY recommend if you're in Louisville.

Great service, great food, great location, great value. What's not to like?

Simply delicious. Every meal I've had there has been awesome. The menu is unique and exciting, with some classics in the mix. The cocktails are really damn good, and they have a pretty good beer selection. The staff in friendly, and it's just an all-around awesome place to go.

My wife and I had her office Christmas party here and it was great! Food was very good, service was really friendly and very attentive, drinks were really well made. I'd definitely go back for date night.

For the appetizers, they served an incredible charcuterie plate. I could have eaten that all night. Then for dinner, the smoked brisket was flavorful but slightly dry. The risotto entry was delicious!! The side dishes included salads that were perfect and beautiful, a red beet dish that was extremely good, and fingerling potatoes that were perfectly salted and cooked to a nice crisp outer skin. Then for dessert, they brought out small donut hole-sized beignets that were amazing.
