Half Fast Subs On The Hill

Great place for a quick meal. This last time around it took a while to get our sandwiches. We were pre-informed about the delay though.
They have ample space to sit, but it can get busy during certain times. They have outdoor seating also.
Their sandwiches are definitely worth a visit.

Went to this awesome sub sandwich restaurant for lunch while University of Colorado Boulder was on summer break. An amazing list of menu choices (with or without proteins) and three sizes of subs available: 4-, 7-, and 14-inches. Laid back atmosphere and friendly service. Lots of seats and tables inside as well as outside patio, but parking is on-street and can be a little tough to find. You won't be disappointed and very highly recommended!

Half Fast Subs will always be one of my go-to sandwich restaurants. The menu is huge and the variety of sandwiches is impressive. I always have a hard time choosing what to order but no matter what I decide it is always delicious. The service is also exceptional and the food never takes long. Definitely recommend for a local like me.

What did we park in front of? Man, let me tell you that this spot is absolutely OUTSTANDING‼ We grabbed a quick bite to eat before we went to the University of Colorado Buffaloes spring game. What a great choice we made‼ The menu board was so HUGH, I didn't even get it in the whole picture‼😆 You can get a 7 inch or a 14 inch sub warm or cold. I can tell you the service is top notch and subs were delicious‼‼‼ I didn't get a beer, but I did get a pitcher of a mixed punch drink called the N'awlins Hurricane.....Woooooo Weeeeee‼ This drink was ON POOOOOOINT‼ I will be back in Boulder from South Florida hopefully sometime during the regular college football season. This sub shop is a blessing for University of Colorado and the surrounding community‼ I was definitely throughly impressed‼ #SKOBUFFS 💯💪🏾🏈🦬😁

I love the vast collection they have. You can try a lot of different things.

They are not very expensive and the taste is good too. They have a big place inside to sit with large TVs where you can sit back, chill and eat. Definitely recommend this place on the hill for some subs.

I’ve been to this place many times while living in Boulder for the past eight years, and never once had it disappointed! I adore their BLT (though I can’t remember the name they have for that sandwich) and it’s always cooked to perfection. And their drinks are great too!

Favorite spot for hot sub sandwiches. If you like a hot pastrami, this is the place to get it in Boulder. The bread is crisp on the outside without being too crunchy. Hot soft bread, the right amount of mustard and pastrami cooked just right.

Awesome 7” and 14” subs, using very fresh veggies and meats! Definitely the best sub we have ever had! Reasonable prices, a TON of specialty subs choose from, a really big variety of specialty sodas and drinks, healthy drinks, energy drinks, and brews. Indoor and outdoor seating. Don’t let the long lines scare you from staying, they were SUPER fast!

It's one of the best local hot spots in most all of Boulder with the largest selection of tasty sandwiches/subs I've probably ever seen!! Terrific drink & food prices & wonderful friendly staff!!👍☺👍

They often play some great music imho & tends to draw in quite a crowd.☺ There's also a descent patio to accomodate with more room to enjoy inside or outside great beer/drinks, food & company!!😊

We stopped by here around 12:30 on a Sunday, and it wasn’t too busy. I ordered a Turkey Pesto and it was ready within 10 minutes. The turkey was delicious and the sliced mozzerella tasted really fresh. There is plenty of the seating, and the atmosphere (sports bar-esque) feels like it fits in a college town. I would highly recommend this place for a quick lunch.

An old favorite from my years living in the Boulder area. Here on vacation now and had to make a stop at Half Fast. Possibly the largest sub menu I've ever encountered, and definitely the largest variety of vegetarian sandwiches I've encountered. The shop is right in the heart of the university district and can be really busy at times, but it's worth the wait because the food is fantastic.

I can't even believe a 5 star since the Reuben sandwich wasn't on rye bread but what can I say? It really eased that good and I try a Reuben wherever I hear it's good. Great atmosphere, all kinds of people, fast, friendly and DELICIOUS!!!

The best subs I've had! I just had the regular half fast sub on French bread and didn't need anything more. It was fantastic and I would go again the next time I'm in Colorado

These are Tenders Parm and The Shiz, very good and highly recommend! They're also 14 inch which was way more than we needed, a 7 inch probably would have been plenty. Awesome vibe too.

Best sandwich I’v had in a very long time!!!

We catered from Half Fast for our party bus ride to Red Rocks. The subs were sensational and the service impeccable. I went back two days later for the Corned Beef. Best sandwich I’ve had in years!

So this my first time eating at Half Fast Subs, and I must say that my taste buds went on a journey like no other! Staff was alright, definitely not stellar. But I came for the food nothing more and nothing less! So if you are on the hill in Boulder and are looking for some fantastic subs hot or cold stop by and munch out!

I love the Thanksgiving meal in a sandwich. My only problem is I should have ordered the small, but I went with the medium and napped through the rest of my workday. (If my boss is reading this, I'm kidding. But it is a good amount of food.)

Location on The Hill is great for people watching. I only go there when CU is out for summer or winter break.

Absolutely amazing sub! Huge selection to fit everyone's tastes. Great drink specials too. Margarita pitchers are an awesome deal. Perfect hangout for cheap drinks and great food!
