Love this shop, one of my favorites for getting new plants. Sad to see it shut down, but I understand why the owners are tired. Definitely go before it’s closed!!

Angelo is extremely knowledgeable and help me put together a somewhat native Willow and dogwood planting. So excited! Definitely where you’ll find the most knowledgeable gardeners around.

I love western garden centers have been going there for years even used to buy my aquarium fish from them I'm not sure if they still have a fish dept but I like them because there local and not a big box store

I had gone to Lowe's and home depot and got no help at all. I left both disappointed. I was looking for window boxes and clips and flowers and I'm inexperienced in this. I found western and went in and found a cute little blonde lady in a hot pink shirt right away. I told her what I needed and she immediately took me to plants and explained them all to me and told me what would be best for my balcony. She kept my budget in mind as well as keeping it beautiful and easy for for me. Low maintenance. I spent more than planned only because I misjudged prices but I'm very happy with my purchase and experience I got at Western. I will be back.

We used to come here every year to select our Christmas tree...we recently moved to Minnesota and I couldn't remember what type of tree we used to purchase... The lady who answered the phone was kind enough to research and get me the info needed so we can find a similar tree here in Minnesota. The professionalism and knowledge of the staff continues to impress even from 1300 miles away.

Single handedly the best greenery store I've ever been to. Not only are the staff incredibly knowledgeable, but they're more than happy to help you, chat with you and even give you directions to some of their favorite spots in town!
I came in here with a specific plant in mind, and was instantly shown where they all were, along with instructions on how to water and care for them. I was shown other plants similar and then left to wander around and take in the beauty that was available for me to take home.
I walked out with only one plant, but was incredibly happy with it, and if all goes well the next few weeks, I plan on coming back for another!

Excellent selection of gardening plants, flowers and more! If you have a question of any kind there are experts to help. Tools, seeds, mulch, succulents and trees are all available. What a wonderful neighborhood store! They also have a gorgeous area where you can have your wedding!

One of the best plant nurseries in the area! My wife and I have little knowledge of gardening, and every year the staff is happy to help us get our small garden going. Expansive selection at an affordable price. Definitely a great place for your gardening needs.

Best garden store in the city! Huge choices of plants and other garden supplies. I even took some scouts for the Gardening merit badge. I bought all my vegetable plants there and they
are growing and blooming.

I am impressed by the quality of products at Western Gardens. Their service is good and their staff members are attentive and knowledgeable. Everything combined, I think Western Gardens offers the best nursery and gardening values in the Salt Lake area. I heartily recommend them!

Wonderful place to buy your plants and decoration for your garden and porch.
This time we even got some very exciting bug and pests prevention... an egg of a praying mantis, in about 10 days about 300 !!! baby's will come out of that egg and will get to work... Very exciting.

These people know plants, and know our climate. You'll pay just a bit more, but they'll help you find what will work, and help you understand how to take care of it better than any box store.
