The Burger Barn

Wandered in around 11:30am on a Friday. Seated right away. No idea what to expect. Ordered 3 different burgers, all tasted excellent! The one with fried cheese curds, deep fried pickled jalapeños and bacon won though. Duh!The salad was super fresh and the soup was also very good. Tried an Oreo milkshake and that was great as well.
We couldn’t finish half our meal. As we were packing up our leftovers, happily stuffed bellies, we all decided we needed to return before leaving town. What else can I say? Oh, very clean, from salad bar to bathrooms to staff who were also pleasant and attentive.

Not only is the place adorable and very clean. But the staff is wonderful, very friendly and the food is amazing. The cheese curds were so delicious. We both had burgers and we loved them. Quick service. Reasonably priced. And just an overall fun experience. Can’t wait to go back.🤗❤

Be ready for a surprise! The outside deceives you! Inside decor is so fun and welcoming. I had the BLT. Very good sandwich. Also tasted the burger wrap which was mighty tasty too! Our waitress was super friendly. We were able to move tables when we realized we could see the lake from the back of the restaurant. Also offered us a free refill on our strawberry lemonade to go which was super yummy!

Seriously amazing food! Literally the best cheese curds I’ve had! The service was amazing. The parking was easy. This place has it all- cute gifts & toys, the decor is charming and comfy, the service was perfect, the food was perfect and they even have ice cream to pick from and take with you! We will be back!

Definitely get the strawberry lemonade, it has real strawberries and lemons. Bacon cheeseburger did not disappoint. French fries with the barn sauce were also delicious. Was initially not interested based on the name, but it was worth the visit.

This was hands-down the best burger I have ever had in a very very long time. I also got a side of cheesecurds, oh my goodness were they delicious! It was so amazing! I want to keep going back and keep trying everything they have to offer! 😀

There is not many choices for food in small towns in northern Wisconsin. The Burger Barn was a great choice! Their loaded cheese curds with fries, onion rings, pulled pork & bbq sauce was amazing. Burgers were solid as well.
I’ll likely never get back here but I am glad I stopped tonight.

Excellent food and Strawberrry Lemonade! I hade the Chicken BBQ salad 🙌. Staff was nice and prompt.

One the best and juiciest chicken sandwiches we ever had!! Excellent customer service!! Recommended social distancing guidelines are followed and all customers seems to be happy with food and service. 😊😊

Had kids menu chicken strips (good), grilled cheese on sourdough (excellent) and the Porker (excellent).

The fantastic food disappeared from my plate!! Chocolate Malt, Onion Straws and a yummy mushroom swiss burger!! Great service!

Our dining experience was wonderful. Our waitress (I believe who's name was Kelly?) did a great job with customer service both waiting on tables and taking care of the till. She was extremely busy but kept her cool through it all. And the food was delicious as usual!

Highly recommend! The burgers were juicy and delicious! The homemade sauces were delectable and full of flavor. Very open and receptive to special order requests. Our server answered all our questions and those she was unable to answer, she sought out the answers from her team. The hostess and waitress were casual, yet professional, courteous and friendly. The owner even took time to show us around the restaurant! The Burger Barn is a very clean, organized and homely restaurant that I would recommend to anyone!

They’ve had a rough year, but we gave them another chance this evening. So happy to say we had such a nice dinner! Server was quick, but most important of all food tasted great and was hot. Always recommend the curds!!

They're back!! Had a great experience. Delicious juicy bacon cheese burger, hot fries and I LOVE the spicy barn sauce! Lots of great sauces. Very friendly, attentive service. New owner came by to say hello. We did have to wait a bit...but it was worth the wait. Don't forget the cow pie! Best chocolate chip cookie ever.

Truly a wonderful restaurant! Their food is fabulous & their cheese curds are the best in town. While you’re their make sure you try their chocolate chip cow pie! Nothing beats a huge warm chocolate chip cookie and ice cream after a burger & cheese curds. Oh also don’t forget to try their signature barn sauce. It’s delicious 😋

First of all, I have to say they have a wonderful soup/salad bar. The food is very delicious and of quality product! The deep fried cheese curds n onion straws are the best, you gotta try them! Their menu not only features the great food they serve but is interesting to read also, it's a newspaper with local area information. The wait staff is very efficient and friendly. Nice decor, friendly atmosphere too. I look forward to dining there every time I am in town.

Absolutely excellent! It is hard to exceed my expectations, but this place did it! I had the soup/salad bar and extremely pleased! My husband is VERY picky about his burgers and he thoroughly enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger. Excellent job Burger Barn, you hit a home run with the big window overlooking Lake Superior and serving exceptionally great food!
