Our House Bistro

We came for lunch on a whim and I was super excited to get a table because it has been a multi hour wait to get in for dinner, so I haven’t tried in a while. I ordered the Mediterranean Mac, and my partner got the burger. I didn’t love the olives in mine, but I think I just don’t like olives as much as I thought I did. I wish I’d thought to ask for red onion to be added, that would have been super delicious.

Four stars for atmosphere only because it’s usually quite windy/cold inside due to the unfortunate setup of the entryway, not sure anything can be done though :(

Came down from Montreal for some delicious mac and cheese. It definitely didn't disappoint. So many flavours to choose from and so many other delicious looking items on the menu. Portions are very generous and the drinks are amazing.

We had the witches brew and the butter beer mixed drink(I forget the exact name) and they were both phenomenal. Thank you to our server Ella for her warmth and hospitality. She is an amazing hostess!

We will definitely be going back next time we are in Winooski!!

Absolutely delicious mac and cheese. So many varieties - I had the poutine mac and it was life changing. Would highly recommend. Probably fine to share one between two people, unless you want leftovers!

While visiting my son and daughter-in-law in Vermont, they took me to Our House for dinner. I had the chicken Parmesan Mac which was excellent. Also, the best French fries I ever ate! Service was very good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere.

We got the fries, calamari, Lobster Mac and Crab Rangoon Mac.

The lobster Mac was really good, my only critic is maybe holding back on the salt in the lobster sauce since it’s already cheese.

The sweet chili on the crab Rangoon Mac is not a good addition in our opinion.

Besides the Crab Rangoon Mac we enjoyed everything else.

The mac and cheese here is awesome. There are so many different varieties to choose from. I settled on the brisket gouda mac, and it was good and filling. I plan on trying the sugar shack before I leave here.

Our first time in Vermont, came up from Long Island after being winter and snow deprived for 2 years. Came here for dinner last night and OMG, I have never had such amazing food in my life. Your clam chowder is out of this world and your lobster Mac&cheese the best I’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh and had so amazing flavor. Even our 8 month old gave the baby sign of approval. Lol. Our waitress was amazing. If we come back we will definitely be coming back to your restaurant.

Had an amazing time at Our House Bistro, our waitress Ella was awesome with her courteous & fun vibe. Had the Philly Cheese Steak Mac & Cheese...delicious. If you're ever in the area, you need to stop at this restaurant.

Jameson burger on special was phenomenal! Hailey was absolutely the sweetest!! She was kind and personable and gave me a good recommendation. I wasn’t made to feel weird being a solo diner at the bar so it was nice to feel comfortable while dining. I will be back for sure! Cheers!!

Epic Mac’n Cheese, decent price and good atmosphere

This is a hidden gem on Main Street. Reuben sandwich is probably the best we’ve ever had and the soup of the day which was squash was fabulous. They also had a great selection of beer.

May I say!!!! wow delicious! Great service today and some of the best modern pub food in Vermont. This place has the best french fries and the cheddar ale dip and the best tasting pretzel. Great mac and cheese too and so many different kinds. Great Winooski gem.

Great food, and great value- affordable and delicious food, which is very rare. And the place is so well decorated and has great ambience. The vintage and antique decorating style + vines are creative and add to the experience. Quick question- my mom has always been curious about the lunchboxes used for decoration- what’s the story behind that? :) A very cute place for a family outing, date or a meal with friends!

We cannot say enough about this neat, little bistro! We were looking for a place that was open and not too far from UVM. I called to make sure we could still go dine in since it was close to 7:30pm. The post stated closes at 8. The hostess said to come in as there were still people hanging out (it was also St. Patrick’s Day!☘) We rushed over (had to drive around a bit for parking spot) and were pleasantly surprised! This little place was full of memorabilia, including a large collection of antique lunch boxes from when we grew up in the 70s and 80s ! It was the coolest thing to see these surrounding the place. Ella even let us look over the menu for a bit (not what we expected since the kitchen was closing shortly) before taking our order and making the best cheeseburger and macncheese dish! In fact, there is a board on the wall that lists about 20 different kinds of Mac n cheeses! She even doodled a little leprechaun with a thank sign on our check. We will definitely be back to visit! If you have the chance, check this place out 👍

My daughter suggested Our House for breakfast and she was spot on. We really enjoyed our meals. The server was very pleasant. Our food came out nice and hot. I had delicious French toast with fruit and red bliss home fries; my wife had the grilled cheese and mushrooms with fries which she also liked; my daughter had the waffle and fries which she had plenty left over to go. VT maple syrup on the table and ketchup. The atmosphere was retro with old lunch boxes and records. My wife commented on how nice the place wear and hot beverage cups not being dinky. We can highly suggest having breakfast at Our House.

The farmhouse fries were incredible, the lobster Mac and cheese even better! Loaded with lobster and absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly, helpful and fast! Totally worth the hour drive.

For months, many people have told me about this place. I finally decided to make it happen. I ordered the lobster Mac(picture included. YUM!) Let's just say, you need to visit this place! It is well worth it! My friend ordered the lobster roll. With outdoor and indoor seating Our House Bistro is the location to be at!

Visiting Vermont with my boyfriend and we stopped in and enjoyed the food! He got BBQ Mac with grilled chicken, and I got the Jameson Brown Sugar Smash Burger with sweet potato fries🤤 overall, we both loved what we ordered :)

Quaint and tucked away in a great area of the winooski/burlington metro. Great food and such nice service. Their Poutine gives Canada a run for its money. They have some of the craftiest dishes of mac and cheese as well. Definitely worth a stop in.

Little bit of a wait when we arrived but so worth it!! Food was phenomenal!!! We will definitely be returning, we all loved our meals and the dessert was delicious 🤤
