Taco Wagon

Having spent 19 years in Albuquerque, breakfast burritos became a standard necessity to enjoy 3 or 4 times a week. So when we first moved to Denver we went on a mission to find a decent burrito that we could enjoy. Despite several options that we tested, that did have real green chile, we found that Taco Wagon met all our needs! You have to start with the chorizo breakfast burrito - if you're not experienced with green chile, do the mild or "half and half" instead of the "hot". Be sure to try the breakfast adovada burrito, not commonly found here - chunks of lean pork marinated in red chile. The real thing! And the price of $5.98 which includes tax may seem high, but my wife and I can share one easily. We've weighed them and they can be 3/4 of a pound!

I love lengua. I order it all the time. After 10 years of living in Los Angeles and Tucson, this was the best I've had. Large pieces of meat, cook to tender perfection and seasoned so well. I ordered hot and it was not extremely hot. Perfect!

Absolutely delicious! Just stopped by on recommendation and the quesadillas and the tacos are outstanding. Everything is freshly made and the prices are so cheap, you'll want to order tons!

I drive all the way down from Aurora, Co to eat here at least once a week! It’s about a 45 minute drive from my place but totally worth it. The Tacos Carnitas are my all-time favorite treat here but it is ALL GOOD! Thanks Taco Wagon for always being consistently delicious!!

Nice little taco truck. Great portions at a very good price. Delicious! Fast service for a quick bite. A few outside tables to enjoy food, if needed. Highly recommend.

The best place for street tacos in Lafayette. They give nice portions and the meat always is juicy and cooked to perfection. Even when they are super busy you’re in and out in no time. Best thing is for a food truck, you always know where they’ll be.

Greatest Mexican food truck in Lafeyette. Best breakfast burritos I think I've ever had. And it's right next to a Mexican market too so you can grab other things while you're at it. Great place all around

So I went to this Mexican place the other day. And I’m not Mexican. I’m Dutch. Yeah, I know. I’m very exotic. And I ordered a breakfast burrito. Because why not? It’s breakfast. And it’s a burrito. It’s two great things in one. And it was delicious. It was so good. I don’t know what they put in there. Eggs? Cheese? Chili? Magic? I don’t know. But it was amazing. And I’m not even a burrito expert. I’m just a guy who likes to eat. A lot. And I like to eat burritos. A lot. And this was one of the best burritos I ever had. And I’ve had a lot of burritos. Trust me. I know burritos. Well, not really. But I like them. A lot. Did I mention that?

Grew up with hole in the wall Mexican food in Arizona. This place brings it all back. Everything tastes amazing, it’s as hole in the wall as you can get. Smiling staff and decent prices coupled with awesome food. I’ll keep coming here

If you are looking for the best breakfast burrito anywhere in Lafayette, this is the place! I have been here a few times now, and every time my breakfast burrito has been amazing! I order my burrito with no meat and hot for the spice level. Each burrito is made to order, so you'll need to wait just a couple of minutes, but it is worth it! The burritos are big, the eggs and potatoes are perfectly cooked and you'll get just the right ratio of each, plus just the right amount of cheese melted in--just a bit, not too much! The green chile is delicious and is clearly made in-house. YUM! I love that you can get different heat levels for the green chile, though I definitely prefer the HOT (it's just right; lots of heat but not so painful you can't enjoy the burrito 😁). The gentlemen working here are always kind and your burrito will always be served with a smile! While I've only had breakfast here so far, I'm jonesing to come back for lunch to try the tacos on a weekend!!

Coming from AZ, Mexican food reigns supreme. Moving here has revealed a huge deficit in good Mexican Cuisine. The Taco Wagon Delivers! Period. Authentic. Fresh. Homemade. Love the Chili Relleno's & Tacos. I'll be back to taste the rest of the menu!

We just moved to Lafayette and have had to go looking for another place to get breakfast burritos. Took a little bit, but this is definitely the place. Only issue is that I keep forgetting to bring cash to tip yall when I get my burritos. I'll be better next time, thanks for the great food

The chorizo breakfast burrito is really good. Just the right amount of heat, smooth goes down easy. Perfect comfort food. Worth the drive.

The most delicious breakfast burritos in the area, without a doubt. I’ve probably eaten ~50 of the chicken breakfast burritos from here, and don’t think I’ll get tired of them anytime soon.

We make daily trips to the Taco Wagon. Fantastic, delicious food just a few steps away from our funeral home!

Me and my wife go there occasionally and we order 4 burritos and Chili fries. It typically costs $18-$22 depending on customized add ons.

Surprisingly real tacos with tons of flavor and spice. I thought the breakfast burritos were a bit bland but the family liked them. Still, I will dream about those tacos, especially the lingua.

About as tasty as it gets, and you get to sit outside. We keep coming back.
