Rene's Family Restaurant

Hubby and I was up visiting and wanted breakfast, we come across Rene's restaurant. It is awesome. Portions are great. If you leave hungry it's your fault. The prices are good. Food is amazing. The staff is all nice and friendly. Service is fast. Thank you Rene for a great breakfast.

My family and I came for brunch, I had breakfast, and they had lunch. The food was delicious! They took time on fresh cut fries and hash browns, I had a gyro omelet which was amazing! They added tziki sauce on the inside which helped blend with the saltiness of the feta cheese and gave the whole omelet a great flavor! While service may have been a little slow, the cleanliness and fresh flavors make it clearly a place that you come to enjoy a meal, not rush through it.

I have popped in and out over the past few years. Sometimes it's busy and occasionally it's just me ( I try to avoid the busy times like after the lunch crowd so I'm not surprised) , but service is always friendly and the food is good. It's a family run restaurant and it always is very clean, even when they are busy. The food is good, but honestly our best review is for breakfast. We mostly come for the great omelets and other breakfast foods. They taste great and the portions are perfect. I have used this a place to hang with my husband, meet for a business lunch and enjoy eating out with family and friends.

I suppose every place can off days, but so far I've hit it on all the right days!

This was my first dining experience at Rene's. I was there with my children, my parents, my sister, and her children. Party of 9 in all. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The food was wonderful - my kids have declared this is their new favorite restaurant. Several in our party had burgers and they were especially good. The server told us upon our asking that they hand patty their burgers to order from fresh ground beef and also hand cut their fries. The portions were generous and the price very fair. We will absolutely go back!

So, it's a little hole in the wall...went for breakfast. Coffee is a classic standard....no frills, just a good cup of Joe! Food was excellent. Fast service. It's family run so don't be surprised if the wait staff is very young! Worth the trip!

Absolutely love this place! Everything is made from scratch- including hollandaise sauce- I’d recommend the renes eggs Benedict for breakfast! Coffee refills are on point. If I have friends or family visiting, I always take them here for a good meal. Since everything is hand made and family run, it sometimes takes longer than a chain restaurant, but it’s well worth it! :)

Went here with the family. Forgot what mom and dad got, something chicken related. I got a cheeseburger and fries, sister got tuna melt with fries. Best burger I've had in ages! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice family owned diner

Absolutely phenomenal! The service was superb, the food was delicious and arrived promptly. The establishment is clean, cozy, and has some really neat old photos of East Berlin towards the rear entrance.

Give this place a try, support small businesses that need our support more than ever. You will not regret it. This is a smaller staff, so be patient and be kind because it is well worth your time!

Delicious! I had the wings, 2 piece chicken, crispy fries, coleslaw, and sweet tea. Big portions, home battered chicken, and handmade coleslaw made me very happy. My wife had the chicken sandwich and my daughter a cheeseburger both enjoyed it tremendously! Waitress was awesome!! Owner came out for a chat. What an absolutely lovely place.

My mom, sister and I went out for lunch and I had an amazing experience, from The food being absolutely amazing and the two owners being so friendly and caring about what you have to say. At the end of my experience me and my mom went to leave And Renee ran out to hand me my retainer which I left for dead in a napkin on the table. That is amazing service right there. I recommend this place 5000%!

We and our friends ate here twice while staying in the area. Nice clean family run place. The food was great and the broasted chicken was awesome. Crispy on the outside and moist and tender inside. If we lived here we would certainly support this.

Best pork chops Ever!! Sarah's pork chops were moist, tender and seasoned Perfect! I have never been disappointed with any meal in this establishment. Wonderful family and great food! Perfect way to end a busy work week with a relaxing meal! Those pork chops may move the ribeye out of first place!!!

We finally found the restaurant of
our dreams! Great food, clean restaurant and the friendliest atmosphere. We feel like we have an extended family. Do not hesitate to come here for the best food around.

The sizzling fajitas were awesome as was the service. The turkey club was served with tasty white bread and the right amount of bacon and mayo. They do a great job with straight forward family dining food. Nobody yelled at any of the servers when we were there (read other reviews) and it was a great experience in this historic restaurant.

Breakfast is awesome. They have the best French toast. Love the fajitas and crab cakes and Sarah's cakes, especially the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Service is always friendly.

The food at Rene’s was truly amazing. The menu was all confort food, and was extremely tasty. They let me make a weird food request and it tasted absolutely wonderful. The waitress was so nice. I‘be been there for both breakfast and lunch and all times I’ve been there it’s been nothing but great service and food.

Great place they do a great job to keep place clean, the food is great. Im a huge fan of mozzarella sticks they made some of the best I've had in awhile way better than some fast foods places that ive eaten at. Good sized portions for the price.

Great service, family owned, down home cooking! Our weekend breakfast spot. We live in Lake Meade so we needed a close convenient place for dine in and carry out. Never a disappointed.

The review you posted is utterly ridiculous and false. I have worked there since December and have never been yelled at. What you posted is about the family and not the business. If you have a personal problem with them deal with that personally. It has nothing to do with the restaurant. And it's cowardly for you not to use your real name. And you also need to learn proper language skills.
