A fun and well run bookstore with a great selection. The employees are knowledgeable and willing to help you find your next adventure or just converse. All the books are in great condition and they have great gifts for the book lover or writer. Definitely worth a stop!

We really enjoyed this eclectic little bookstore. There's a surprisingly large amount of literature for a relatively small space - and a great balance: classics, oddballs, bestsellers; a wide array of genres; authors large and small. Great prices for used books in largely good+ condition. It was good fun to pick out a wacky handful of books for a trip to the Boundary Waters. Bill Bryson, Chuck Palahniuk, and some obscure, goofy sci-fi? Yes please - and they can all be found here - especially if you go in expecting to find something for which you weren't looking.

What a wonderful establishment. Make sure you check out hours before hand. Only open a select few days. Interesting collections of numerous areas of paperback, hardcover, children’s teens and adult reading. Classics. Get to talk with Jill the owner and she is well versed in numerous areas. Jill Spinster is always good for a laugh or a good book recommendation. The store has a large variety of books and toys. And if there is a book you can't find she will find it for you. She always offers the best prices. Never super expensive and always a great quality. She don't take books that are smelly or damaged so you know what your buying is in great condition. If you have books you don't want anymore she will look through them and offer you store credit for them. The books she can't use she donates or brings them to goodwill.

Famtadtic local book shop! Stopped in with my kids during a vacation trip. The owner helped my 8-year old daughter find her favorite book and then let her have it for free. Can't ask for better than that!

Great place for books and Legos!! Jill is very special person and really takes the time to get to know her clients. You can tell reading and books are very important to Jill. She will take the time to read a book to help inspire a child or a developmental delayed adult. Jill will buy or exchange your gently used books. She is very
helpful in finding that perfect book or gift. Best of all the bookstore is pet friendly!! Well behaved pets welcome! Jill and Betty will bring a smile to all who stop in.

March 25th me and my girlfriend went down to Ashland for lunch and to just walk around the town and happened to walk into your bookstore and got a 30 minutes comedy and enjoyed walking around and looking at the books so I advise anyone else that goes down there,there's quite a variety of books in there and the lady that runs the counter is hilarious 😂😂😂😂

Jill Spinster is awesome and hilarious she's the owner. She has books of all kinds and will find whatever you are looking for. She sells books, comics, records and toys. She loves to read to the kids that come in. With COVID she is only open Fridays and Saturdays and masks are required. But it's always a great time in her store with her and Charlie her Weiner dog.

Extremely friendly, and great place to come. If your a book worm, definitely come here. They were so helpful and nicest people ever. I will definitely will return, highly recommend.
