Chelsea is the best great service kind person great at her job keep her at all cost we will be back to see her and enjoy this wonderful place

Stopped here at 1pm, had the place to ourselves! Very elegant carefully plated dishes. Atmosphere is still very casual. Crab lunch entree cake was great. We loved the solitude but they deserve more traffic from non-hotel patrons. Service was so polite.

Coworkers and I were at the hotel for an event - we stayed at the hotel and decided against going out just by simply seeing the 1863 bar at the hotel. It is aesthetically pleasing and just the right environment in Gettysburg. It’s not often that you have a great experience at a hotel bar but you cannot say that about 1863. We had the opportunity to be served by Tanya. She was absolutely amazing.
There is a professionalism and service provided that is unmatched elsewhere.
She took time with us, she gave us great drinks with an appropriate balance between amount of alcohol to mixer, had some great offerings, the presentation was on point and everything was done in a timely manner all while approaching close. I appreciated that she took the time to do everything with excellence. With 100% confidence, I can say that you will not be sad that you decided to “stay in” if going to 1863. It is a wonderful choice!

During our 2 night stay, we decided to try the restaurant. I was hesitant because in my experience, hotel restaurant food is usually limited menu, overpriced and mediocre quality at best. BUT my husband and I both had the 8oz Filet and they were cooked to perfection and FULL of flavor! The asparagus and carrots grilled beautifully and the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. Well worth the money, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food and drinks. The staff was great it was great having a place like this right in our hotel. Menu had something for everyone came out quick and delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced as was the food.

Had Thanksgiving dinner there. They offered two plates for dinner options. My husband and I had one of each. Turkey plate and a ham plate. I do not think it would have been possible to enjoy both dishes as much as we did! Surprising and exceptional! I would have put both of those meals up against some of the finest restaurants without hesitation. Our hats off to the chef and our waitress Cindy and the hostess Linda, for their excelllent service as well!
Wyndham should know that we will be staying as guests for our next visit to see grandma, because of our experience. Thank you again!

I have eaten here with my family on many occasions and have always been impressed with not only the food but the service as well. I highly recommend coming for holiday times at Easter, Mothers Day and Christmas. The menu changes regularly and they have great craft cocktails as well. The “Cable Car” is one of my favorites. The Gettysburg dining scene has become very competitive in the last ten years and the 1863 is certainly holding its own as one of the top dining destinations in Gettysburg!

Best kept secret of Gettysburg, hiding an amazing restaurant in the Wyndham hotel! I learned of this place from a man working at the Visitor Center. I mentioned that my husband and I just moved to town and wanted to know of any good places to eat. I was surprised when this was on the list and even more surprised when my husband and I went there and were amazed at how incredible the food was. We have become regulars, the breakfast is amazing and the dinners are always delicious. Everyone knows us and treats us very well. We really enjoyed the people and the food.

Shrimp corn chowder is to die for. Waitress was attentive. Not busy on a Friday night.

Lobed the service and the dinner. We both had a cocktail (martini n jack n ginger) plus split a house salad which was huge and the steamed shrimp. For entrees we had the NY Strip with potatoes n carrot asparagus mix plus a bannana bread pudfing and whisky ice cream sandwhich.

Food was great! We had the best time dining! Will definitely recommend.

The food here is outstanding. We went for the Thanksgiving Buffet. It did not disappoint.

Everything I ate was delicious. The wait staff was attentive and kind, and the decor was very nice.

Came here thinking we would be overpriced, but it was the opposite. Spent 50$ on 3 people, and got a free crab cake. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. 👍🏻👌🏻

It was great the wait staff was excellent, the food was awesome. It was clean, pleasent and I had a wonderful time.
