I have always loved Bay City Cycles! I recently had an exceptional experience I wanted to share. I stopped in hoping to get a new seat as I am starting to ride more frequently and longer distances. Nick took great care to help fit me with the right seat, install my new seat, adjust my seat height, check my seat and pedal position, go on a short test ride, etc. Then went over other equipment additions/changes I could consider in the future if I needed more adjustments but was not pushy and recommended I start with just the changes he made first. He provided me with tips for riding to help reduce my buttocks and foot symptoms I was experiencing. I knew I needed a new seat, but I cannot believe how much better I feel riding after the small tweaks he made for me along with the seat change. Now I can get out biking more often since I’m not in pain. I am extremely grateful for his knowledge and that we have our amazing local shop to provide these services! Thank you!

First, kudos to Trek.com for showing us a dealer who had the model and color of the Townie e-bike we were looking for. Bay City Cycles held the bike with our deposit as we live 1.5 hours away. Once there, I was allowed to test ride the bike, including a good hill. They threw in a water bottle and holder and mounted it. Associate was pleasant and answered all our questions. Price point is less than half of models with longer battery and other bells and whistles that I don’t need. It’s easy to operate the pedal assist, I love the way I can sit rather upright, seat is a larger comfortable size, and my feet are close to the ground when stopping. My first ride of 20 miles had hills, I used assist levels 1-3 and only used 20% of the battery. I can rejoin my bike group with my arthritic knee and easily keep up and go the distance. My Townie is a game changer!

We came in an saw two bikes we liked. Before we left the bikes we set up with the accessories they had in the store. Of course, we had to get a new bike rack. Karl and Nick almost ready our minds. We had a great experience.

I had a most excellent experience. I had a dream of getting an ebike for some time. The staff took the time to teach me about the bikes, made some adjustments after purchase and even installed my bike rack for me, offering to remove it for the winter if needed. I am loving my new bike. It was a big investment for me but I look at it as an investment in my health. I plan to start using it to commute to work. I would highly recommend Bay City Cycles. I have been doing business with them for more than 20 years.

This was my first time going to Bay City Cycle and what a great experience! Nick greeted me with a friendly wave and a contagious smile when I walked up to the shop. He was very helpful with offering to unload my bike when I arrived and showed me an easier way to load & travel with my bike when we were finished. He was knowledgeable and took time to show me what changes to make to my brakes so that I understood. My visit lasted about 10 minutes and I was back on my way. This kind of friendly experience is hardly seen/felt anymore.

Incredibly caring people! My family was visiting from out of town and my derailleur decided to explode. They were extremely helpful and accommodating of our situation. Very thankful for them staying late to get my bike running again!

Bay City Cycles is awesome. They've been able to answer all of my (many completely silly) questions about bikes and cool places in the area to ride them, and I've been able to get (or order) everything bike-related I've needed over the last few months (which has included everything from parts to tools to a killer new used bike for my lady). When they don't have something in stock, they've been more than helpful in getting the part I need.

Also rentals! They let me rent a fat bike every week for like two months before I was finally able to pull the trigger on my own, and they made the purchase and ordering process super easy. They're everything you could want from a friendly, neighborhood LBS!

Great selection of toddler helmets. Found a cool bike sculpture that doubled as a pizza cutter. Need to return to look for nice looking and practical accessories.

I took my FX3 in for a tune-up/cleaning and I could not be happier with the results. Excellent work at a competetive price.

Busted the chain on my bike, they got me fixed up in a jiffy! The sign is behind a tree. It's between the theatre and Bobs Factory Outlet.
