Ice Cream Therapy

Always enjoy getting ice cream here. Service staff are always pleasant and quick. Portion sizes are great for the prices. I would just wish they would tidy up the outside area. Overall, I would recommend if you're in the Ambridge area and want a cold treat!

This is THE PLACE FOR ICE CREAM! This is the best place ever for soft serve ice cream. They make ordering and eating ice cream fun! Everyone there is so fun and entertaining! Order the large twist cone. It's 15" tall! There are so many flavors of milkshakes you could practically have one each day of the month and never have the same one twice!
I'm going back for "the boston" a milkshake with a Sunday on top!
So stop anytime you are in Ambridge and get some "therapy"! We all need some!

First time going this evening and left with nothing negative to say about this place except a long line BUT that actually means its great and worth the wait! It really wasnt too bad of a wait to be honest.They accept debit cards too. Prices are very affordable, the servings were way above our expectations for not knowing and the variety is on point and so is the quality!

The staff are very friendly and the ice cream is really good. The prices are great and they have so many options to choose from. This was my first time and will def be back. Their cone sizes are bigger than normal; I got a kids size that would be at least a medium size anywhere else. They do accept cash or debit as well.

I love coming here as much as I can to get all the stamps on my card, I always get the same thing because I am absolutely addicted, bubble gum milkshake is my favorite ❤ they are always wonderful with great staff that makes awesome frozen treats at a surprisingly fast pace! Also the food truck they allow to operate on their lot makes some of the best tasting food I’ve ever had, I can’t stop coming back!

Ice cream therapy is not only THE BEST ice cream shop around, but it is a sanctuary of goodness! The owners are incredibly generous and have created a spot for the community of Ambridge to gather, connect, and spread joy. The owners go above and beyond to be kind and supportive to everyone who comes to their window. Ice cream therapy seriously is therapeutic! I always leave with a smile on my face and a happy belly. I am impressed with the endless milkshake options. I have so much fun trying new ones each visit. The prices are very fair and it is especially exciting when I stumble upon a "pay it forward" ice cream train. This place is GOOD VIBES and I highly recommend it for delicious ice cream treats and for an emotional uplift!

Hands downy favorite ice cream place! Great sizes and prices. Only soft serve but you can add toppings. I even prefer this over brusters.

We just stopped by and it was the BEST decision!! The ice cream is AMAZING!! I had a blueberry pearl slushie that changed my life. We will definitely make this a regular stop. The folks working are SUPER nice and friendly. I LOVE this place!!

Always good and always worth the trip down

Great ice cream shop, large portions, friendly staff, good prices and worth the wait! Never had a bad ice cream here. Truly a local spot in Ambridge! 10/10 would recommend to stop if you're in the area.

This ice cream shop is one of the greatest of all times and is a community oasis for Ambridge. I drive up from the city of Pittsburgh just to go to this place and its something I crave weekly. Not only are the ice cream products creative and inventive, but it is served with care and joy. No other ice cream shop in the area offers what this place does. It's a place where the community comes together. The long line is a testament to what they are offering. I was there once when a pay it forward train was going on...incredible kindness showed up and I feel it has everything to do with the vibes of the shop and the community following. The prices are beyond fair for the quantity and quality received. They even offer oat milk as a dairy alternative. My favorites at the shop include: classic sundae with chocolate sauce, strawberries, and whipped cream, and my new favorite is a chocolate matcha milkshake. Any one who is writing anything less than a five star needs to get a life.

Ice Cream Therapy is a public service. Lindsay, the owner, and her husband John are fixtures in the neighborhood and go above beyond in nurturing the Ambridge community. No one does it better. They are the cherry on top to my ice cream concoctions. The community is lucky to have them.

Ok, let’s start…. This is the best, no no no the very best ice cream place ever!!!! We have lived in the area all our lives but have never found ice cream therapy until this summer. We went on a hot summer night and the line was long. It went by fast and when it was our turn the employees were super nice and friendly. Any other place would have employees with attitudes if they had lines that long. The day we were there the owners had served ice cream at the local food soup kitchen. They were so excited and filled with joy from giving back to the community that it made me and my family happy. The ice cream we ordered was massive and we spent under $10. We have not gone to another ice cream place since we found Ice Cream Therapy. I can’t say enough about how cool this place is. I actually just saw that they had a cookout and gave out free hot dogs and hamburgers and had a DJ. How cool is that!! How many other ice cream places do that? I’m mad my family and I missed the party. Go get ice cream from here. You will not be mad. Awesome ice cream, awesome prices and best of all awesome owners who do good for the community. You can’t beat it. I already marked my calendar for March when they reopen!!

Only two places make Chocolate Milkshakes with chocolate ice cream. This is one of them. The owner, a fellow Virgo, gets it! And the medium soft serve is literally 8"+ tall not including the cone. We'll be spending more money and time here over the Summer!!! Prices are super good as well. Thanks Ice Cream Therapy lady and super cool friend running the place.

I always feel the love here! They go out of their way to make you feel like family. The ice cream comes are HUGE! No joke! The best thing to get is a Boston Shake (ice cream sundae on top of a milkshake). Check them out, you wont be disappointed.

The first ice cream shop I went to in Ambridge was, regrettably, not this one. There was horrible service, the owner herself was rude, and the prices were outrageous! After that, I had nearly given up hope for myself and my desert needs. Until one blessed day when I discovered this place. I had $10 bucks in my pocket and little hope that I would be able to afford such luxury as small business ice cream. Not only that, it was 9:59 and the shop closed at 10! Despite our evident crashing of their closing routine, the employees happily provided us with delicious, gigantic cones for $2.50 each !! The service was kind and happy to help and the sprinkles coated absolutely evenly. The store itself is adorably decorated and an amazing place to take pictures. If you want ice cream, go here!

A very nice family owned ice cream shop with great frozen treats and kind people.

Wow, just wow!!! The incredible flavors they offer are second only to their wonderful staff, who were kind, helpful and so sweet. I had an elderflower milkshake that was divine, can’t wait to come back!

Like yum...😋 They even give you the extra left over from mixing! This place is heaven 🥰👼

I love going here they are so nice and their ice cream is so big so get a small.
