Heisler's Market

I frequently went to Heisler’s years ago when my office was on Valleybrook Rd. I stopped in now that I’m back in the area and WOW have they expanded their menu and options!!! It’s wonderful. The soups are sooo good. My favorite is Friday - Wedding Soup with chicken and meatballs. I grab some garlic bread to throw in the air fryer along with some deli items for the weekend and it’s a one stop shop. The produce is great too. Not too ripe. So many delicious options. Hard to decide but my daughter and I love the broccoli salad. The tuna salad makes a great tuna melt. It’s hearty and not too much mayonnaise. Tiny little celery in the tuna salad adds a nice crunch. So many more things to try.

We hired Heislers for a post funeral luncheon and everything was perfect. The process was seamless, and the food was delicious. Especially the cheesy potatoes! In an anxious time the leftovers kept me fortified for a couple days 🤍

I love this market! They have EVERYTHING, including the most delicious baked goods and hot foods. The service is excellent too. I support this small business as often as possible.

I frequent this market often as some of my kids live nearby. They have great meats, good produce as it is kept fresh. Good Dairy selection. They sell local bakery breads, have a great deli with many selections. You can pick up a day or weeks worth of groceries, buy cakes and cookies, have sandwiches made to order or buy ready made. Grab a bottle of wine, or six pack. Truly they have a great assortment of just about anything you need. Convenient parking.

Very friendly. Very helpful. Well run. Well stocked.
I’m 76 with bad back they offer to take groceries to the car for me.
Some complaining about prices. As a single small store they pay a lot more for products that they offer. Thus they have extreme pressure to keep prices low. No gouging here.
The only thing they need to do is figure out how to clone Dave. He is amazing

I love this place! I go there for the prepared foods mainly. They always have three different soups and they are delicious. The hot foods are varied and also very good. It's a plus that there is a grocery store attached. There's a nice place to sit down if you are eating there. They have baked goods, very good pizza and a deli counter. Can't go wrong here!

Very clean environment. Prices are a little higher than the big box stores, as expected, but less than what you would expect. Great selection of everything from groceries, deli hot and cold, pre packaged foods to alcohol (wine and beer). Will definitely shop there again

Love this neighborhood market! The food is always so good and everyone is friendly. They did an awesome job on our daughter’s birthday cake, too!

Always a great selection of products, some that are hard to be found in the area like pork roll. Wonderful hot and salad bar with plenty of premade options for those in a hurry. Can be a little pricey but they tend to carry quality products.

I have used the bakery twice for special occasions and they have gone out of there way to help me. They ordered a special cookie cutter for the occasion and pre made sample cookies that were fabulous. The cookies were delicious and so precious there were none left. I walked into the market at 5:30 on a Friday and they were able to make a special order for me by 1 pm on Saturday of their delicious shortbread cutout cookies. The baker is so great to work with and her cookies are the best.

Heistlers Market is a great local grocery store and eatery. I go here frequently for lunch take out. Employees here are all fantastic and go above and beyond to assist you whatever you need. Selections are good and the store has an extensive gluten free section as well as vegetables section. Higher priced than your local Giant Eagle Store but their closer (to me) better easier parking and staff members that are great to deal with.

Picked up my weekly Saturday lobster roll and was pleasantly surprised to see this great store now stocks great local honey—and mustards—from Pittsburgh Honey! I love their Acacia in my coffee and a spoonful of their Hot Rod Honey makes my Makers Mark sizzle. Now I can add that their Hot mustard made a great lobster roll even better! Anyway, great store, service, and always great local products and home cooked meals.

I absolutely love Heislers Market. They have so many organic and clean eating options. Plus I love the small size, because it's easy to do an entire shopping trip in under 30 minutes. Their deli and salad bar always has fresh, delicious options to try. I rarely shop anywhere else.

Really cool place. My sister and brother in law told us to go here for years, we finally went and regretted all the lost time! It's a relatively small market, but the quality and selection is outstanding otherwise. Think Market District Express, but family owned so no corporate feel.

Delicious! It can be crowded here for breakfast, but I highly recommend stopping in for a sit-down meal. Also, a nice lunch option - especially if you work nearby. Desserts are can't miss!

Excellent salad bar, hot buffet, grab & go foods with quick checkout. An expanded dining area was added for eat-in, and they now have a beer and wine section. Ample free parking.

Convenient market tucked in the midst McMurray. They have expanded their prepared food selections and the eat in area over the past few years. The grocery selections are not on the scale of the larger grocers, but they have the necessities plus some.

This small grocery store was able to get my parents their groceries the same day!!!! I have been trying instacart and giant eagle for days and they are unable to help. My brother suggested this market and they were able to help my parents who are in their 80's! Thank you to Chris for being so amazing and now you have a loyal customer for life. THANK YOU!

I love the baked good, Hot food, and everything else! I love how there soup changes every day. The cookies are delicious and the food bar is good.
