A friend had a surgery here. I drove them to and from the appointment. I have been blown away by the staff. Patient, kind. Compassionate and professional. So many rules can cause your head to spin, but the kindhearted attitude that flows through the whole organization is unparalleled. I feel so grateful!

The buildings are also very clean and nicely decorated. Pleasant experience to be here.

I got hungry while I was there. I was encouraged not to leave so I visited the cafeteria reluctantly. I was amazed at the quality and variety but even more surprised at the low cost. If I lived in Ashland, I would make this a favorite place to eat alone or with friends. Not sure if they allow that, but I was impressed!

My whole impression of hospitals has changed. I hope other hospitals do what they are doing. It’s a good change.

Memorial Medical Center is a fantastic place to receive excellent care. The staff are all so wonderful and they treat you like family. The food in the cafeteria is great as well! Parking is simple, and it’s great to not have to drive to Duluth. Highly recommend for any medical needs.

Had to go to urgent care for my daughter today. Alivia lpn and Mr. Thewis NP were amazing. My daughter has big fears about getting nasal and throat swabs. Alivia showed the patience of a saint and came prepared with a popsicle. Awesome teamwork and service.

I crossed paths with five MMC staff on Monday, July 11, 2022. All of them were so pleasant!

They were efficient and evidently competent. Ms. Michelle L. Riley, NP-C and Ms. Debbie O’Connor, LPN relieved me of a severe health concern.

I thank Ms. O’Connor for her excellent bedside manner, putting me at ease and her explanations. I am grateful to Ms. Riley for listening and ordering an effective medication that alleviated my discomfort!

Regretfully, I was unable to note the gentleman nurse’s name, the young lady responsible fir intakes and the lady who screened me.

Should you be in the Ashland, WI area and have a health emergency, the medical staff of MMC are there to make you feel better!!!

Went in to the ER. I was seen quickly and the doctor had a great bedside manner and the nurses and PAs were all great and super friendly. They went more in depth than my Primary Physician and found out what was actually wrong. I'm feeling much better and have a better plan for my future health.

Not from the area and had to use the urgent care after my daughter split chin open on playground. Probably the best experience we have had at any doctor. Staff and receptionist were amazing. She was in and out in no time and everyone knew exactly how to handle a child. So happy with my experience here

I had to visit ER due to dislocated hip. Everyone was very kind from receptionist to nurses, to the physician. As a former nurse I CC was impressed with professionalism and patient care.

After having a biopsy done and the stiches removed the scar came open a week later. So I stopped the bleeding and went to the MMC emergency room hoping for a better experience then last time!. Just like my last experince it seemed to me that basic common sense approaches to an open wound like antibacterial and butterfly strips to close the wound. To start the healing process again we're ignored. I explained that im prone to infections due to a auto immune issues. I was sent on my way with no supplies. No antibiotics. Something tells me that I am not the only one feeling under served. Once again I feel like driving 65 miles to Duluth Essentia Er would have been a better option. I would love to know if my experience meets standard guideline recommendations set forth by the medical community. Also my review from 3 months ago is gone. wonder if this one is going disappear to?

I was traveling thru the area and went to Memorial Medical for a health concern. Every person I encountered from the greeter at the door, the registration person, nurses, lab technicians were professional and caring. They took time to explain everything and we’re very helpful. I can’t say enough about how well they treated me.

I just had a partial knee replacement. Dr. Cummings and the entire MMC staff could not have done a better job of pre-surgery care, surgery, or post-surgery care. I was given excellent instruction and care. Colene Lee

I had a total hip replacement 6/11/19. Every employee I came across from the moment I walked in was above and beyond kind and helpful. I followed my surgeon to Ashland, Dr. CUMMINS and it is obvious why he chose MMC. Just some of the names I remember and I know anesthesia has effected my memory: Jaque, Shawn, Laura, Nancy 1 and Nancy 2, Mike, Ashlee, Jess, Tots, Betty, Sue and countless more.Every employee before leaving my room always asked what more could they do or get. The facility was gorgeous, private rooms. Well worth my travel and I will choose MMC for my second total hip and recommend them 100% to all family and friends. They also rolled out a new program called Welbe that sent me emails, care information and videos of their staff and facility so I would know everything to expect and what it would look like. Loved everyone there and MMC. Well done to all involved in making your business model all about patient care and comfort. Your own employees sang your praises. When people, employees feel valued, they work harder, and it showed through. Thank you so much:)

I really was nervous about my daughter's surgery, sistrunk procedure. The staff were wonderful, the surgeon skilled, and the facilities were beautiful. I am thankful for modern medicine and access to well funded hospitals.

Compassionate and professional care for both me and my husband the week before he passed from cancer. And ongoing and greatly appreciated help from hospice and behavioral health. I am forever in their debt.

Every nurse and doctor I’ve ever had was caring and loving! They seem like they actually really enjoy their job! I will never go anywhere else!

I moved to this area from Iowa. Two days here and I found myself very ill and in pain. Not knowing a soul here, I managed to find MMC. They were beyond compassionate and made me feel like I was the only patient there! Very impressed!

I had to go to the ER yesterday and was so impressed by the staff. Everyone from the nurses, doctors, MRI were excellent and showed kindness and respect.

The staff here is great. Short version is I drove to the ER and they saved my life. Outstanding care, outstanding staff.

Great staff and updated facility. I am also impressed by MMC's involvement in the community with free educational resources like breastfeeding and childbirth education classes. I'm glad we have a facility like MMC in town!!

Wonderful nursing staff. 4 or nurses I have no complaints on not a 1.
