Rt. 8 Auto Service

This is a great place. Nice people. Justin helped me get my new wheels and tires on and then had some difficulty going down the road so I turned around and we took the front tires off and checked them on the balancer and come too find out the belts were snapped on the front tires. The had the perfect size tires for my truck and hooked me up with some new treads!! Great place and great service guys!! Definitely would recommend %100 if you are in need of service to your vehicle!

Justin and Dave + the whole team at Rte 8 auto are so helpful and have worked on 4 different cars (in various states of repair) for our family for a few years now. They majorly helped me out when my car was needing repairs at a different shop and helped me navigate their parts warranty program for a part that was still under warranty. I also really like the detailed report that they provide when getting your car inspected there, showing the status of all parts of the inspection. They have gone out of their way to be helpful with even the smallest issues (couldn’t get my license plate off from screws being rusty/stripped and they did it for me in about 30 seconds!) and even additional help to rent U-Hauls from their location. I fully trust them with any car repair and recommend anyone in the area to get all their car repairs done there

My daughter broke down 45 minutes away so googled shops near her location and Rt 8 came up with rave reviews. Was able to get the car over there, put keys in Dropbox with description of problem. Called in the morning spoke with Justin who was fantastic. He called me with results of diagnostic test and got it fixed promptly. Extremely happy and will be worth the 45 minute drive to continue service with Rt 8!!!!!

How nice to visit a garage that is Customer-Centric and highly professional. The work done on my GMC Envoy was top notch, thorough and completed as promised. I highly recommend! So very happy with the end result.

This is a great shop. My husband’s car stopped in the turn lane at the Mars High School. They’ve never taken care of his car before, but they’ve inspected my Tacoma, so I knew they’d do a good job. He dropped off the car and left a voicemail. They replaced the alternator and battery, and we had the car back in two days. We were expecting it to take longer because we dropped off without an appointment. The price was reasonable, and the turn around time was fast.
I recommend.

They always tell you a price before they get started, unlike other places, they are always fast and friendly. I have never gotten a surprise from them. They always let you know what they think should be done if needed and do not up-sell things that are not needed.

Great service! The guys here are always so helpful and know what they are doing, dropped my jeep off in the morning before work and was ready for me before I was done. Just needed my inspection and emissions done and they noticed I had a small marker light out and replaced it. Great service and people!

This place is great. They work hard and fast. I think the best thing about this place is they reach out after a day or so and make sure the they did was satisfactory. Will be coming back.

Fixed a broken motor mount on my Mini. Was quoted a price 3 times what Route 8 charged. Finished in 2days!

Dropped my car off before work to have it inspected. They called me during the day, and said that the car had passed inspection, but the tires could use to be balanced. While I was on the phone with them, I informed them that I had a slow leak in one of the tires as well. They gave me a price for all the work and told me it would be done by the end of the day. After work, I went and picked up my car, left them a check in their secure drop box, and then returned home. All the repairs were completed as stated, and I never had to take any time off at work. Excellent customer service, and very good prices!!! RT. 8 auto service has definitely earned my business! Thanks again guys! I really appreciate it!

I recently moved a needed to find a new shop. These guys were fantastic! Got me in quickly, called with an overview of the issues and pricing and had my SUV done by the end of the day. Highly recommend!

My clutch pedal went straight to the floor without return leaving me stranded on a Tuesday afternoon and by Friday afternoon they had called me to let me know the repair was finished.

Honest and fair, the problem I expected was exactly what was wrong and they resolved the issue (clutch slave cylinder).

I previously worked in the automotive industry for almost 10 years, I won't hesitate to use them again!

I called them needing oil change, headlight repairs, and state inspection. The initially were looking at a few days out but when hearing i had headlights out they moved the schedule around so they could accommodate me same day. I could tell from the start they really care about their customers. They had be ready the next morning with everything and made multiple calls to ensure I understood pricing and what was needed.

This was so awesome to see in a very close local business. I will definitely be using them going forward for all my auto needs.

They also helped me with a U-Haul rental and made the process super easy.
