Schuylkill River Trail Parking

Date of visit: Friday September 15, 2023. This parking lot is close to home for me. The lot is unpaved and very crunchy unlike the Ridgewood trail lot which is paved. No facilities at this location such as porta-potty or an air pump. If you get hungry or want something to eat there's Turkey Hill across the street.

Moderately trafficked area, and also a common spot for local police to hang out since the intersection is right next to it. So peace of mind when parking here knowing that my car is less likely to be broken into or anything

It's a good place to park unless there is a baseball game. It gets very full.

Would not recommend if you're driving in with a low-ride vehicle, as there's quite a drop from the roadway onto the gravel lot and there's potholes. But it's a decent little parking area that links the gravel trail portion to the roadway trail portion.

This is a small gravel parking lot at the end of an off road section of the trail. There are often puddles too.
