Windsor Station Restaurant & Barroom

My husband and I made a reservation here on a whim based on our Airbnb host’s recommendation. We enjoyed ourselves so much! The building itself is so cool and the ambiance was perfect- not to loud and dimmed lights. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate from start to finish. The maple butter that came with the bread was amazing, and we had the meatballs and ricotta to start with (pictured below and to die for). We each got a different burger, cooked different ways, which was done correctly and exactly how we like them. The orange brown sugar cheesecake was delicious, we had trouble deciding which dessert to get because they all sounded so good. Service was fantastic, from the host to the server, and our bill was extremely reasonable. I’m sad we’re just passing through because I’d love to eat here many more times!

I had an incredible dining experience at Windsor Station Restaurant in Windsor, Vermont! From the best-ever cocktails to the delicious made-in-house food to the warm and wonderful service from Mark, we were wowed! Bonus points for the ambience of trains passing through the station and the featured menu/drink items being stellar. A highlight of our trip!

Cozy place with the history and comfort food. Offers kids menu and huge portions for kids and adults. We ordered a full size calamari, full size mussels and a burger to share for two people and could not finish all the food 😅 By the way, mussels had an amazing broth, sort of sweet and sour/thai like.
The staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere was great! Really happy we were able to get a reservation on a very short notice and dine there.

Amazing dining experience was had by our group of four. Kristin M. was an incredible waitress. She was so pleasant and attentive to details. It was hard to decide what to order because of all the enticing options but we selected the Chicken Valdostana. The wait was worth every minute as this dish was delightful with a wonderful blend of flavors. The Station Master salad was yummy with crisp fresh ingredients. The piping hot bread with maple butter was a welcoming start to our meal. I also have to mention how nice the Hostess was when I stopped by to make a reservation earlier in the evening. As you can see we all highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely amazing experience here with our party of 7! It's a cool, quaint setting (in an old train station). The tables can seem close together, but the service was top notch across the board and the food was even better. Everything at the table from the appetizers to entrees were all absolutely delicious!! I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. Give the buffalo wings and ribs (if they have them!) a try, you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is a must if you are in the area. The online reservation was very easy to use. We were seated immediately upon arriving and greeted by our server Mark, who was a friend by the end of our dinner. He was polite, very knowledgeable about the history of the station and the menu. We were served warm bread with maple butter that was very good. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala and for me the Filet Mignon. Both dishes were quite possibly the best meals we have ever had. The chicken and filet melted in our mouth, the mashed potatoes were creamy and the vegetables cooked perfectly. We don’t usually order dessert, but decided to share their famous chocolate cream pie and carrot cake with Maple frosting, both were so delicious. What an amazing meal along with superb service all at a very reasonable cost. Well done, we will be back.

In one word - AMAZING experience. The ambience, the service and the delicious food formed into a perfect dinner experience for our family. Loved the drinks, the flavorful food and not to forget our server, with a bubbly friendly personality who connected so well with our kids. Fantastic food on the way up to Stowe - would be a destination on its own given cool decor/history of building. Such kind service and in terms of food - maple butter with bread basket and special ragu pasta were incredible. Burgers and wings also delicious. Highly recommend, and simple to reserve a table online.

Fabulous! I love the ambiance in this restaurant, it's an old train station that has been refurbished and is so beautiful! The setup is great, the bar section and seating on that side is separated from another room of seating. The menu is always great and the desserts are divine. 👌😉🫶

Excellent service very friendly staff. Food was good. Appetizers are small and had us nervous for the entrees which came out and are gigantic. Even the half sized pasta dishes are big.

Positively wonderful dinner had at the Windsor Station and Restaurant! Our server Mark was well adept at his vocation, helped us navigate the menu, and made us out-of-town-ers feel welcome in this local gem. Beautiful decor and atmosphere inside. I would highly recommend a meal at this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Really good atmosphere, super service and awesome food. Loved the wings and eggplant appetizer. Ravioli and Chicken parm hit the spot too. With an excellent crime brûlée to finish. Very satisfying. Ambiance is very nice too.

High quality ingredients, perfectly prepared with a menu that includes an affordable range of price points. The service is five star and welcoming. Be sure to call ahead and get reservations!

All aboard?? It’s a train I would wanna take again. And I thought the best pasta I had was in Florence, Italy. Well, their Mac and cheese is at the same level. Maple butter and fresh bread (I would prefer warm) are sublime. Fish and chips were very good as well. Please try the chocolate cream pie. So good!!! Stuff super friendly. Very good experience.

Awesome place with great service, food, drinks and ambiance. Plenty of outdoor seating. The homemade veggie burger was perfect. Can’t wait to try some of the other menu items :)

This is a former railway terminal that was converted to a restaurant. The decor and feel captures the essence of the terminal. The food here is phenomenal as well as the service. It does take some time to get your meal, however it is well worth the wait
