Amazing gorge view that can be enjoyed from the top. Water streams between the rocks look gorgeous. You should definitely see both sides of the gorge from the top. The sight with the hill in the front looks stunning.

There is also a hiking trail from the visitor centre parking to go down to the river

This was a quick stop for us. Pulled into the parking lot, short 2 minute walk onto the bridge to view the gorge. They also have holes for taking photos in the fence. There is also a pedestrian crossing on both ends of the bridge. A fun little stop and a gift store is there.

It was extremely icy, luckily we had crampons or we couldn't do it. Lake was frozen and safe to explore. Trail under bridge was closed. Beautiful views, good short hike.

What a lovely day we had at Quechee Gorge! We started out grabbing water shoes from the visitor center and hiked down to the water. We all enjoyed swimming in the cool water and climbing on the rocks. What a relaxing morning! Then we hiked back up and crossed the bridge for some beautiful views of the gorge from high above! They call this “Vermonts Grand Canyon” and it truly is magnificent. So glad we came!

Lovely view of the gorgeous from the bridge. There is a path below that is easily accessed from the parking lot. It's not handicap accessible, though. There are stairs down and up to access trail under the bridge.

Short but step hike through the woods down to the river. Saw a blue heron feeding on fish down there on the other side that wasn't startled by us in the least because he was so focused on the food. It was majestic to watch him! pictures from the top weren't nearly as striking as the ones from the bottom IMHO. Been here a few times but it's just so spectacular every time! And every season is different. These were taken in August of 2022.

Gorgeous view from the bridge although it sucks for pictures because of the high fence. Trail to dam was closed, but trail to bottom of gorge was open and worth taking it. Short walk on compacted dirt, downhill first going from entrance next to the bridge and shop then uphill going back to the top. Beautiful views from the bottom, many people swimming, lots of rocks. Didn't have time to explore other trails or get in the water but I'm sure it's all worth it.

No trip to Quechee is complete without a visit to the Quechee Gorge Bridge. Spectacular views of the green mountains and the valley below. Even though there's a high fence for safety, they have cut outs in the center to capture some great photos. Make sure to securely hold on to the phones and cameras while taking photos as it could get quite windy. Don't forget to soak in the view from both sides of the Gorge. There's also a gift shop near by offering Gorge and Quechee merchandise. Multiple hike trails from Gorge to the valley below is also a fun experience although it can be a steep climb back up.

Very nice hike, we started from the campground and went up to Dewey Landing, and back. 3.67 miles, easy miles

This is another example of God showing off His beautiful paint brush. A must see area with a small hike to wake up the legs!

Quechee gorge bridge is one of the main attractions in fall colours . From this bridge you can see amazing fall colours with water stream. There is also small trail that you can do and go down to the water. We went there at sunset time and we witnessed the great views

Great stop, gift store nearby, and wonderful views of this natural wonder. A DEEP gorge and views well over 100 feet from this bridge. Great alignment for sunset photos as well. Plenty of parking, easy access for wheelchairs too. Near the path down the gorge, but we saved that for another day.

I walked down the Gorge for the first time 12 yrs ago and it still is amazing! A must experience and nature at its best! Learning experience for the kids with many facets but to see the glacial marks in the stone is a visual not to miss. Enjoy!

Very beautiful location! I Stop by every time I come to Woodstock Vermont or when I’m driving to New Hampshire. The view from the bridge is absolutely breathtaking. Especially after a heavy rain or a snowstorm, the Gorge is stunning. I really have no idea how this google rating isn’t a perfect 5 star rating. The area is always spotless and well maintained. I would love to plan a couple night stay in the campsites right next to it, in the future.

The Quechee Gorge is beautiful! It actually made me a little nervous with how deep the gorge is! It’s beautiful and worth the stop! Just make sure you’re careful as the road is very busy! Oh there are also little slots in the fence that allow you to get better views and to take unobstructed pictures.

Beautiful sightseeing stop. Park near the top of the bridge and walk over for a great view. Paths to the dam to the west and downstream to the east. If you walk down hill to the east you are allowed out on the rocks around the river and can swim in the river. The hill is fairly steep but there are many place to sit along the way if you need to catch your breath. Good balance a must on the rocks going down to and out on the river. We did not camp but camping is available very near by.
