Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salt Lake City West Valley, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here lots of times. We always get exceptional service. My kids love the breakfast and the pool area. Tonight id like to thank Joseph.my mother in-law left her bags in the lobby and someone took them. He found the bags and the person that took them. He goes so above and beyond for his guest. Every single time Joseph and the girls at the front desk are always wonderful to us. I stayed at many hotels in my life but we always stay here the service and front staff are outstanding.

Relaxing, great pool area! Attractive property. Great breakfast! I love the eggs white omelettes and biscuits and gravy. I know they are at opposite on the healthy scale, but both are delicious! A great place to stay. Great value!

We have been traveling across country and I can say I've never received such amazing service from any of the 8 hotels we've stayed at like Joseph and Rachel. They have went about and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted like we've been here 1,000 times. They have made sure we have everything we needed to feel like we are home. The room was extremely clean and beautiful. The water park was a absolute blast and even us adults had a great time going down the slide. I can't say enough how happy we are with this stay and would totally recommend it to anyone. Thank you guys a ton for taking such great care of my family!

When traveling weither in the air or on the road, this hotel is a very nice place to unwind and stretch your legs. It has a hug pool with a play area for little ones and hit tube for the adults. This place is pretty clean and cosy as well.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot shower, and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again. Kudos to Anna, Paula, and Julissa.

Staff was super friendly rooms were clean and spacious. Would stay here again and reccomend highly. Only downside is their parking lot and entrance is rough to navigate.

We took our two young kids, ages 3 and 6, to this hotel for a two night stay. My 6 year old stayed in the pool for literally 4 hours straight the first night. He especially loved the big slide. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We also searched some activities close by and found the Discovery Gateway Children's museum and a Dave & Buster's. This hotel was only about 15 minutes from the museum and our kids spent a good chunk of time there the next day. After the museum, we headed back to the hotel for another 2-3 hours in the pool. The breakfast in the morning was biscuits & gravy, pancakes, cheesy omelets, bacon and sausage. They had a few other items as well. Good enough that neither of our picky eaters complained! Room was clean and spacious. Overall, we're very pleased with our stay here.

Joseph at the front desk is phenomenal! We needed extra blankets and my daughter went to get them. He did not over look her or my son, checked drying time on newly cleaned blankets and engaged while they waited. My daughter was so impressed that she had to tell me all about it. If you see Joseph tell him thank you and Keep up the excellent service! You made our trip! 10 stars 🌟 for Joseph!

Without a doubt one of the cleanest hotels I have been at in years. The staff was polite and friendly, very nice people! The room was spotless! Bathroom was full of towels and clean as as well. Breakfast was well stocked with plenty of hot food and a nice selection for everything. The pool is fun for my grandkids and the area was clean as well. I will be returning soon to SLC and we WILL stay here again. I travel a ton in my job and I know the difference. Well done. 6 Stars!

Loved staying here, we were treated so well and every single person that works here was so kind to us and our little ones. The pool, hot tub, and water slide were awesome. We especially loved the splash area for kids, the entire kids area is a foot deep and perfect for little kids.
The breakfast was amazing, each morning we had fresh pancakes and delicious biscuits and gravy, tons of snacks and drinks as well.
We will definitely be coming back and making this one of our preferred hotels because of the fun time our kids had.

A fun hotel for families.

The pool facility is really the attraction here for families. A super fun water slide (height restricton) and a smaller slide and water play rea for toddlers. There is a jacuzzi too for parents to rest. However, if you are on business and are looking for a quiet pool to rest you won't find it here.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. There are two buildings dividing up those from suite rooms to traditional rooms.

Breakfast was a great experience. Clean dinning room. Various hot and cold breakfast options. Weekdays close half hour sooner than weekends.

The location of the hotel is conveniently located near the maverick center/arena. However, during my visit construction was going on around the hotel property so arriving at the hotel was a bit challenging. I would recommend parking in front of the hotel (between the two buildings). Parking exist behind the hotel but there seems to be no oversight nor lighting.

After a terrible experience at a luxury hotel downtown salt lake City we were glad to be here. The beds were comfortable the staff for nice and the kids had a blast at the indoor water park. Even I tried to slide that I had so much fun we really did enjoy our stay a lot more here than we did in a luxury hotel.

The staff is super accommodating. Breakfast was really taste. And they provided a Porta crib. Our rooms were very clean, we enjoy staying at this hotel. And definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Salt Lake city. Definitely love having the pool and slide and hot tub. We had an awesome time and can't wait till we come back.

Pretty run down, but nobody really cared cause the pool and slide is where it's at!!! We'll totally stay there again it was awesome!

Would highly recommend!! The bed was so comfortable! Best night of sleep I've gotten in a long time! The room was nice and the bathroom had Dove products to use. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to go to the pool and hot tub, but next time! Everything was clean and perfect for our night stay!

Our family was heading to Las Vegas from Canada and we decided to stop over here as a mid point break to rest and the kids enjoyed themselves, they had such an amazing time in the pool and on the slide
They wanted to stay again on our way back home and we did
The service was excellent!!
They have a great selection of items for breakfast and once something is finished then they quickly restock it

Great property! Fantastic staff! Great breakfast 🥞. The pancake maker machine is fun to watch. Great food! I highly recommend this hotel!

I had a a customer contact me on 06/20/2023, Stating she was charged 3× for a six hour stay @ the Salt Lake City Holiday inn express east airport. She returned to the hotel and hotel manager denied her the refund. Miss. Prescott contacted the Priceline ( where she had made the reservation) she was also charged by the company. Could you imagine paying all that money plus dealing with Melissa Snyder the general Manager calling you the liar? Well Melissa we will be seeing you in court.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The front desk workers were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was yummy. The pool and hot tub was great. All in all, a great stay.
