This place is used to be one of my favorite places to go and hangout with friends and just relax. We were here over the weekend (June 2019) and were using it as a place to do a photo shoot. We were a little disappointed that the place wasn't very well taken care of. The grass was very high, it would appear that no one has weed whacked in a long time. Just a bit rough looking. Even worse they emptied the damn and now its just a big open pit that looks horrible. I hope they start to take care of the place again and make it great again.

The park is not what it should be. The city has it closed off you can no longer go there and have a family cook out. The big pavilion is falling apart and should be save but the city is to cheap to fix anything. The grills you can no longer use because they ate falling apart. If I left my place look like the park does the city would come after me. But yet they let a number of there parks and properties fall apart. WAKE THE HELL UP RRADING MAYOR the park is a disgraceful

Tried to go thru other day and it’s blocked at both entrances ? A nice day around 2:00 ? I’ve been wanting to just walk around and take pictures , it not very inviting. Was a time bad scene ........ but thought it was open for families or bike riders and me lol? Didn’t feel comfortable enough to leave car beyond the gates either .
