Windsor Diner

This small old town style diner brings you back to a time before our parents. When you walk in you'll be greeted by an older gentleman sittin at the bar reading his morning paper. He will tell ya to sit where u want and get you started as the other employees arrive for their morning shift. I hope to visit the diner every time i go to Vermont to visit family up there. Hope the old tiker got his water heater fixed too. The setting brings you back to a tike our parents parents grew up in, a more simpler time.

We are from LI, NY and we came to Vermont for the very first time. My husband and I googled breakfast near me and this cute little diner popped up. I said well, let’s go! The pancakes were so perfect looking and didn’t taste like any other pancake I’ve ever had before! I did not try the real maple syrup but dang, they probably would have exceeded my expectations even more with it. Everything was SO good. Coffee was perfect as well. When we pulled up it reminded me of “Pops” from stranger things, wasn’t identical but it gave you this cute old diner feels. We do not anything like this bag home. We will continue to go here for breakfast when we visit next time! (Oh and the sausage links were so good too)

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the American precision museum just down the street. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly 🙂 I had the cheeseburger basket with fries. Perfect ratio of hand cut fries to burger!

We love stopping at diners, and this one did not disappoint us. Friendly staff and great food. The home made bread was awesome!

Probably my favorite little breakfast spot of all time. The waitress is sassy and the perfect blend of humorous and kind. Good food, good vibes, definitely recommend!

OLD school diner with some really interesting menu choices: the fried tripe and the liver and onions were excellent. Super friendly owner and jack-of-all-trades daughter. Classic diner decor -- functional and practical. Go there.

Awesome Worcester Dining Car Company manufactured architecture. Makes you love America even more. Really good breakfast of the type you would make at home if you wanted to spend hours shopping and cooking.

The Diner was amazing. The people working there were so friendly, joking and making conversation with everyone in the restaurant. The food was delicious too. I can’t wait to go back and explore the rest of their menu.

Always a great meal and fun atmosphere! I had 2 eggs over easy with corn beef hash and homemade toast! My kids had the best chocolate chip pancakes ever!

We had great food and service from the only person working on our drive through town. Great little diner. Our group had pancakes, the fish and burgers- all great!

Love love this place! As a native New Yorker a good diner makes my heart sing! Great selection of food...perfect selections for a diner kinda meal.... It's all been so good! Shelley and Theresa are just the best...🙂

Wow what a nice and cozy place. Got the cheeseburger and it was absolutely delicious. Service was great staff was very friendly. Facilities are quite clean. Cash only but they have an ATM

Was riding my motorcycle past this classic diner early one morning and saw a convertible Bentley and four motorcycles parked out front. I made a u turn there on Route 5 and went in.

It’s just like I thought… booths up front, a long counter and a grill in back. Staff was super friendly and welcomed me as I sat at the counter.

Checked out the menu. Had a nice variety of choices. As it was morning I had some eggs, toast and coffee. Coffee was delicious and they were happy to provide milk for it. The eggs were just as I had hoped, the home fries were hot and a little crispy and I think the bread might have been homemade.

They have nice big windows that look out to the street. As I looked around, everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. This diner is one I’ll go back to again and again.

My husband and I googled and found the best place to eat breakfast and lunch! The food was fresh, delicious and authentic! We highly recommend this place to enjoy home cooked food!

Stopped in for breakfast and ended up with a great experience. You know you’re in a good place when the regulars will pour you a cup of coffee while the owner steps in the back to grab the fresh sourdough bread for your toast. Food was great but the people were even better. And who doesn’t love a vintage diner where that cool antique refrigerator still works!

My boyfriend and I’s favorite place to go for breakfast. The owner is awesome and the waitress is great!

Fresh haddock was to die for. Oh! Fresh loaves of bread for sale, too. Waitress was kind n personable and it was her birthday 🥳. The diner patrons sang to her clapping good wishes. The atmosphere was like stepping back in time. These are memories that will lift my spirit for a long time.
