Shoe Dept. Encore

Went in today for the first time in a while. Trying to find a pair of comfortable fitting shoes. A very nice younger woman helped me find the best ones. It didn’t look like they had much staff but the service provided was great for how empty the mall is. Very clean store with many low price options to chose from. I will be returning!

Melita is wonderful!! I took my 9 year old daughter Lennon to get new shoes and we were having a very hard time finding a pair that she felt comfortable in, she is autistic and has Sensory Processing Disorder, buying her new shoes is never an easy process. I asked Melita if she would come measure my daughters feet and figure out her true shoe size, she did and then helped us pick out a few pairs for my daughter to try on. When she realized my daughter was emotional, stressed, and on the verge of a meltdown she was so patient and sweet with her! She took her for a short walk in her new shoes to check out a purse and get my daughter to think about something other than how her feet felt, long enough for her to realize the new shoes weren’t so bad. She kept telling her she was doing great and complimenting my daughter on the new shoes. The customer service provided by Melita was above and beyond.
