Coventry Woods Preserve

Nice trails for mountain bike rides, hikes and horses. Trails are marked well. Some of the trails have many rocks but totally manageable. Beautiful scenery and a large campground. I think it’s boy scouts?

My family loves walking the trails of the Coventry Woods. It is always quiet and serene. This is a Red Spotted Newt that was on one of the trails.

A really nice hidden gem in the northern part of the county. Has lots of trails through a fairly old and tall forest. Some up and downs, but too much to handle; walking sticks are not necessary. This time of year we did not see very many animals, but I am sure that it will full of birds come spring.

Wonderful hidden gem for some light hiking! I can't wait to come back when everything is in bloom!

If you're into birds, butterflies, dragonflys and frogs then this is the place to go. We've seen a scarlet tanager, cedar waxwings, ovenbirds and a whole bunch of warblers a few months ago when we went. They have a list of all birds spotted there which is awesome. Its incredibly peaceful and has very nice trails all around. Sometimes it feels like I'm in the mountains. We went on a saturday with perfect weather and didn't pass a single person on the trails until we got back to the parking area. Their is also a basketball court where we park. The trails are mainly in the woods but they are well maintained and just simply beautiful. Love it there!

Nice hiking trails and not too crowded. The trails are easily marked with some easy elevations. I recommend it for the average hiker.

Another hidden gem in the tri-county area for taking a hike. Used to be a campground. Trails are not as well traveled as other places so use caution in the fall with wet leaves.
