Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites Salt Lake City

By far one of our favorite hotels to stay in. The rooms are always clean. I love how the pool curves so bigger kids can play in the deep end while I can watch my smaller child play in the shallow end; and the hot tub is always hot. The breakfast is the best hot breakfast I've seen at any hotel I've stayed at. We used to stay at a different Crystal Inn, but switched to this one mainly because the breakfast is so much better. 10/10 would recommend this hotel. We stay there a couple times a year.

These rooms are over the top nice, very clean and most impressive, our room had a love seat in it. We didn't have to lay on the bed to watch TV. And it had a table & chairs as well. The complimentary breakfast was the best we've had in a very long time. Highly recommended this motel. 👌

Had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. I stayed in the king suite with the jetted tub.The bed was so comfortable, the jetted tub was massive! Room was clean and spacious. The lady who checked me in was courteous and friendly. The breakfast was great, I really enjoyed the many options they offered. Even with some construction going on outside across from my room,the room remained pretty quiet for the majority of the day. I was overall very impressed. This place gained another regular! 10/10

We stayed here for a local event in SLC. The hotel was clean and the rooms were good sized and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good and the size of the dining room was ample size as well. The proximity to downtown made this a good location and we enjoyed our stay. Hotels are quite pricy, so we booked our trip through a booking company, not directly through the hotel. We saved a great deal by doing this.

Wonderful experience. The hotel is NOT in a bad neighborhood as another reviewer mentioned. Yes you may encounter a few homeless people on a street a block or two away but they are harmless. It is downtown of the big city and very unfortunate we have such problem almost anywhere you go now. I walked to convention center which is 12 min away in the morning and at the night and it feels safe. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable bed and great breakfast. I was surprised that most of items were made from the scratch and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good and well attended too. The area was a bit run down, homeless and a few shady characters but nothing crazy and they weren't hanging around the hotel which was nice. All in all a nice stay.

This is a fantastic hotel. The pool / hot tub / sauna is open till midnight. The room I had was super comfortable. The bed and sheets were high quality. Nice staff and you can walk to breweries and restaurants near by (if you drink). I also didn't place my parking pass on my dash and they cleared it up for me. I'm in a hotel 200+ nights a year. This place is crazy good for the price. I can't say enough nice things about it.

We got in late after a delayed flight. We were tired and hungry. The front desk was so quick and friendly at check in. I'm a VIP through Expedia so I was also greeted with a couple waters and a couple snacks. It was very much appreciated!! Our bed is comfortable and the jetted bathtub is AMAZING!!

I loved this hotel I read all the reviews was scared but I went there anyway and the location is great. The room was perfect, the breakfast was goood. Loved the pool very clean the staff is friendly and goes above and beyond. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Salt Lake City. The deposit is resonable only $50.00 for the whole stay. Free parking as well.

This was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, especially for the price range. The rooms were clean and well stocked up. The staff was kind and friendly. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Much better than just plain oatmeal and waffles. Will be staying here again 🙌🏽

What a pleasant surprise for my wife and I on our unusual trip. We ended up arriving to SLC at 4 in the morning and were treated with nothing but respect and service. Michael was so cool! Without even asking he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Especially needed from our long trip and the freezing weather. We had low to no expectations for the breakfast but whaaat!! They actually have healthy options and lots of protein, not just the usual high carb, high sugar stuff. Thats cool but I wish they had a sauna.....Wait what!? they do!! It was pumping such great heat! Honestly worked better than the one at our gym. Centrally located and all around awesome stay, especially for the price. You can tell the owners/managers run a well oiled machine. You can see it from how the employees treat you. Thanks for the comfortable and easy time!

I like this place so much that I don't want to give it a good review in case it's overbooked whenever I try to come to town lol.
But for real, some of the best service and definitely the best breakfast.
Street Tacos within 2 minutes walk.
Short walk to Salt Palace Convention Center.

This had become our favorite SLC getaway hotel. Clean building and rooms. Great breakfast. Location is good. The only downside is all the homeless people outside

We stay here when we have to go to the Children’s Hospital. Very quiet and safe. Their shuttle system is very helpful. Highly recommend for your stay in Salt Lake!!

Great place for business trip, especially if you need to stay downtown.
Good prices, clean and perfumed rooms, gentle and professional service; the breakfast included in the price is the classic cherry on the cake.

I loved this place. The breakfast was a real breakfast, not just a grab and go. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the conference center, and the shuttle was extremely convenient.

The rooms are large and clean. Mine had a king size bed and a separate area with a couch and desk. Great for business travel.

There is no safe in the room. There is a fridge and microwave. The sink is in the main room. The toilet and shower/tub are in a separate room - a true bathroom for bathing, not washing. There is a retractable clothesline in the shower which is handy. Plus, the building has a laundry room for guests.

The hallways are long but there are multiple elevators and secure entrances at each one. My room was in the middle, across from an elevator. I was able to use that elevator and door to come and go every day and not need to go the long way through the lobby. Those other entrances are secured, requiring the room key to enter.

The included breakfast was had a good variety of American style breakfast food and was delicious. Ceramic plates, metal cutlery. Excellent coffee. I liked that there are also take-out/take-away containers.

I was going to the hospital for surgery The Crystal inn offered a discount rate and delivered me to the surgical center on time, I enjoyed the stay would do it again. 5 Stars!
King beds were great cuz I'm tall.

Its been one of the better experiences in terms of a hotel. Comfortable rooms. Staff is so nice.

The amount of stars should speak for themselves but this hotel was BAR-NONE much better than our hotels back in SC. Clean, comfortable room, a nice pool (which we never got to enjoy) and friendly and helpful staff. Hopefully we will come back next year. I'm posting this before checkout, but I don't forsee any issues that will change my review.
