My Buddy the Plumber, Electric, Heating & Air

Casey and Tony were the techs that replaced my Furnace and AC. After getting quotes from multiple companies My Buddy had the most bang for your buck. Air purifier was the icing on the cake. Casey and Tony were professional, cordial, clean and fast! They broke down the information so I could understand it and even swept my utilities closet. highly highly recommend them and will be requesting them in the future. Thank you guys so much! Me and my family very much appreciate it!

After receiving several quotes from other places we decided to get one from My Buddy the Plumber, they went through our system like none of the other guys had. They had excellent recommendations about moving our vent to prevent hair build up and expanding the size of both our intakes. Our house is breathing way better than it ever has now. They recommended a quieter furnace and we’re loving it. Korey and Kasey were informative and went above and beyond with the installation and fixing things that our roofers missed, and clearing dog hair out of the intakes. They were pleasant to be around and had no troubles working around the professional cleaners that were working at the same time. Would recommend this company to friends and family. The entire team was exceptional. The 70 year old furnace in my mom's house had past it prime and new parts just weren't an option. Everyone was friendly, informative and respectful to my Mom and her needs. I can't say enough good about the team that treated my mom like she was one of their own family. From the diagnostic to the replacement, these guys all exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Thanks Guys, you were great!

Derek D. and Hayden came today and installed much need faucets, and repaired my toilet which was loose and running all the time. Holland showed up a little early. He was very professional and polite. He explained everything that he did and what he was looking for, and he said everything looked good with our furnace! I will definitely use My Buddy the Plumber again for future needs!

They came the day after the earthquake here in Magna. Daniel looked at my water heater and between the both of us came up with a game plan to get our house back into shape. Unfortunately the water heater we had installed when we first moved in was replaced incorrectly. I explained that when you guys came to fix our AC unit and replace our furnace that our water heater was out of code. Expansion tank on the hot side. No earthquake straps. Wrong piping. Missing parts. No sediment trap on the gas line. Etc.Daniel took the time to listen and showed compassion for what we had gone thru. He offered solutions and advice that was greatly appreciated in a stressful situation. He came the next morning and explained every little detail on what he was going to do. We also found out that the water pressure was not where it was supposed to be. He explained that average range is between 50-80. Our house was 112. So our pressure regulator was the problem. He was a great help and I hope the owner Brandon( Daniel couldn't stop praising him at every chance he could) will see this and Give Daniel the recognition he deserves. You guys have come to our rescue multiple times now and I will continue to call on you guys even when we move. I have told multiple people to call if they need anything.
07/13 New service. We had our water main break and they once again came to our rescue. Brian was out within the service hours and said he would make sure we got taken care of.
We don't have enough words to thank this company for how many times they have come and treated us with compassion and respect for our house issues.

We did our a/c tune up with Taylor H. today and had a wonderful experience. He arrived on time and is very personable. He gave us great tips on how to maintain our a/c and explained everything in detail while he was checking out our a/c unit. We did not feel rushed or anything. He is very professional and willing to help. Highly recommend.

Revised Review: I was contacted by the owner and had a very good conversation regarding the work and the cost. I am very satisfied with the resolution. The work as I stated before was very good.

Awesome and Fast (That was my initial response). However after digesting the invoice, I would not recommend their service based on how much they charge. I had a water leak coming through my ceiling. I cut out a 3x3 section of drywall, identified the leak, placed a plastic sheet on the floor and had it ready to go. The technician arrived and spent about 30 to 40 minutes working to repair the line. He cut out 18" of pipe, used 2 fittings and installed 18" of Pex. Total cost $555 (I did get a discount for writing a Google review). I called the next morning and explained my concern and was told "That is what it costs to have a licensed professional fix your pipe." The service itself was good as they responded quickly, the technician was very nice and the work so far appears to be good. Simply put, Overcharged for basic plumbing service.

Preston was just so friendly and accommodating with our air conditioning needs. He diagnosed the problem quickly and followed up with both me and my wife.He provided us with good options to consider. He was professional in his service and respectful of our home and concerns. We really enjoyed having him come over.

My buddy the plumber heating & air from the beginning to the end of our AC adventure were extremely helpful and reliable. Larry kept us from wasting $700 for a band aid fix on our 18 year old AC unit and instead suggested having Shawn come out and talk about our replacement options. Shawn gave us multiple options and was able to have someone out as soon as two days later. Ryan and Chandler did a amazing job replacing our AC and furnace. Both made sure that everything was done to a T, and that any questions were answered. Id highly recommend this company to anyone and will definitely be using them in the future.

Dominique was awesome! He was timely, VERY professional, and spent the time to teach me what to do next time this happens. Then to kick it all off, he said he appreciated what our agency, Holding Out HELP, did to support those from a polygamous background and didn’t charge us. I highly recommend them.

Wow, what a positive experience. I had Robert and Jesse come to the house to do some massive repairs. We had a nasty water line break and it seemed very complicated! They both are great problem solvers and found a way to totally fix the issue and and make sure that it won't ever flood again! I'm very, very impressed with those two and grateful for their expertise and their professionalism!
Just a week after we had a different leak and needed a plumber again. We called and Kyle Malstrom came to our rescue. He quickly fixed the issue but noticed that the pressure regulator was leaking on our main line! We are so grateful he saw that. He came back to fix that and bring our water heater to code and we opted to replace our very old water softener. He was very informative and did a great job. We will for sure have Kyle back! I'll be using My Buddy the Plumber for all of our needs!!

My Buddy the Plumber (Robert and Jesse) did a fantastic job fixing a dripping shower faucet at our home yesterday (8-16-2023). It is a very old faucet with very old plumbing; they spent a long time getting it fixed and getting it right. Highly recommended. Ask for them personally if you can. I will use My Buddy the Plumber again.

We had some weird issues with our AC and called a company to come look at it. They weren’t very confident what was causing the issue but still suggested we replace the zone control board for about $1000. We decided to call My Buddy the Plumber for a second opinion and we are so glad we did! Preston was super attentive in trying to really understand what the issue is and he was thorough in trouble shooting until he discovered that a previously installed part was wired incorrectly, causing our issue. He went above and beyond and ultimately saved us a lot of money from replacing a part that didn’t need to be replaced. That kind of service makes me trust and want to use MBTP again.

We had an issue with our hot water heater. Mr. Buddy came out the same day to look at it. They made a recommendation and gave us options. We decided to replace it. They returned the following day. The service was great! Heath was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and explained everything. I would highly recommend this company.

I can’t say enough great things about My Buddy The Plumber! I had a plumbing emergency and My Buddy did an amazing job getting my issue fixed. Scheduling was fast, easy and friendly with Jennifer and my tech Josh was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and he got my issue fixed fast! I highly recommend everyone at My Buddy the Plumber!!

If I could give Ish and Holland a 10 star review I would! They were on time, got right to work and kept at it and finished the entire AC/Furnace replacement in one day! Plus pleasant, communicative and tidy!

The Malmstrom brothers, Eric and Kyle, did a great job. They replaced our water softener and our rusted floor drain in the basement. They fixed a corroded pipe in our kitchen and a fixture that wasn't up to code while they were at it. They know their stuff and they explain things clearly. They go above and beyond and are total winners.

I had a lot of electrical work finished today .
He installed two pendants in the kitchen a , larger pendant in the stairwell , moved one ceiling fan and installed it to another as well as installed a new one in the living room. He also added dimmers and changed the light switches today . Very professional and efficient. I would add more photos but I’m limited to three .
I definitely would recommend Dan at My Buddy .
