MAC's Tech Hut / Micro Air Computers

Simply put they are amazing! Twice now I had laptops with problems and both times I was able to walk-in with no appointment and they helped me immensely.. not only figuring out issue but both times finding a solution that cost me little to nothing when everyone else said I had to replace laptops! They are knowledgeable helpful and both times the solutions were something they did not profit off of in fact they helped me find alternative Solutions where it wouldn’t cost me a fortune rather than gouging me with costly repairs they could have done and instead giving me reasonable solutions that worked.. I will always go here first and cannot recommend highly enough!

Exception service and very knowledgeable staff. They helped me out to get my computer running same day and went out of their way to make sure it was a great experience all around. Highly suggest them for any computer related issues.

Great place, to put it simply overall the experience was phenomenal. They figured out the issue i was having in moments, gave me an estimate and fixed the problem in a very timely manner.

I had some screws left inside by the manufacturer they found them and took them out before it caused a surge in my computer. I had a usb problem Norman came out to my home and fixed it no problem. I'm a happy customer and anymore problems I have in the future, I'll go to Norman.

I had a unique request to repair a non-PC related cable. They took the time to make the necessary repairs and tested it for continuity, even though they didn’t have the specific tool designed for that particular connector style/type. They charged what I felt was very reasonable given the complexity of the work involved. Thank you!!!

My HP Envy had started showing an black error screen, saying to load boot disc. After spending several hours with HP customer support due to the laptop being under the one-year manufacturer warranty, the laptop would turn on occasionally and work normally and sporadically give the same error warning. HP told me I could mail the laptop to them, but I would then be without a laptop for an undetermined amount of time. I then tried calling some other large tech repair services, and all gave basically the same feedback.. It could be weeks to a month for me to get my laptop back.... I continued to use my laptop and fiddle with it to get it to work for about a month and a half.. Until one day... I could barely get it to turn on. I knew I needed to bite the bullet and go without in order to get it looked at. As a last-ditch effort, I Googled 'laptop repair near me'. And, I found MAC's Tech Hut.. I think to myself, this place has very good reviews and feedback.. I'll call them in the morning'. Next morning, I call, explain what's happening... How long am I looking at going without? I'm told to bring it on over. They could have it back to me same day, or two days later (due to the holiday in between). ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!? I'll be right there!!!

I have to say, it turns out the issue that was going on with my laptop was a super simple fix. I didn't lose any of my files or data. I had asked for an update during the evaluation process, which I received as promised. I then received another call later that very same day, telling me that I could come pick up my laptop. My bill was very reasonable, and now, my laptop is running like it's brand new. I have no issues.

I highly recommend MAC's Tech Hut for laptop repair!! Fair, honest and reasonable, quick turnaround time, and I was not upsold. Everything I love about local businesses!!!

Best computer technicians in PA, and for a good price. When my gaming rig stopped working, I had first gone to Geek Squad where they told me my mother board was fried, and that I would need to replace it and possibly many other parts connected to it, with no way of confirming which parts were and weren't broken. They didn't have the technology to diagnose the actual problems or check which individual components were and were not working.
So I went to Mac's Tech Hut instead. They had an answer for me within the day - they used their hardware to test each part individually, and confirmed that everything was working fine separately. They then figured out that we just needed to replace the power supply to get the rig working again! So instead of tossing out a good motherboard like Geek Squad recommended, or replacing multiple components that would cost me several hundred dollars each, they simply fixed up the power supply, a part that cost me about $60 bucks (plus the cost of labor, about $80). I had no way to test my components individually like that, and would have probably just ended up buying a replacement part over and over until it got fixed. They saved me heaps of money.
Moreover, their service was prompt and polite. Norm, the owner, answered my emails the very same night I sent it (on a Friday, past their closing hours) and Myles, the on-site technician, was cordial and hardworking, and was very patient in explaining his process to me.
I don't usually write reviews but I am very grateful for their help - I highly recommend them to anyone with any computer problems! Cancel your Geek Squad subscriptions. :)

I highly recommend these guys, the customer service here was above and beyond expectations. We went in expecting to be sold high priced hardware to accommodate our application, but after a few minutes of discussion we were pointed to a solution that was low cost and fairly simple. Their willingness to educate us on what we needed rather then just sell us something we didn’t really need speaks for their care for the customer over the sale. I would definitely stop in and talk to Norm for our future computer needs.

Norm from Mac's Tech Hut did an excellent job setting up my new computer in my home. He explained the features of the system and completed the task in a relatively short time at a reasonable cost. It is working well and I highly recommend this professional service.

We came in at 2pm on a Saturday and Norm had a new card installed and expert advice on all our questions!! He worked past closing time checking out how the install worked. Norm is really excellent and we appreciate this!! The cost was very reasonable for labor. We left at 3:30 and our computer was great now! Thanks MTH!!

Norman and his staff were very polite and helpful! Today was my first time checking the store out and couldn't believe everything they had and how well it was priced! They have stuff from the late 90s to now! I will definitely be back and will let others in the market for computer parts know about Mac's Tech Hut!

From my first visit they gave me excellent advise and offer a variety of components to make data backup effortlessly.
In the Spring I purchased a refurbished hp laptop that was upgraded with solid state drive. "Very Fast".
This week I had a charging problem. Norm diagnosed it was a bad battery. Even though the 90 day warranty was up he replaced it free of charge.
If you do any presentation he sells an Iogear green pointer that works great in any light.

Late in 2019 I initially contacted Mac's Tech Hut because I needed to update to Windows 10 by Jan 14 2020. I own a small business in the financial industry which of course is heavily regulated. Norm Flamm, owner, was sensitive to the deadline. He met and exceeded all of my expectations at a reasonable cost. Not only did he understand my requests - I speak in non-tech terms - he evaluated my equipment, made suggestions, gave realistic estimates, brought my system up to date and compliant and taught me how to use it. During the follow up visit, he answered more questions and also resolved some issues related to my cell, ie printing etc. Dealing with Mac's Tech Hut has been a stress free experience, that has resulted in rapid, user friendly success. I will certainly contact him again when the need occurs.

These guys are the best! They have fixed several computers for our family and in a very timely manor.

We have been going to Norm and Micro Air for over 20 years for our personal and business computer needs and we couldn't be happier.
I highly recommend him and all his services. Had our crashed computer up and running is just a few hours for our business. The new solid state hard drives he put in has made our job so much easier. I could write a novel on how each and every time he has pulled us out of a mess and on top of that he is extremely affordable. You will not get this knowledge, service or personal attention . . .anywhere else!

They were very helpful with getting my son's laptop fixed. I took it in, they did the job, and the price was very reasonable. I had called Best Buy first about the same job and they made it clear that they weren't interested in handling it and weren't sure they even could. Next time I go straight to MAC's.

I have some issues with my computer bluetooth driver. Chat with Mac's Tech Hut. He shared he's tough and guide in the right direction and I able to fix problem. I recommend 100% to everyone really knowledge in what he do. Also fantastic costumers service.....

I hesitate to tell everyone how GREAT Norm is, because then he might get too busy to help me as quickly as he did with my current problems.
Norm came in and in 5 minutes, fixed 1 problem that has been plaguing me for years.
He considered every issue on my list in a thoughtful way and helped me through each one, answering questions in an understandable manner.
The bill was very reasonable for the work and knowledge provided, I am a fan of Mac's Tech Hut and will only be calling them in the future.

We had Norm come out and install a router for us. Everything was installed quickly. He asked us questions and made some suggestions on what he would do if he had this in his home. With Norm still there we had to call Verizon to replace our out of date modem. He patiently sat on hold with us and explained to the CSR that we needed a new modem sent out.

A couple nights later Norm to came out to install our new modem. He had to call Verizon CSR again for help. Was not getting the help we needed he asked for a manager. As soon as the manager got on the phone, our new modem starting working. Thank you for standing up for us. We would have not received the same ending if you were not there.
