We loved the fact that this was an authentic log cabin, with just enough modernization to make it very comfortable. It was extremely clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had the pleasure of watching deer playing in the yard every day and also enjoyed watching the cows grazing in the nearby pasture. Oh, and I can't leave out the turkeys and even a quick glimpse of a fox running by. It was definitely helpful to have a 4-wheel drive. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away, this is the place to go. And if you want to get away but still stay connected - our phones maintained ALL bars - Spectrum and Verizon. I just can't say enough good things about this place. We loved it.

We stayed at a fantastic property--River Rocks on the New River! River Rocks was the perfect place for our family to meet up with our extended family during a crazy year when we didn't think it would be possible. The house comfortably fit our family of four as well as grandparents and brother-in-law's family of 5--11 total! We didn't feel crowded at all because of the layout. We had everything we needed right on site and never needed to leave the property for several days of relaxation, adventure, and fun. There was plenty of room for the 7 kids to run around together outside and the playground area is an added bonus that most rentals don't have. This was such a blessing for us because we live in the city and don't have much space for the kids to run and play. They could even have adventures on their own on a little trail in the woods along the side of the property. The lower level was a great hangout area for them to play card games and video games and give the grownups some peace and quiet upstairs. The river was also an exciting place for them to explore. We brought lifejackets and tubes, and we were able to walk up river and float down. We also spent many evenings at the fire pit, relaxing by the river as the sun set. I also enjoyed running through the picturesque surrounding farmland and doing yoga on the large lower patio. My favorite part was the expansive deck overlooking the river. We spent almost all of our time out there enjoying the landscaping, river, and mountain views. We ate out there for every meal, read, talked and played games. There was space for everyone out there, which is amazing with such a large group. The weather was perfect, even a little chilly for August, so we could sit out in the fresh, clean air all day, every day watching the kids running around and even enjoying the views when it was raining. The owner was wonderful and accommodating, answering all our questions whenever needed. This is our new favorite place for vacation, and I highly recommend it for those who need a place to get away from it all!

Had an amazing time at this rental! Went during the fall and the color views were top notch. Especially enjoyed the comfortable porch with cozy propane fireplace. Love that the road was paved all the way to the door. Easy to find our way in and out and short drive to town. Felt very private. The host was a good communicator, would stay again.

We went through Airbnb, but wished we had booked our rental directly by them and saved on the Airbnb fee. We had a great experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this company!!! We stayed in Laurel Mtn Cabin, which was charming and rustic. The bed was very comfortable. The check in directions were easy to follow and accurate. The cabin was well maintained. The staff is amazing. I left my engagement ring in the cabin and did not realize it until I was back home (over 3 hrs away). I had not purchased the rental insurance so they were at no obligation to help me. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful (Christina is who I spoke with). She contacted the housekeeper who located my ring and Christina mailed it back to me! I will be a repeat customer for life!

We have used 4 Seasons Vacation Rentals many times over the years and have been extremely happy every time. We love to explore and try new locations. I was saddened to hear that our very favorite place might not be available any longer. However, with all of the rentals they have, that are pet friendly, I am sure we will find a new favorite.

Each cabin is unique and we select them for various reasons. Our daughter always wants a hot tub, I like country charm and hiking, my husband basically wants to just get away from the hustle of city life...

We have rented different times during the year, but our absolute favorite time is Thanksgiving. The staff are great to work with and have helped us with planning our outings. Looking forward to our next adventure...

We stayed at the Top O' The Morning cabin for winter break and it was wonderful. The location is quiet and serene with mountain views. In the past we have rented cabins and the hot tub would not work. The hot tub here worked perfectly. Kristina worked with me closely and answered all my questions. The hospitality was superb. I would definitely go back here.

My family and I rented a cabin from 4 Seasons this past weekend. I found the rental, reserved, and paid for everything on their easily navigable website. When I called the office with questions not answered online, I spoke to someone right away. No phone tag or waiting for someone to call back, which was very convenient. We stayed at the "Higher Ground" cabin in W. Jefferson and LOVED it. The place had been decorated for Christmas and the place felt so cozy. I'd really love to come back. My family really enjoyed their stay at Higher Ground and would definitely do business with 4 Seasons Vacation Rentals again.

We loved our stay at this wonderful Cabin with the rushing streams right across the way. We have been spreading the word here in South Carolina and will continue too tell everyone. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it. We couldn't remember the code to the cabin. But we called office and they got everything taken care of right away. We will be using them for all of our vacations.

We have used 4 Seasons for a LONG time. We come up for Merlfest each year and stay a week at one of the cabins they represent. Easy to communicate with the folks in the office, payments always were timely and the cabins were as advertised. I can't remember a problem with any of them and I know we've used them at least the last eight years.

The staff was super friendly and professional. Will highly recommend our family and friends. We rented out Clark Miller Roller Mill this past weekend for a small private wedding and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting.

We stayed here in the summer for a float. Everyone was very nice and accommodation priced well. Our unit was very dusty and some cobwebs but i guess that can be expected for a mountain cabin. Overall a great experience.

The owner has thought of everything . From a toasty fire table in the sun room to plenty of hooks for towels and room for storing food/clothes. Plus, you can't beat that view!
