I have been coming here since I was a child. Even though the lake is gone, the new attraction for the kids, new plants, bridge, and disc golf have kept us coming back. I love that my kids can make memories here, as I did as a child. Perfect for picnics or wandering in nature.

A lil muddy but that's what Nature is partially about right? Getting your hands dirty. And boy did we!

This is an absolutely beautiful park!! So peaceful and clean...nice paths to walk, there are picnic tables as well as benches, short bridges to walk over the crystal clear creek, and a very clean playground for the kids!! it is really is such a gorgeous place to go!! **But if u do go here, PLEASE do not litter or leave any of ur trash, and also make sure u pick up after ur dogs!! there are plenty of trash cans and recycling cans to discard of ur waste!! 😉

Peaceful, extra ordinarily beautiful, the air there is clean fresh and at this time of year in the morning crisp. And if you're nose is good you can pick up the different aroma of dents present their. But I personally recommend the place if you're looking for peace of mind and heart.

Perfect place for an easy walk with a stroller and children. Not a challenging walk but plenty of plants, insects, and other wildlife to look at and discover. We enjoyed the Nature Place play area. It's gated and fenced in with plenty of fun made from nature.

I really love this park. The trails are so beautiful and easy to walk through even with small children. It's also very educational. Lots of schools have field trips here. Today I discovered a small book stand, almost like a book swap. I'm sure you can bring books and just leave them there for others to enjoy or just take one and go sit in a field and enjoy a nice read. What a wonderful idea! On weekends there is lots going on, they had a food truck and other stands selling organic homeade lotions and other products. They even had a beer stand! And the prices were nice as well, $4 & $5 beers. The food truck even had hummus! There were lots and lots of dogs and people in bikes. I did not see a playground. There are nice benches all around and really spaced out so you can have privacy.

I grew up going here when it was a lake. I enjoy taking pictures here now being a wildlife photographer. You can see some images I took here below. I post many more on my Instagram and Facebook photography pages.

I almost stepped in a big pile of poo! I hope they ban dogs if people are not going to clean up after their pets. This is one of the few places I can be without fearing for my safety and I come here often during my lunch break to get exercise, fresh air and mental health care. Having to keep my eyes on the ground instead of enjoying the view defeats the whole purpose of a serenity walk. I'm so disappointed we can't have anything nice.

Really nice nature area all around the trail. It was fun for me and my doggy. Few places left where it's untouched by industry. Enjoy it especially on a beautiful sunny day

This is a modern and very kid friendly nature experience. Lots to learn inside and outside there's a story book trail. The playground is a learning experience all in its own!

I play disc golf there regularly. The course is fun and has some challenging shots. Makes for a great course to learn the game on. The tees would be my only problem. They are in poor shape and now have tracks on both sides where people have been shooting from due to their poor condition.

The park is beautiful and offers many other uses for outdoor activities.

Awesome trails. Good honey in the gift shop, which is also one of the few pet friendly locations in Berks County.

Nice to explore the outside with posted signs to see what wildlife is there. Also fish in the stream. I myself miss the dam but this is also nice. Helps the kids learn along with playing. Will definitely be going back with the kids! Next time walking the trails!!

Nice outdoor area with trails and outdoor play place for kids. This park is co-leased by Berks Nature who has an educational center open to the public on site. Check their website for building hours. The park also has a disk golf course and picnic tables as well as open areas for general use. Great place to take your kids for a few hours.

Play yard is all natural and so much fun. Peaceful place to hike/walk. Only issue is some don't keep their dogs on leashes, so watch for that especially if you have small kids.

Beautiful local park next to Alvernia University. Scenic trails, 9 basket disc golf course, and shaded picnic tables.
