I was not a patient but had an emergency and Dr. John was so quick and so kind as to call me back. I was seen within 2 days(I called on a Friday evening) . Everyone there was so nice and I look forward to being a regular patient there.

Dr John is so kind and compassionate about making you feel as calm as possible in a dentist office. We do not have dental insurance, but they have a plan that is affordable, that I purchased. Dr John fixed an old cracked metal filling that I had. He even accommodated my request to have extra protection of the rubber placed in my mouth before removal of the old metal filling. ❤ That morning my TMJ was acting up and he took time to let me rest my jaw in-between fixing my back molar ❤ I met four of the staff and they were all so friendly! I highly recommend Dr John and his staff at, Zelienople smiles 😁

Our family has been with this practice for quite a while now and wouldn't change it for anything. They are always pleasant and do a great job taking care of us. We highly recommend Zelienople Smiles!

Dr John and his team treated me like a family member on my first visit. I had a cracked molar that developed an infection, which kept me in intense pain. The office personnel was able to get me on the schedule within 24 hours. Upon examination, I never felt rushed or pressured. The doctor went over all of my options thoroughly. After the procedure, I was feeling better within hours. Dr John even made a follow-up phone call later that evening to see how I was feeling.
This is the dentist office you are looking for. The prices are fair and they shoot you straightforward, no games. I never write reviews, but after this experience…I had to share.

I've been going for a few years now, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a new dentist.

Needed to change Dentists after
16 years due to retirement. Decided to try Zelienople Smiles since they are so close to my home. Wow! Just awesome!! Dr John and staff were all very nice and welcoming. I had to have a 30+ yr filling replaced and they did it on the spot pain free with no issue! Evening appointment was awesome since I work in the South Hills and getting through the City can be a bit tough. Again, super convenient availability. In one (1) visit I have found my dentist for the next 16 years!

I was fortunate to find a dental practice that took my husband's insurance. The girl on the phone was very polite and helpful. I went to my first appointment and Kathy was wonderful, again very polite and listened to my concerns. I met Dr. John who went above my expectations and actually listened to my concerns and let me decide were to start with my treatment instead of telling me what he was going to do! During a recent procedure, I was made comfortable and
I was always asked if I was ok. I was kept safe at all times. I cannot say enough good about this office! Highly recommend!!!

Exactly what I was looking for: Small town, private practice dentistry that I trust. Immaculate, cozy waiting room and detailed staff. Dr John was personable and likable and without any quirky “made-up” need in my examination. That quickly earned my trust. I was in and out timely and will certainly be going back. Relieved to have found a great practice.

The office staff is amazing!! Everyone is very welcoming, kind, and friendly. Dr. John always allows time to have 'girl talk', but respectful of your time. He is very friendly and always makes sure you are comfortable and helps make the whole 'less than fun trip to the dentist' as pain free as possible. I recommend this practice and ask the people in it.

My experience started off hopeless, but a patient forfeited his appointment for me but in the end didn’t have to and the Dr. And his dental assistant that helped me where amazing comforting and even stayed late to help me!!! Where able to save my smile and save me a few thousand dollars by not over charging or doing any unnecessary work. I will go back for sure for all my dental needs.

Excellent patient care! Everyone from the front office staff to Dr John Avolio are very courteous and compassionate. They took my physical disability into consideration and were very accommodating, understanding & PATIENT with me! I was very pleased with the dental work I received and will be continuing as a patient here for further dental care and treatment. Cash price plans for non insured patients are also worth coming in for. Trust me..I checked around!!😁

Dr. John is awesome staff is super nice Emma that answer the phone has the best customer services skills that I had ever received from a dentist establishment. Dr. John glued a crown back on for me about a moth ago. Had a cleaning done today. Which both were preform with professionalism and quality work. If you are looking for a dentist forget those dental chains and come here. They provide quality those places can’t. Thank you zelienople smiles for taking care of my family and mine dental needs.

I always have a wonderful experience at Dr. John Avolio’s office. He takes time and attention to my dental concerns, and his team is always very helpful as well. Love how clean my teeth feel every time too!!

Zelie Smiles is awesome. When I first went there, the dentist was honest about the need to fix some teeth. (In contrast to previous dentist practice, that I didn't trust.) The staff is friendly, I eventually got an implant there, they've been very helpful for follow-up, and the hygienists who clean my teeth are very good. Highly recommend.
