Berks County Office of Veterans Affairs worked hard to get my DIC benefits in a timely manner and went above and beyond the call of duty. Great people. Thank you Kenny Lebron for all your help.

Update!. So I went to this office to try to get help with disability. Nathan sat there fill out the paperwork for me on the computer. But I'm pretty sure he knew that he had to explain what was causing the problems. All he did is wrote service connected. So they sent me a letter telling me they want the time to place what I think happened how I'm being examined. Because he wrote nothing. I called the office back 3 weeks ago to just give them an update. Never received one phone call back. So you know your tax money is just being wasted. If you're going to try to help somebody at least give someone of an effort. I mean that's all I'm going to say but I would look somewhere else if I was really looking to get help Go to a different county go out to Lebanon just don't go here. I'm sorry but it's the truth

I have at this time NOTHING good to say on this place except the people are friendly but the work here is never followed through. I was here in September and now it's January 2024 . I was told in September they track down my paperwork wherever they sent it to and it was setting on someone's desk waiting to be signed. For me to look for it soon. It's Jan 11 and I haven't heard nothing.. they lied or just had no clue.i don't like it when I'm lied to or brushed off. My next place to go is my state Rep office. This place is B.S. OH. ONE MORE THING, ITS THURSDAY. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED AT 0800. IT'S 0830. NO BODY IS HERE AND THERES NO NOTE ONTHE DOOR....
WHY ?!

Very bad experience. They are a joke and don't know how the VA system works. What a waste of taxpayer money.

Nice save. I took care of the problem myself. Again, this is why I filed notice with the VA to remove you as my VSO and I represent myself. Every vet should know the VA system and how to deal with the VA. Don't rely on VSO's they are not in your best interest.

Horrible service and communication to the veteran. I have used this office since 2007 to handle my claim. Years ago when it was still by BCP the staff were great. Now you can't even get the assistant Kathleen to fwd an email message to the Director about your claim. I have emailed multiple times about setting up a phone interview and don't get a response in a timely manner. I even emailed the Director directly with a reply of "who is this?". Please do yourself a favor and use another service organization such as the DAV which i plan to do after my appeal. I'm sure this office would welcome this since it could free up some spots as everyone seems to be too busy to response, or help. This place has really gone down hill and causes more stress when they are touted as being "helpful".
