Highland Road Parking Lot

Dirt parking lot on game lands.

Road back to the parking area is in poor condition. There is a sign at the beginning advising it's not maintained. It's about a mile or little less back a gravel road. It's pretty rough but passable most of the way. On the final hill before the parking area is where it wasn't possible to go down in a Subaru Imprezza without bottoming out.

It's a shame what blue marsh has become. The once pine filled hedge rows and woods are now gone. Cutting more trails through the woods. Poorly maintained fields. Wildlife is gone. The deer herd isn't there anymore. Pheasants are stocked. Turkey is hit n miss. It's sad for what it once was.
