Firefly Cafe and Outpost

OMG! I love coming here when I visit family. Food is always to die for and now the attached coffee shop has the most delicious looking baked goods. Unfortunately I didn't eat any because I was absolutely stuffed from my meal but I did order a coffee and it really hit the spot. Thank you Firefly for making amazing vegan food and treats.💗💗

Firefly cafe is a great spot to check out if you’re interested in trying plant based food! They have a plethora of vegan/ vegetarian options. We left completely satisfied with our meals and can’t wait to revisit!

Great little place to eat with a full vegan menu. The staff are lovely and the mix matched chairs are adorable. Food is yummy and the smoothies are so worth the price. Wasn't a fan of the pastries but the rest of the food was tasty!! Even if you don't eat vegan (I certainly don't) you will enjoy your meal here!

Firefly is an awesome addition to the local food scene bringing vegan dishes that even carnivores can appreciate. You pay for high quality, innovative features that are meatless. We’ve eaten here several times and are always impressed by the bold flavors their menu features. Highly recommend all of their salad dressings, and even stopped next door (at their small store) to take a bottle of the sesame ginger home. We recently went with the mac n’ cheese burger, served with chipotle mayo, and the beer brat egg and cheese sandwich. Again, incredible these are meatless, and that cashew cheese is rich and delicious. By no means am I a vegan, but this spot is perfect for even those who want to try it for a meal. Service is friendly, ambience is a cozy, eclectic cafe. We will be back.

Visited twice, the first time we got our items to go. Returned the next day, and ate in. We had the Mac and cheese burger, the beyond burger, a peach cobbler smoothie, sweet dream smoothie, and an assortment of dessert items. All of it was excellent, if I could get my hands on their Mac and cheese recipe I'd be happy for life. It is the best I've ever had. It has a small seating area, and the staff was friendly. Looking forward to visiting again when we're in the area. Don't forget to stop by the shop next door, it's small, but they have a cool assortment of items.

So my husband and I are celebrating our 2 year Anniversary and he suggested this place for lunch because he saw the JackFruit pulled pork sandwich on their menu. We wound up ignoring the menu items and went straight to the specials: I had the vegan mac & cheese burger and he had the impossible burger.... OUTSTANDING!!! The service is great, the owners are superb and the food? I'll say it again: OUTSTANDING!!! Being natives of NYC we havent found any vegan places this GREAT since we moved to PA until now. I hear they have a bed & breakfast?! The Mister and I will definitely be making our way back here again and again but next time we're bringing friends!!!

The food here is incredible, I usually, grab the burrito which is very savory and some coffee. Get the carrot ginger dressing for the salad as I find it to be the best I have ever had even over my own. I usually stop by before noon, as it can get quite busy for lunch, but I find it always worth any wait.

I cannot say enough about the friendliness and sense of humor of the owner/operators/chefs at this remarkable and delicious vegan eatery. Everything I’ve ever had has been delicious and we look forward to going there every week… Sometimes twice. And if anyone had a bad experience they may want to look in a mirror because these people are truly good people and it is fantastic food. ❤

I just ordered takeout for the first time and had to put my breakfast sandwich down to write this review. Delicious, affordable, and diverse vegan food. This place is a true gem and I cannot believe I waited so long to order from here. If you're thinking about going, just go, you won't regret it!!

Firefly is a consistently delicious and friendly place! Their menu is always expanding, the food is SO fresh, and they're engaged with posting on social media so you know exactly when they're open and what they have! We go here regularly and the food is always hot and ready on time, and very very good! Feels great to support a local, family run business who makes such high quality and tasty food! Everyone will be able to find something to enjoy here regardless of their diet :)

Went to Firefly for first time. Was worried bout my family liking plant based meals n worried bout tofu. The result...one of best meals u ever had. Veggie Lasagna is Iincredible. I tried 4 other dished n all of them were insanely good. I never write recommendations but this one I had to.

My absolute favorite restaurant/restaurant. My husband and I go almost every weekend for a couple years now and have to restrain ourselves from going more often. They are very creative with their menu and there are always lots of interesting specials. I’ve never ever had a bad meal or experience! How many places can you say that about? Also, the Outpost has all the vegan groceries you didn’t know you needed until now!

Everything was fantastic! The food, the service and atmosphere were perfect.

First visit - I like it! I walked up to the cafe and there are two tables on the sidewalk, but they are both taken. I walk in and the interior is pleasing. The wooden floor, wooden tables and chairs, the juice bar, all attractive and clean. Smooth jazz is playing, I like the atmosphere.

The staff are friendly and quick, I like that. I'm told the lunch special is going to take a while due to the number of orders ahead of me, so I order the vegetarian pulled-pork sandwich, which is made from Jackfruit. Never heard of that, but it's good. It looks and tastes like the real thing.

They make juice to order, I got the juice of the day and it's very good. Good food, nice people, nice place, they have a fairly decent sized lunch crowd.

I'll be back.

My favorite vegan restaurant! It’s sort of far away from home but we try to make the trip every weekend or every other weekend because it is well worth it. I especially like getting items off the weekend brunch menu. Don’t forget, they sell Vegan Treats (the pecan sticky buns and dark chocolate peanut butter cookies are everything) and they have a vegan store next door! The owners are the best!

Delicious! We stopped here for the first time for brunch and had the deluxe burrito and cinnamon buns, they were both out of this world. The decor is great too (cozy) the artwork is a real nice touch. Would highly recommend trying!

Amazing staff, cool space, fast service, and unique menu. They make the most of this relatively small space, with high windows and little nooks to sit in the front, and local art on the exposed brick walls. The best vegan lasagna I've ever had. The greens are always really fresh and you can tell they put a lot of care into their food. I love that they have rotating specials, so there is something different every time I come in. One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants, and I've been vegetarian for 8 years. I highly recommend you stop by and feed yourself.

I've been a vegetarian for 5 years and it's always been hard to find good food in this area for me. I just discovered this place last week and I was so excited! I had the pulled "pork" and it was AMAZING! I took my non-vegetarian friends and they loved it too! I will definitely be returning soon.

Amazing family owned business who care so much about what they do! Everything I order is amazing & prepared with love. You can find so many plant based specialty items & local artisan cheeze/meatz.

They always update the weekly menus on their Instagram & have gone above & beyond to keep the community safe during the pandemic.

Worth the trip every time!!

This place is nice because there really ain’t too many vegan/vegetarian places around, especially in this area. I got the veggie black bean burger and a salad, they were both extremely flavorful, So many spices added! You can tell they use real/healthy ingredients when making their food. It’s a pretty chill atmosphere, I moved from that area recently but would love to go back again soon...
