This place is adorable, the people are friendly, food is good with good prices. The only complaint is that the men's bathroom and a very foul odor.

One important note: they only take cash and checks.

Great prices great atmosphere and they can cook a mean stake I bin going here for manyyyy years tonight I tried a steak for first time I normally do not order steak any where cause I get mine well done and no one does it right not even big steak places… I always loved the food here but tonight they got extra points with me!!! The flavor was on point too!!! Thank you for being a awesome hometown dinner!!!

Great prices on food when compared to some other local places, it's a practical place to have some meetings in the early morning.

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast. Seems pretty popular with the early breakfast crowd. Food is very reasonably priced.

Camped nearby for a couple of days and came for breakfast. Homey cash-only no-frills diner. Fast, friendly service. I ordered creamed chipped beef on waffle. The waffle was one of the best I’ve had - fluffy, eggy with no doughy texture inside but the creamed chipped beef was tasteless. Salt and pepper made some improvement. My companion ordered a traditional bacon and eggs breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly and he declared the bacon some of the best he’s ever had. Very reasonable pricing.

We love going here for breakfast. It’s cheap, quick and delicious. The staff is super friendly. Even for lunch or dinner isn’t bad. Their soups are homemade and are always delicious. All around, a good place to eat for a quick bite.

The restaurant felt more like home than a typical diner which was its charm. The prices were VERY reasonable. My wife and I had breakfast there which was delicious but it was the service that was phenomenal! Our server was very friendly and checked up to make sure we were okay. We definitely tipped her well!

Since we lived nearby we knew that we had to have cash since they don't take credit/debit cards. For the two of us it was around $22 for 3 pancakes, scrapple and coffee. Just hit an ATM before you get there. You will not be disappointed.

Went with my boyfriend for breakfast thr most amazing fresh food. Seems like is all locally sourced. Service amazing we were treated very nicely by the waitress.

Friendly staff and good breakfast

Have had only breakfast there but good is excellent. Our waitress is the most pleasent lady. She's always smiling and enjoys her job.
Our group of campers all always langhinv and kidding around, she can give as good as she gets. Still wearing that beautiful smile. The smile is genuine it shows in her face, her body language and her lovely eyes .....the food is excellent !!

I been going to Rancks for over a year. I think it's a great place to brunch. Family style cooking. Try their soups . French fries are great. Waitress are friendly and polite.

Family restaurant for sure. I came here for the first time today, ordered, went to pay and the waitress told me they don't take card. The waitress said "I got it, don't worry". Needless to say, I came back and paid but what a kind gesture!! Food was great too!

Service is always good, atmosphere is very pleasant, staff is friendly. My family and I enjoy going there.

Had grilled chicken and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were great, I should have have asked for a little bit of barbecue sauce for the chicken it was just a wee bit dry.
Really good applesauce, large portion

Ordered a chicken pot pie and got some Dutch sides red pickle egg and beets. Chicken pot pie was true Lancaster county. Homemade noodles etc. Loved it. Waitress couldn't have been nicer.
