Rutter's

This review is mostly for the food preparation workers. The customer service minded folks who work in the food prep area is top notch. The other day I ordered two chicken tacos and when I checked my food in the parking lot I discovered that what I got was actually beef tacos with all sorts of messy sauce. Obviously the wrong order was given out at the counter. A simple mistake on their part. They made things right and they made the corrected order a priority and even gave me two extra tacos for my trouble. You just can't get that level of quality customer service around here any more and Rutters should be proud of their employees for doing everything they can to keep customers. I am a happy, returning customer.

Since I live near here, I go here all the time and it’s really convenient. Gotta say my favorite person that works here is John 100%. Super helpful and really nice to talk to. Didn’t know if they had something so I called and he helped me out. Most definitely needs a raise. But other than that, this quick shop is really helpful

The store was clean and the staff was friendly even when a gentleman was complaining his fountain soda was flat. I was waiting to check out with my fountain drink and the counter lady either felt bad I was waiting or saw I looked miserable because had just received bad news about my pregnancy and said I was good to go have a great day. I have no clue how much my fountain drink cost but I assume no more than $3.00, that small gesture made me smile in a bad time. Whoever was working the checkout counters on 7/20/23 around 5pm, Thank you!

I love this rutters. I come by here all the time and always am pleased. I would like to thank 1 specific employee and that would be John. Very helpful and nice. Thank you John and this wonderful Rutters!

Prices were good, station is large and clean, plenty of areas to fill up. Food is tasty and worth getting. Highly recommend.

Food and coffee is good. The gas area is accessible, clean, user-friendly. Air pump is free ! Entrance is nice exit not bad

Decent place. Only problem here is half the spots are local truckers that drop their trailers and take their truck home. Rutgers needs to stop that and make these drivers get places to park.

Good food, clean facilities, friendly people and plenty of parking

Parked my rig for the night here after delivering to the Ashlee furniture up the street. Had one of the absolute best hamburgers I've ever had in my life. I was dumbfounded. You don't expect to eat the best burger of your life at a truck stop. And there were truck spaces available after 7pm in Pennsylvania which is rare. Awesome place to stay the night

I cannot stress enough what it means to me that you offer veggie/plant based burgers. It is very hard to be a plant based trucker! Thanks for the great parking area also. I have one suggestion... it would really be helpful if you would somehow label your menu items with a V if it is totally vegan (no animal product ingredients or prep, like butter). The Manager was so kind to allow me to order a bowl of rice as a side. I was thinking that was a safe item but I found out it included scrambled eggs and possibly butter. Animal products give me a stomach ache so I can usually tell right after eating if something was hidden in my food.

They don't have a big truck parking area but we were able to get a place at 4:30ish in the morning. I don't know how old this place is but it is well kept & clean inside & out. Every employee we encountered was friendly & made you feel welcome! Won't mind stopping here if we're out this way again!

Rutters is great. Clean bathrooms, large snack and drink selections. Plenty of made to order food to choose from, and all heavily customizable to add whatever you want. Rutters dairy stuff is really good as well.

One of the best truck stop in the nation. Clean and calm, they are trucker friendly. Please driver do not abuse it!

Best place for awesome and delicious food!! The staff are very friendly, everything is cleaned and stocked. And the food is so yummy they have spiked slushies with different cocktail flavors. Yall must stop by not just for gas but for Breakfast, lunch, Dinner, and Snack. Rutgers puts wawa and sheetz to shame when it comes to price and quality of food.

Came here late at night so it was not busy - that said food was great! Options during covid are limited during these hours and this seems to be the best in the area by far. Wasn't expecting much for gas station food at this hour but was delighted with what was available - and the quality was actually pretty good. Will definitely return. Friendly staff, good location, good options.

Very nice truck stop, well lighted parking, clean inside the store and outside. Truckers theres plenty of garbage bins outside. Dont ruin this truck stop. Theres good food and dining tables and tvs inside. Well done, I've never seen a nicer truck stop than this.

I stop here a lot for work. There's always parking, it's always clean and the food is good. I just wish the portions were a little bigger
