Delicious Italian food! Fresh bread and dipping oil was a fabulous start. Meatballs were moist, tasty and tender with delightful sauce. Entrees burst with flavor! Wine pairing was perfect. Come and enjoy a wonderful Italian meal.

You'd have to go to Italy to get pasta dishes this authentic and delicious! Can't wait to visit again and try more of the expertly prepared pasta dishes and other offerings!

They were short staffed the night we visited on our anniversary, and somehow still impressed with very kind and proactive service. The food was next level delicious, and although the day was rather gloomy, the mood lighting and the view of the old theater across the street made it feel cinematic.

Travellers, this restaurant is a gem in the heart of downtown Brattleboro. Everything we had was delicious and expertly prepared. The chef uses fine ingredients and it shines through in his Italian food. The cacio y pepe was excellent and used fine pecorino romano. The spaghetti and meatballs were delicious too. We recommend you try the pesto and the steak piziaolo, which were both delicious in a serious way. The sides, which are often neglected in some restaurants, shine bright at blue buffalo. And the Italian fries are delightful, a scene stealer. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and the calamari was tasty and crispy but still tender. The Caesar salad was also wonderful, good cheese and real anchovies! Dessert was also wonderful, the kids loved the fudgie brownie came with a marvelous vanilla ice cream. For me the the homemade carrot cake was the perfect way to end the meal. This was a wonderful Italian restaurant that had a great selection the ability to execute it all well. Check it out. We definitely recommend.

An Italian hidden gem. It was only a two man show but they absolutely crushed it. Super sweet to our family and the food was delicious! I could have drank the sauce the mussels were cooked in. The rigatoni dish was definitely one of the best I’ve had. Everything seemed to be cooked from scratch from the bread all the way to the mouth watering chocolate cake! We live an hour away but we will definitely be back.

My partner and I LOVE this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the staff is awesome.

My wife and I wandered in last night as we walked by looking for a place to eat dinner. We are so glad we did. The service was great even though Ken brought in family members to help because he was short handed, this was the first time that several of them had ever waited tables. Ken came out to answer questions and make suggestions, later in the night he just talked and we learned his story.

The food was absolutly amazing. Some of the best kanolis I have ever had, better than I have had in little Italy in NYC.

We will be back. Highly recommend.

A small storefront restaurant with only a few tables. Utterly fantastic food, quite literally the best Italian food I have had in the United States Plus a nice selection of wine and canned/bottled craft beer. Superb service. The only warning I have is if it's crowded it will be slower.

Some of the most beautiful food in the world is here!!!! If you want an ultradimensional trip into the next multiverse of tastebud experience, run don’t walk to the Blue Moose Bistro. The food is all homemade right there before your very plate and palate and you’ll feel like you’re right at home in Mamma’s kitchen. We have been there twice and it was all super delicious both times…and goshamighty, that puddin’! This place is truly a haven for those who love excellent dining. Had the Chicken Scallopini - the most tender chicken I’ve ever eaten!

I took my girlfriend here for a dinner and my god this place and the food there was absolutely transcendent. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff was great, and it was just an overall wonderful experience. Then we got our food and just wow this is some of the best food I have ever had in my life. Everything was just bursting with flavor and freshness. This restaurant and it's food have changed me like just wow I will definitely be coming back for more.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the chicken parm and the pappardelle, as well as the mozzarella sticks. Service was slower than what you typically get in restaurants with lower quality food, but just be patient, the food is worth it!

I don't think I have ever visited a friendlier and more accommodating restaurant. Despite a relatively large menue, they were happy to do all the alteration I asked for. Their "special for two" comes with a bottle of wine, your choice of red or white. I would have a tough time to believe you wouldn't be happy here. The prices are surprisingly fare consider the large portions and the elegant service. Yes, I will send my friends there.

Pleasant surprise on the great food in this little casual bistro. The chef definitely knows what he is doing. My fiancé and I had the pork steak and a special on swordfish and it was beyond our expectations. The pork steak was thick, tender and seasoned well. The sword fish is chewy, almost like a steak, it was cooked perfectly. Their waitress was great in service as well. Will definitely go back and recommend to others!

The Autumn Lasagna was drop-dead delicious. Take your time to enjoy this phenomenal local gem.

Blue Moose is a perfect date night venue. Ken, the head chef, makes all the pasta from scratch. That makes a big difference in taste! If you go on a weekday, you can get a house bottle of wine, 2 apps, 2 entrees and 1 dessert for $50! Food is always phenomenal and wait staff is always very friendly. Would absolutely recommend if you’ve never been here before!

I'd check this place out year-round. Great food and all homemade right there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The view was a nice one of the town as we sat in the window seat. However if you don't get the window seat then the inner tables have a good decorated view. No part of the food bread, meal, or desert was less that great.

Just passing through Brattleboro and looking for something off the beaten path. So glad we stopped in. There was only 1 other person dining when we arrived so we wondered if it was going to be a good choice. Within 45 minutes there were 9 of us. I ordered the Bucatini Amatriciana with crispy pork belly and my dining companion had spaghetti with Kale Pesto. Both were absolutely delicious. A little different from traditional dishes but definitely try them. We're so glad we stopped. Two thumbs way up.
