Our buying experience at Tom Schaeffers was excellent. Before arriving, we told our salesperson Sean what floor plan we were looking for. He had a few options on the lot, and after listening to the differences between them, decided on the travel trailer that fit our needs. We arrived at a price that was reasonable without hours of negotiation. We had a 4 hour “seminar” with different people talking about the options, connections, etc.

Great experience all around with everyone involved with the trading in our travel trailer at Tom Schaeffer’s. Jim was a knowledgeable (no pressure!!) salesman. Lee, Bob, Kevin and Gordon were all super helpful with my never ending stream of questions on pickup day. Finance team was great to work with as well. Look forward to lots of camping next year, and maybe dealing with Tom Schaeffer’s team again sometime down the line.

We had an awesome experience buying our first travel trailer! From the time we arrived to the time we picked up our new trailer, everyone was awesome! Sean our salesman was great at explaining all the features of the trailer we were interested in! Never felt pressured in any way. Rachael in finance made purchasing a breeze! Tom (we think that was his name) who gave us our first time trailer orientation was very through and took his time getting us familiar with everything we needed to know to be successful travel trailer owners. One of the biggest perks is they a pet friendly and treated our dog Nitro like family and he even got his first ride in a golf cart! We highly recommend Tom Schaffer's if you are looking for a pressure free and relaxed shopping and purchasing experience.

Purchased on the Internet, sight unseen. Unit was used and "as is". When I got to the dealership it had been pulled out and was ready to go. I knew it would be a project but it was in better condition than I expected. Everyone at the dealership was helpful and very service oriented. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our sales representative, Jason, was phenomenal! He took the time to show us every camper we were interested in and was patient and informative. Moreover, he was not pushy or overbearing. Awesome experience at Tom Schaeffer’s! From our sales person Jim to the financial person Rachel and our demo instructor Kerry everyone was top notch, friendly and very professional. Our dog Toby was welcomed throughout the business which made it special for us. We highly recommend this dealership!

This is my second camping trailer , both from Schaeffer's. The two salesmen, Jim and Ron, could not have done a better job explaining, everything about the trailer, pricing, trade in and all. They made the whole process simple. Kerry, than took us out ,explained ALL the items inside and out. Answered all of our questions about the unit. Also, Rachel made all the paper work quick, easy, and had a great smile.If you are looking for a camper trailer, this is the place you want to deal with.

I was referred to Tom Schaeffer's Camping by a friend and he specifically advised me to work with Kent DeMoss. I am sooo happy with my Travel Trailer from Tom Schaeffer's and the way it was handled by Kent. Additionally, I received two-hour training going over my purchase from head to toe by "Bob". Bob was patient; knowledgeable and thorough. Kent followed up with me several times to see if I had any additional questions. I never once felt that after the sale was done, that was it. Our sales person Sean and the mechanic Tom who gave us the demonstration of the new camper were wonderful and the only reason we continued with the purchase of our new camper. “ The little man behind the desk “ who appraised our trade in was incredibly unreasonable and unfair. Would surely recommend a grand design camper. Just don’t trade your old one there.

We recently visited Tom Schaeffer’s during their anniversary sale to look at several campers before making a decision. My husband spoke with Barb for several days prior to our appointment to figure out which ones would be the best fit for us to take a look at before visiting. From the moment we made initial contact, Barb was helpful, informative and patient with our many questions as first time buyers. On the day of our appointment we were able to take our time and make our final decision without pressure or feeling like we were “just another sale” to the entire team. The whole staff was friendly and patient, and even handled the craziness of our 4 kiddos. On the day of pickup, we dealt with Kerry who showed us the ins and outs, answered our questions, and helped us make some final purchases in the store. The whole experience from start to finish was incredible. Thank you so much to the entire Tom Schaeffer team for helping us find our family’s first camper!

While traveling in our RV, we encountered a slide-out problem with our 2022 Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel. We called many Grand Design dealers in a four-state area. In a post-Covid world, with employee shortages and supply chain issues, Tom Schaeffer's RV was the ONLY dealer that would take us as a customer, despite the fact that we had not purchased our rig from them and that the repairs would be covered under warranty. From our initial call, all the way through to the pickup of our rig, Jim H. in the service department was communicative and helpful. We got an appointment three weeks after our initial call and every time estimate they gave us was on the mark (we had to wait 6-8 weeks for parts, which arrived in week 6). We never once had to call for an update, because Jim was the one contacting us to provide updates! We will be sure to contact Schaeffer's first for our future RV purchase and repair needs and recommend them highly.

Our sales guy Jim Campbell was just awesome. Very knowledgeable on the campers he showed us; upfront and honest. Rachel in finance was also great. Helped us through the loan process. Merry the demo guy was also very knowledgeable. Gave us great advice and tips on the camper.
Our advice is to see Mr. Jim Campbell if you’re looking for a new or used camper and make sure you have Rachel for your finance needs. And hopefully you’ll have Kerry for your demo.

Bought yet another travel trailer here, I’ve bought several and have always been treated well.
The service is excellent and I’ve always felt comfortable.Dealing with Sean was a pleasure, the prices are competitive not always the lowest or the highest but you do get what you pay for. I highly recommend Schaffer’s.

Tom Schaeffer's offers excellent service. We just purchased our camper from them this past Friday, 10/13/2023, and the team they have there to help you is a really good experience. Our salesman, Kent DeMoss, worked diligently to get us the unit we wanted and ensured when we came to pick it up everything was waiting for us. NOTE: Kent was not able to make our pick up date but he still had everything arranged for us that made the process smooth and easy. Covering for Kent was Steve and he helped with organizing our trade-in 5th wheel. Rachel, business office, had our paperwork all set. The tech that showed us how to operate our new 5th wheel, Bob , was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining all the features on our 5th wheel. The service tech, Gordon, was very customer oriented and stayed after he had finished his workday to ensure we got out. And last but not least Ron in parts had all of our pre-purchased items waiting for us.....we are looking forward to future dealings with Tom Schaeffer's

We have liked around and our camper shopping brought us back here. The staff is great to work with from the receptionist to the salesman to the tech that covers your purchase from bumper to bumper with you.

We are completely satisfied and excited with what we purchased and we know we will not be disappointed as we set out on our new camping adventures with this upgrade from our old one.

Tom Schaefer’s is the best! Definitely a great place to buy an RV. They have been in business for many years and that doesn’t happen unless you are good at what you do!
