Chapman's Deli

I enjoyed lunch here with my children. The food is very good. There are lots of choices, and everything is made fresh as you order it. The tuna club sandwich was huge, it had three slices of bread in it. Plus, you get to choose your choice of bread. The buns for the hamburgers are very yummy. Everything is so fresh. We went right around 12 on a Saturday, we beat the rush, because just as he was making our orders, there was a line of about three or four people.

Love the homemade bread here. The lunch meat is always sliced fresh after you order, and if you can get the potatoe salad after it was freshly made and it's hot, then you striked gold because it's awesome!! The sausage bean soup is very flavourful and yummy.

Amazing food, everything is fresh and home made. Bakery items are always good as well. The Chapmans are always working hard every time I come to pick up my order. Recommended for all sandwich and deli lovers.

Oh I can't believe I've driven past this gem for years! It has to be one of the best sub places I've ever been too! Fresh tomatoes slightly seasoned, freshly sliced thin quality meat with just the right amount of shredded lettuce and onions all nestled in a crunchy roll, with the soft chewy goodness that only fresh baked offers. Each sub offers a secret ingredient that takes it to the next level. Did i mention that they have peppers of all kinds and brownies that are divine?

For 35 years Chapman's has been serving Reading, and i hope they continue for my grandchildren!

Excellent sandwiches - this place is the real deal - their chicken salad (only available on Thursdays) is second-to-none. Monte Cristo sandwich is excellent, as are the burgers. Turkey is also a perennial favorite. Different specials every weekday. You can't go wrong, here.

We go to Chapmans for the great pastrami sandwiches, which are always of superior quality. Nobody makes a better sandwich.

Best Deli sandwiches around Berks County! Lots of homemade tasty sides to go with your hoagie along with homemade soup too! Really nice people that own and run the place! Check it out you won't be disappointed!

Amazing food! I asked what his specialty is and he said the Reuben. Fresh sliced meat, freshly cooked right then when ordered, and great service. It may look rough to some from the outside but I promise you that you won't regret eating here. Thanks guys for a great meal 🙏

Found Chapman's by accident on Delivery Dudes after my fav place was closed. Just WOW! The BEST sandwiches & salads in the area for the most reasonable prices. Have been ordering a few times now & never went back to old place. Fresh, YUGE, delicious everything. Not usually this impressed but have to say they rock...

This is a small old time deli which is awesome. The food was freshly prepared. I got a cheeseburger and it was delicious. While I waited I noticed a lot of people are known on a first name basis which shows they really take the time to get to know their customers.

This place is great. Great ingredients give you great sandwiches. Their lunch specials are awesome and priced well. This is a favorite of mine. Definitely try it out.

Owner was very friendly, food was fresh & tasty. Homemade breads for the sandwiches, homemade soups and salads - definitely a place to try if you're in the area!
