Old House Bakery and Bulk Food

The homemade pastries are the best! Try the doughnuts. Also a great place to stop for fresh homemade bread, eggs, milk flour, sugar , juice, etc.

I highly recommend this place. She has lots of baked goods and grocery items. She also does gluten and dairy free orders if you call ahead and order. And of course her delicious soft pretzels. Stop by sometime if you have never been there.

Very small town bakery, with a nice variety of baked goods! Pies, cookies, bread, brownies, soft pretzels, pastry...My husband likes the Shoo Fly Pie and I love the cream donuts! Homemade and delicious! There is plenty of parking behind the back of the house.

Great store to get some great baked goods.Stop in for some lemon bars, tasty cakes, black bottom cupcakes,soft pretzels. They also carry zooks chicken pies as well as the beef pies.The owner is also a joy to have a conversation with.

Update: new owner has taken over since my review. Food is not up to the old standards.

Sarah who runs the bakery is absolutely wonderful. We buy all of our Christmas cookies from her every year. They look beautiful and everyone comments about how delicious they are. I would highly recommend her bakery! You won't regret it!!!

This place is an awesome store in town... they added groceries to the store since the new owners took over..they got a little bit of everything..a handy store to have in the neighborhood.. a must buy is there Apple cinnamon cake... absolutely delicious! Try there donut too! Need something for dinner? They got Zook chicken and beef pies there!

What I love the most about this place is that, if I know I am going to be on a certain day, and know approximately the time, I can call ahead and make sure they have amount of Soft Pretzels, or Homemade Doughnuts etc. Love, love, love it. Also love that they will try and make item not easily found elsewhere.

Call me crazy for driving 2 hours just to buy donuts from the Old Bakery House. But until you try Sarah's baking you will never crave someone elses donuts again. She is friendly, kind and delight to give business to. Truly an amazing find!!

i had the most amazing Bialy i ever had in my life It had a beautiful crust and a gorgeous bagel type interior with a wonderful taste of onions. It was my first bialy but a couple months later i stopped at a small jewish bakery and their bialys weren't half as good....... DEFINATELY STOP THERE

Unique hometown bakery. My favorite is apple cider donuts with coffee. Keurig machine ready to go. You will also find frozen pies and many more household staples..

True Lancaster County cooking. Fabulous cheesecake, and anything pumpkin, plus black walnut cake. Very quaint.

A family business bakery in the unique farmland country building. Until u visit here u don't know what u are missing. So stop by when you're in the area.
