Food was delicious fries were very good and hot. 1st time we stopped, won't be the last time,
Ps, on the way home, we stopped for Orangeville ice cream, yummy, very creamy..

This place is a Cute, Unique, old fashioned style, ice cream, and quick variety food stop. There is a few seating inside and seating outside as well. I recommend you to stop in and try a few things on the menus!! good selections of soft served ice cream, sundaes, snacks, etc and regular foods, even coffee from a local place! Good prices as well and cool, nice, atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff and quick service.👍

This place is great. The food is delicious. This time we stopped for some soft serve ice cream only. It is so good!!! Lots of room to eat indoors and they have an outdoor area which is covered with a roof. The staff is so nice. So many great food options.

New to town and this is the ice cream place to be!! Even the food is decent. But their creamsicle milkshakes are addictive!!!!

While not exactly fine dining, Herman's excels at simple fare like BBQs and hot dogs. They have a nice variety of sundaes to choose from, and though the ice cream flavors are limited, it is still one of the best places to go for a cold treat.

We all had deluxe cheeseburger and they were delicious and French fries nice hot n crispy. we finished with soft ice cream which was also super. Will definitely return.

Cute little place to have fries and a shake, soft serve ice cream (flavor changes every week), somewhere to take the kids for a treat. Sit inside or outside on the porch. Relaxed place.

Cute little Mom-n-Pop stop. Not really a drive-in, maybe at one point it was?
Smaller menu, but everything was fresh. Our dinner for 2 cost lest than $18, too!
They also serve amazing soft serve ice cream with different flavors you don't normally see with a special flavor of the week.
Highly recommend if you're on a limited budget looking for good, fresh food.

Cute old school spot with outdoor dining. The ice cream is great and they have a small menu for a quick bite to eat. The coffee floats are amazing.

After having a really frustrating day, I found myself approaching an old fashioned roadside eatery and decided to treat myself to the type of lunch I haven't had in decades. I enjoyed a fresh, piping hot, meaty cheeseburger with kraut, sweet potato waffle fries and a cool, refreshing milk shake. Sooo good, and it hit the spot. By the time I finished I forgot what I was so frustrated about and had a terrific leisurely drive through the rolling hills of the nearby beautiful corn country all the way home. This retro treasure reminded me of similar places that live in memories of my happy youth. A good-feeling treat.

Herman's is a great neighborhood soft ice cream shop with a selection of food items as well.
Watch for their flavor of the week as you drive by, building anticipation for your next visit.
They created (as far as I know) a premade treat called a, "Dipstick" where they slice a banana once lengthwise, squirt ice cream on one of the sliced faces, finish the sandwich with the other banana piece, dip the whole thing in chocolate and optionally put on chopped peanuts. Should you want to take this to the next level, ask for half a dozen when the flavor of the week is peanut butter ice cream. Don't forget to stock up for the winter as they are not open all year.

Great little small town drive in. Reminded me of the place we’d stop at on the way home from the pool when I was a kid.

Small dish for the dog and a small cone for me. Clean and fair prices, what more can you ask for!

Love Herman's! I can't eat dairy, but I can bring my grandkids here for an ice cream and get a frozen chocolate covered banana for myself! Very nice, friendly!
