Deluxe Diner

Fantastic brunch we had today after church. It was our first time there and Zach the owner was awesome. Our Server was great and the food delicious. We will definitely go there again. Great place for brunch and they have a pretty good selection all across-the-board for even dinner and lunch.

Hubby and I have lived 5 minutes away for 10 years and came here once. I didn't like the food so we never came back. Recently we saw a sign that said new management so we tried it again. That was 5 weeks ago. We have been back 4 more times since. Egg white , feta and black olive omelette was so good he has made it a weekly cheat meal.
The 222 is my favorite.
You have to try this place. The service is great, friendly and inviting. I am so happy we tried again.

As a local food reviewer I give this place a 10/10 for it being my first time I was very impressed by the great selection of sandwiches as it’s one of my favorite things to judge any diner by. I enjoyed the nice portion and size of the sandwiches here very satisfying and hearty. Would definitely come back.

Breakfast is very good! So is everything else on the menu! I appreciate their getting to know their customers and making them feel Welcome!! Great diner to go to for Great food! Oh yes, love the fresh salad bar and homemade soups!

My family and I had been a customer here for many many years. Food and service was great ""until the daughter, Anna took it over"" and portions got smaller and prices got bigger ~ so I stopped going there...... THEN
**I heard it was SOLD, so yesterday as I was passing by on my way home, I decided to give the new management a try. GREAT BREAKFAST ~ FRIENDLY SERVERS & HOSTESS ~ DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK 😘

This place is under new management and you can tell. Not that the other management was bad but this one is better. I noticed an improvement in food, cleanliness, and service. It was very crowded with many large parties but my small groups of six never wanted for anything. Lynn, our waitress, was attentive and pleasant. Multiple other staff members stopped by the table to make sure we didn’t need anything. The used dishes were quickly taken away and the checks (6 - all separate at my table) were delivered without having to ask. This morning was a very special day for my group because we were celebrating 10 years cancer free!

Best diner or steakhouse steak ever, Black Diamond Steak, Medium Rare! Their homefries were exceptionally good, and done exactly as ordered! Great ambiance and service to boot, with prices that will not break the bank! Our new dining after church spot!

Atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The owner and our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Their bread pudding is AMAZING and the tuna melt was delicious. .

It was our first time, the food we ordered was prepared just as we requested, our server and the staff were very nice, family atmosphere, inside was very clean and that is very important to us.

Very Pleasant atmosphere. Staff is friendly and make you feel at home. Owner is super friendly and makes you feel like your experience is important to him. Food was great. Definitely we will be back.

Got there just after 6am, immediately got seated and waited on. The food was served hot, delicious, and there was plenty of it. The price was reasonable and the restaurant was very clean, friendly, and well light.

My favorite place to go for breakfast. Always great service with friendly wait staff, great food and served really quickly! Prices are good too. We’ve been coming here since moving to Berks County 20 years ago and have never had a problem or something we didn’t enjoy.

I stopped by for lunch to try a new place and I was very pleased with my service from getting seated to check out the service was very good and they keep a very clean and professional establishment I definitely will be back and definitely recommend you stop by

New owner is such a nice , friendly guy with a great smile. Good food and large portions. Friendly and helpful staff.

Our breakfast was delicious 10/10, or waitress was very good 10/10, we did have to wait longer than usual for our food, but in their defense, it was very busy 9/10. All and all, we will be going back there again in the near future.
