Been my go to guys for years. Always get what I need for a good price. Very knowledgeable and friendly. If they don’t have what you want on hand it’ll be on the way in no time. Store is always nice and clean and so is their workshop, that’s important to a guy like me.

Had an extractor fail on my 1911. Had the extractor replaced and had a feeding issue afterwards. Looked up local gunsmiths and found Superior Gunsmithing. They took my 1911 and made it as good as new. When having the feeding issue I could not get through a single magazine without an issue. Took it to the range yesterday and shot over 200 rounds without an issue. Very happy with the work and will be coming back with any future gun issues.

I've been dealing with JC and Dennis at Superior Gunsmithing for several years. Every job they've done on my firearms has been extremely well done. They pay attention to detail and have offered good advice when needed. They are both very personable and helpful. I wouldn't want anyone else working on my guns.

I don't review many businesses however, I think this workmanship, detail, and art is worth the recognition. Back in Jan 2022 my brother was moving my safe after we moved to our new apartment. Little did he know that my pistols fell from the top to the bottom and took a good chunk out of my Sako FinBear Rifle gifted to me from my Grandfather. More heart broken then my last ex I desperately tried to find a gunsmith/stock repairman that would be able to fix such a nasty and hard to repair stock. I found Superior Gunsmithing in Pennsylvania and Dennis said bring it up and I can take a look. He said he would be able to fix it however, he just got Eye surgery and to come back at a later date if his eye is up to snuff again. Fast forward to December 2022 I took it to him to finally get it repaired. He originally told me March he would finish it (which he did). But when I called he said it wasn't complete yet. So today I finally got a call saying he completed it. Upon getting there and picking the rifle up he said that he actually redid it since he wasn't quite happy with the color of the fix the first time around, hence the extra wait. I'm thrilled to the moon on the craftsmanship of this and if you need any work done (stock/metal work) I would highly recommend Superior Gunsmithing in Pennsylvania.

Very helpful & kind! Had a forend nut from a shotgun that just wouldn't come loose. Brought it into the shop and it was removed, refinished, & I was sent on my way within 10 minutes being told its on the house. Will definitely be going back for my firearm needs!

Would highly recommend this shop to anyone! JC and his dad are awesome guys and extremely helpful! I was in a pinch and he did something out of the ordinary for me to make sure my gun was sighted in properly when I was having problems sighting it in.

I went to the shop because it had good reviews from other people and with my experience I can see why. I met one of the guys that runs the shop JC and he was extremely friendly and professional. I explained to him my situation and he was able to help me out right there on the spot. He was able to repair something for me in about 5 minutes. When he was finished I asked him what I owed and he said don't worry about it. I had never been to this shop before and I feel other places would have possibly taken advantage of me and or I would have had to schedule an appointment. If you are reading this review don't expect to have something done for you at no cost and also don't expect to have the work done on the spot I just got lucky and my fix was very minor. However, when rating my experience with the person at the shop, as mentioned earlier he was great. The shop setting was also very presentable and he even had a little doberman puppy that I was able to meet. Being a doberman owner myself I really enjoyed the dog. With my experience I would recommend Superior Gunsmithing to anybody and if I ever need something fixed again I will be sure to go back to Superior Gunsmithing. I will also keep them in mind for transfers if I purchase a weapon online as the shop does transfers as well as Gunsmithing work. Thanks JC!

Shop came highly recommended for a diagnosis of an issue with my AK style AR15. I dropped the rifle off on a Saturday in March. Within a couple.of weeks today being 4/9/21 my rifle was serviced an back in my possession.

I did give the shop free reign to do what was needed to make the rifle right. This offer was not abused in any way and the rifle was test fired and cleaned upon return.

Video evidence of gun firing an solving my issue with my rifle was shown and a reassurrance of the quality of work.

All old/worn parts were returned that were replaced an were shown to me as to why.

If I should have other issues that I cannot solve I will be returning.Highly recommend.

I took my Winchester model 70 bolt action rifle in to have a recoil pad and a rear dove tail sight blank installed and I couldn't be happier. They were a Pleasure to deal with and did amazing work for a great price. The work done was seamless as if it were put there during manufacturing. I am in a wheelchair and they were so accommodating for me. They even went as far as coming out to my car to carry the rifle in so I wouldn't have to. I recommend Superior Gunsmithing for all your fire arm needs.

You will not find a better establishment!! JC and his father Dennis are extremly knowledgeable about their craft and their focus on customer service is second to none. I know that when I make a purchase from Superior Gunsmithing I will be able to make the most informed decision I can possibly make because JC and Dennis will have taken the time to make sure I have all the resources needed so that I can make my best decision. I have never had to question the business ethics or morality of JC and Dennis they genuinely care about their customers and the customers needs. If you have not heard yet Superior Gunsmithing also has the best prices around and if you are looking to make a purchase and they dont have a specific item or items in stock they can order them and have them ready for pick up in relatively short order. I'am extremely thankful to have such a great business nearby to me with two great guys.

I highly recommend Superior Gunsmithing for any of your firearm repairs or upgrades. I've had more then one firearm worked on already and they did an outstanding job. Everytime I come into the shop they are very pleasant and willing to stop what they are doing to answer any question I have or show me a firearm. I always feel welcome in their shop and will continue to bring my gunsmithing work to them and to stop in to see what's for sale.

I can’t speak for their gunsmith services but I did pick up a gun from here. The two guys that were behind the counter were friendly and seemed genuinely appreciative that I was there. Nice place with fair prices. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

JC does great work and charges a very reasonable rate. I have had him do things from cleanings, to stock repairs, and trigger jobs. I have always been happy with the finished product. The stuff he has for sale is reasonably priced. They even have NFA stuff like suppressors!

From my experience over the past 5 years the Hoffa's have built a really nice business. They're professional, personal and reasonably priced. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my gunsmithing needs.
