We had a corporate lunch here, and the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was decorated for Christmas and they had the fireplace crackling merrily. It was beautiful and the food was delicious as well. Great experience!

My husband looked for something special for Valentine's Day this year and he found it! Was almost a trip back in time. The food was amazing, you know the kind of food that's been prepared, slowly cooked to perfection. Same with the atmosphere. Completely unrushed but an attentive staff. I can't remember when I had such a delicious and relaxing night out. ❤

This is THE place to go for awesome food and atmosphere. Chef and servers are above top shelf. Dinner tables are prepared individually and come out piping hot. Guests at other tables were very sociable. This was a great night! And with the wonderful time had, we're happy to have supported a small businesses!

Went for Easter buffet. Meal was excellent. It's a great old building c.1785. I felt like I was in colonial New England. Staff very friendly and kind. Will definitely go back.

Great place to go to celebrate anniversary, birthday, romantic dinner. The menu can be a bit pricey but worth it. They have excellent steaks and seafood. My wife and I love there house specialties one is the skewer with fillet, shrimp and scallops. The other is called the house specialty which is fillet medallions with ham and cheese with an onion ring topped with a mushroom, burgundy gravy. Great fresh salads and homemade soups. They also have a great lunch buffet special changes daily. Menus available on line. Outstanding deserts from homemade pies, cakes to bread pudding. Full bar service. Service and atmosphere is outstanding. May I suggest visiting during Christmas season with the fireplace and decorations well worth it. The only thing that might be a negative for some is restrooms are on second floor.

Went to celebrate our anniversary and son in laws birthday. Very good. Had house special. It was great.
We had bananas foster for dessert. Delicious. They don t rush you out like a lot of places. Highly recommended

What a lovely evening! Aside from the history, the ambiance, and the AMAZING dinner (bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had!), was our exceptional server, who’s service, timing and communication was spot on! Thank you for a splendid Mother’s Day experience!

Tried the place for the first time on 5-3-19 for a wedding anniversary. Just the two of us. Funny how you live in an area all your life and never knew of a gem of a restaurant. When you want a restaurant that is quiet, cozy and great food you always tend to look elsewhere. The food and service was excellent, nothing more to say. I'm not one to give reviews, in fact I never do. So if you live in Berks County area take a drive to Womelsdorf and give the place a try.

The Stouch Tavern is delicious food in a fine dining historical location. This is my go-to for special occasions. If you can, when making your reservation request a table near the fire. Service is always amazing and the food is never less than spectacular. A must try is the Stouch Tavern crab soup, one of the best dishes you will ever have! There is not an option on the menu that will disappoint. Desserts are amazing as well, if you have a chance don't pass up bananas foster or the Stouch Tavern bread pudding. Several specialty items are made tableside, which is also a fun experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful facility! We had our rehearsal dinner here. It felt like stepping into colonial times between the decor and fireplace. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Our family enjoys going to the lunch buffet here on occasion. We paid 10.99 for all you can eat, and it was excellent. We have come numerous times, and every time we leave full and content. I dont think we've ever had a bad meal here. They also have a menu to choose from, but for that price at lunch, I suggest the buffet.

This place has old world charm, one of the best Cesar salads ever, they make it for you right at the table. My wife has been going here since she was a little girl. If you check the walls there is a pic of a little girl sitting in a rocking chair, that's her.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The price of the buffet lunch was really appreciated too. The Christmas decorations were exquisite! This place sure pays attention to detail and quality.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for the past 35 years. The food quality is consistently high, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere comfortable and delightful. To my dying day I will love this restaurant!

Atmosphere delightful, staff goes out of their way to please, food scrumptious enough for lunch several times a month. Our choice for dinner for all the special family events. NEVER disappoints!

Every time I'm here they are super friendly...they know me by name...very hometown feel...their food is AMAZING especially their pizza...their dough is home made so it makes the best for their pizza...its crispy their sauce is something you have to try to know what I'm talking about n the cheese does not run all over the place like some places do...so if your in town PLEASE go to P&J Pizza n try their pizza cuz it's AMAZING n I bet the best pizza you ever had!!!!!
