Beautiful old historic church! My grandparents are buried in the cemetery here. So peaceful and lovely to walk and remember!

I used to play in the praise band quite some time ago, and I fondly remember the beautiful Church and it's welcoming congregation.

Went there for a wedding. One hour from home and a nice ride through the country.

This church will accept you for your good qualities, but not your defects. When I went into "an emotional mental crisis" Pastor Lauren did not contact me even once to extend a sense of concern or compassion. I could never listen to her talk about extending love to others because I didn't experience it from her.
I sent her a text...no response, I gave her a gift for her baby in March, due in June...no response, I sent something in the mail...no response, I sent her a card after her baby was born...no response, I left her a voicemail on the church phone...no response.
I read an article recently. A man walked into church late and received looks of "judgement" from congregants, but when he walked into AA late, some attendees got up and hugged him with "compassion" because he had made it! How sad that is was God's people in His
house who saw through eyes of judgement, and people outside of His house who saw through eyes of compassion.
I don't want a pastor who "plays" church. If the love of God that she promotes isn't coming from her, then I can't look up to her as a pastor.
