Best Subaru shop around!!! They are super helpful and care about their work. Hands down the only Subaru shop I recommend for the surrounding area!!!

Highly recommend if you have a Subaru! Their experience with them is very evident, they knew exactly what it needed just based off the engine code after another garage couldn't fix it! They even had a good used Subaru part for cheap to replace a faulty aftermarket one for another issue.

As always, Orbachs was excellent!! They treat you like family and give fair prices for their service! I have personally saved several thousand dollars vs dealership costs over the past 10 years having Orbachs maintain our two Subarus. We have and will continue to recommend Orbachs to friends and family!

Needed my 2013 Subaru OB inspected plus was having an issue with an annoying vibration in the front left end when going 50 MPH or over. I called and talked to Andrea and she said it sounds like the control arm bushing. So I scheduled the repair and inspection, dropped the vehicle off the night before and by 5 the next afternoon work was completed. Now my OB is smooth and quiet which makes driving it a pleasure. Thank you Andrea and Chris for a job well diagnosed and completed!

So these people have been so good to me. They are very accommodating and always went the 'extra mile' for me. They have always done top quality work. They are so honest and so kind! And they have had so much patience with me who is very ignorant about vehicles and needs lots of it explained. They would never ever take advantage of you and pass on deals if they can. I recommend them to all Subaru owners

My wifes Subaru was having issues with the ABS system resulting in a Christmas Light Show on the dash board along with loose traction control and no hill assist feature. We first took the vehicle to a local Dealership that was very convenient to get to and from. They quoted me over $1200 to repair the vehicle, not including the $120 diagnostic fee just to get the thing in the shop. I took the vehicle back and tried two smaller repair shops to no avail but one in Lancaster City recommended Orbachs.

As soon as I made the appointment call, I knew the vehicle would be in good hands. Over the phone, the rep knew what the vehicle needed and even had second hand parts at their facility that they would be able to reuse instead of putting a very expensive new unit into the vehicle that already had 160k miles on it.

Even though the shop is about 50 minutes from my home, I brought it in for my appointment and within a few hours, they had repaired the issue along with a test drive and sent me on my way for under $550! They were professional, friendly, fast and super affordable. Great experience at this small Subaru specialized shop. We have three more Subarus in the family that will most likely be keeping them busy in the future. Thanks Orbachs!

I could not imagine taking my Subaru's anywhere else for repair. The most knowledgeable and honest repair shop I know. With Randy Orbach's experience servicing Subaru's since 1979, its no wonder Subaru of America calls him when they get stumped and that is the truth! On top of all that the absolute lowest prices for the quality of work. I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones because I'm in the know!

Will never take my Subarus anywhere else! Always do a great job and at a great price (not like another Subaru specialist we went to who tried to rip us off). Very knowledgeable, honest, and the nicest people. We always love going to Orbach's!

Been going to Orbach for years. They do awesome work and answer any and all questions you have. Honest and fair with their pricing! Chris has become another great mechanic along with Randy and Tommy. Andrea is a great addition to the front. They're all very personable and so knowledgeable. Love them.

I’ve written probably two reviews in my life... but this is something I just had to share.

I have a 2004 WRX and was completely new to Subaru’s. A couple of months ago I started having transmission problems with mine and after calling around to Subaru dealers and some other repair shops closer to me they had all basically told me that id need a new transmission. I’m a heavy equipment mechanic and I wasn’t too thrilled about the idea of replacing the transmission, especially since it was a manual and well there’s not really much to them. So I called them up having read the reviews and how well they know Subaru’s and I spoke to Tom in depth about my problem over the phone, he was able to point me in the right direction. I even told him in the start of our conversation that I’d be doing the repair myself instead of just dropping it off for them to diagnose it, and despite this Tom still talked to me and listened and gave me advice, and even explained how exactly that AWD transmission works and on the potential problem I had. The phone conversation had to be at least an hour and for him to take the time to explain a few things to me it really helped me out. From a mechanics/ business stand point he didn’t make any money off of just simply talking to me which says a lot. They care. Well a couple of weeks went by after talking to him I just simply didn’t have the time to tear into this project and once I did I realized I needed new bearings, Drive and driven gears, and a center differential... basically had to rebuild my extension housing on that tricky little 5 speed. Nonetheless I called back up to see if they had any used parts considering through Subaru it would have run me about $1,000. They completely hooked me up with the bearings, bearing races, and gears for 100$ Said and done. Now I still needed a center differential... but that’s something that had to be new. Yeah it was used, but I just needed something that would work and that’s what they had. These guys really helped me out and saved me a bunch of money, if it wasn’t for the hour drive away I’d definitely be taking my car there for it’s inspections. I’d tell anyone who has a Subaru to head their way.

Small shop, not fancy, you need to make appointments weeks in advance because they are so popular for those who own Subarus. Don't bother taking your domestic car there. These guys are inside and out Subaru gurus, but they are an "old school" shop. If you want a nice waiting room with coffee and fake smiles, go somewhere else. I love this place.

Miracle workers for Subaru owners. I will drove an hour to have them do anything beyond basic maintenance or God forbid I would have my car towed there (which Randy took the time to do for me btw). They’re always super busy for good reason, they’re the best kept secret in central PA for Subaru’s.
